A 3 week tour of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. All went perfectly and the itinerary organised by Kerala Travel was excellent, as was the quality of the places we stayed at.

From previous experiences we were sure that our trip would be great. This was a trip to celebrate our Golden Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Charly Jacobs excelled himself and the hotels booked were lovely and as usual the driver he engaged was a very careful man and also helpful. If we are planning another trip we will not hesitate to contact Charly.

Globe Travel provided an excellent service , always had a tour guide to meet us and internal flights all went to plan. They listened to what we required and ensured the details of our trip to Nepal and India were in place resulting in a successful and pleasurable trip we will remember for many years to come .

This is the second time that I have travelled with Kerala Travel/Globe Travel and have enjoyed the personal attention that they have given. They listened to what I wanted to do and tried to accommodate all my wishes. I found it really useful to do my own research on the area to fill in the details of the 'skeleton' trip that was arranged. The company was good at arranging homestays where ever possible which 'Trail finders' wouldn't/couldn't do and finding alternative accommodation if I didn't like their initial choices. The drivers also make a big difference to ones experience and I have been lucky to have had 2 who went out of their way to show me lots of different things and took great care of me. It was important to me that my drivers spoke good English as I have lots of questions! My drivers were far from word perfect but better than others that I have had in the past and sometimes the miss communication was quite funny! The car was comfortable and clean. I always sit in the front - it adds to the excitement of India's roads.The norm is to ride in the back.The roads in Tamil Nadu are much better than in Kerala. Check out everywhere you go for festivals and or live performances - there are some wonderful, colourful sights and eat with the locals, some places will give you a spoon if eating by hand defeats you. Tamil Nadu is vegetarian although I think meat is available in large hotels. I had a lovely skirt made in Madurai at the temple market - the tailor said I should have 2 made - wish I had taken his advice as the workmanship and quality of fabric was excellent.

We have just returned from a tour of Kerala,put together with great thought by Kerala Tours.we visited The historic town Cochin Waterfalls,rainforest,beautiful tea plantation in the mountains, spice plantations, a tranqil hotel in the back waters. We spent the rest of our time by the coast.

We spent two weeks in Kerala organised by Globe Travel Centre with Kerala TC. Nothing but praise for them. Literally at the very top end of our expectations. Will not dwell on details as already covered by other reviewers in full. Sufficient to say I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again

We have just returned from 14 days in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This holiday was absolutely superb. The hotels, tour guides and our wonderful driver all helped to make this holiday the best ever. The organisation and professional friendly approach by this company was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and you really are made to feel so special by this company. All the hotels and accommodation used were perfect and two of the hotels were possibly the best we have ever stayed at. The personal touches of gifts, mobile phone to use during the holiday and everyone being so friendly simply made the holiday outstanding. We will definitely be using this company again. Don't change anything - you have got it just right. Thank you for the perfect holiday/honeymoon.

Our friends had already booked this holiday in Kerala, when we decided we would like to make up a foursome, Globe Travel pulled out all the stops to reserve extra flights additional hotel rooms and larger vehicles. Very well done. Great Holiday

Like other reviewers, we have nothing but praise for Globe's Kerala operation, starting with their patient handling of our numerous questions and queries through the booking process. Our UK phone calls were seamlessly patched through to the team in Cochin and it was great to be speaking with knowledgeable local staff from the start.

Arrangements in India were impeccable and we were very well looked after throughout our stay. A particularly nice touch was the provision of a local mobile phone, which we could use at any time to contact their team with any questions or to raise any problems.

Our driver was excellent and the car provided was modern, comfortable and, most importantly, air conditioned.

We had a wonderful time and we felt that it couldn't have been organised better for us. We were very impressed with the way everything seemed to flow and there was great support from agents along the way.

We liked all the hotels, especially the Spice Fort and Greenwoods, and the homestays were so contrasting, it was extraordinary, one very organised, one very relaxed. The environments were spectacular though and the Ayurvedan massage in the first simply wonderful.

