Six locations in a fortnight from Kochi to the Western Ghats, an island home stay and a rice boat. All Globe Travel's arrangements worked smoothly from discussion to booking to on location. We loved Kerala and its people, particularly those in the tourist industry. We would recommend the tour company and this Indian state to anybody, without reservation.

We have just returned from a fantastic 11 night tour around Kerala with Globe Travel. I cannot fault the organisation of the tour, the drivers and tour guides provided. There are too many highlights to name, but in particular the Lakes and Lagoons Houseboat and jungle trek/rafting in Periyar were real highlights. The hotels selected by Globe Travel were all outstanding, in particular Xandari Pearl in Marari Beach. I would recommend Globe Travel and Kerala to everyone!

Globe travel delivered on all their promises of a holiday of a lifetime. Charly was particularly helpful in the planning before we left. On arrival all ran smoothly, Rupresh, our driver, was cheerful, courteous and safe. The hotels were top class and the Indian people were genuinely friendly wherever we went, not to mention the spectacular views and experiences. Thank you to all.

We contacted Globe travel and many others tour operators for our first trip to India. They were by far the most efficient, friendly and competitive company who came back to us with their suggestions. Their knowledge of Kerala was truly remarkable -not surprising though as the people you deal with have all lived there and know the country inside out. We received a wonderful detailed information pack - all printed on environmentally friendly paper - very much appreciated during the tour.
Their driver Rio who met us at the airport with smiles - although it was 4am in the morning and he had been kept waiting for hours - stayed with us for 10 days and was a marvellous comforting presence with the roads, traffic and driving in India - we certainly appreciated his knowledge of the various villages and towns. . We had five very dedicated professional guides in different areas, who gave us first hand knowledge of their particular subjects whether that was bird life, animals, forestry , tea plantations, spices etc - making us feel like VIPS.

We felt all along the way that we were being very well looked after - only a phone call away if we needed anything. We could not fault them in any way - all their choices of hotels, homestays were exactly right for our initial requests for old colonial, no touristy areas and they got it just right. We have just returned knowing we have seen the real Kerala and loved it.

We will most definitely use Globe travel Centre again for our next trips. Marvellous experience and we wish them well.

We had decided to visit Kerala, India as a special birthday treat, and found the Globe Travel website online. We contacted the travel office and spoke to Charly Jacob who asked what we wanted to see in that region. We gave him a list and within two days he contacted us with a bespoke tour to satisfy our request. The crew at Globe Travel helped