We all loved the houseboat and could easily have spent another night on it. At least having two nights we did get a magic 24 hours away from the crowds. The crew were fantastic. Best food, apart from Mannas Veedu.

All the guides were excellent but a couple stood out for their knowledge and/or friendliness.

We all loved our driver who took us into and across Kerala. Very reliable polite, helpful and friendly. It was good to be able to communicate with him and find out more about Kerala and being Keralan.

Overall a fantastic experience and I would certainly use the company again.

We wanted to visit Kerala for the first time and selected Globe Travel from their web-site. From the moment we wrote to them to leaving Kochi airport to come home, their organisation was faultless. The hotels and activities they selected were superb, the drivers they gave us were most helpful and the staff in India assiduous in their attention. There was even a staff member on hand at 1.00 in the morning to take our luggage through on the fast track at the airport !
Globe Travel made our first visit to India really memorable and we have already recommended them to many of our friends

KTC worked out an excellent and varied personal, semi tailored,tour. They listened to our requests and acted on them.
KTC staff and the drivers and guides who worked with them were uniformly thoughtful, informed and concerned.
When, in one hotel,, a booking had to be changed, the alternative was superb and two spectacularly good tasting menu dinnes were provided for all four of us as compensation.

We were met at the airport by our driver for the two week holiday in Kerala. From then on we felt in safe hands. We found all of the accommodation vastly exceeded our expectations and was of a very high standard. Food was very good and reasonably priced.
The programme was very well organised, with our friendly driver and guides provided when necessary on our visits. A very varied programme included boat trips, a night on a houseboat in the backwaters, an elephant ride, an early morning jungle trek, a safari trip to see wild animals, a visit to a local festival, local dancing, cookery demonstration,and visits to spice and tea plantations. Quite a lot of time was spent driving but there was still time to relax each day.
All this was inclusive in our holiday package. All entry charges were included. We paid for some meals, drinks and tips on top.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, which gave us a good insight into Keralian life. Highly recommended.

I had the most amazing holiday, the resorts and the houseboat we excellent and fully equipped and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, u would highly recommend this company and I can't wait for my next trip with them.

An amazing varied tour of Northern India followed by a week on a beach in Kerala to unwind all organised perfectly.
Excellent planning, arrangements and support throughout. Totally able to rely on people being where they should be at the right times which is important when you are travelling as a couple as we were, and not with a group.
Nothing was too much trouble and all our little preferences were accomodated without question.
Hopefully Globe will continue to add more destinations so we can continue to travel with them.

Charly was incredibly helpful when I was researching and booking our holiday in Kerala and Madurai. From the moment of our arrival in Cochin everything went like clockwork. Our driver Murali was courteous, amusing, informative and always on time for each journey or outing. Swapna, who met us at our first hotel, checked our itinerary meticulously. All the individuals, from Jithin who met us at the airport through each guide for our various trips, were polite, informative and friendly. Dhofi (forgive me if I've spelt his name wrongly) picked us up promptly at 4.30am to get us back to the airport for our flight home. We had a wonderful time and it was organised perfectly. Thank you.

Kerela travel centre were fantastic. Every stage was hassle free. The itinary recommendations were flexible and well suited. Contact was prompt and helpful at all times. Oh and the actual holiday was amazing!

The most striking aspect of the holiday for me was the fact that the Globe Travel expert not only produced the perfect itinerary on paper but one which exceeded all expectations in reality. He obviously has tremendous skill in interpreting client needs.
Our driver, after 13 days, became a great friend while maintaining professional standards throughout.
As seasoned long haul travellers we were feeling a bit jaded before this holiday but this experience has regenerated our wander lust. Thanks to all involved.

From stepping out of the airport on arrival to stepping back again at the end of the holiday we were looked after extremely well. The organisation, care, courteousness and attention to detail were amazing and created for us a very memorable holiday which we will never forget.

We were received by a well prepared team leader and taken to the hotel which was top class. All the 5day we were taken care by this team leader.
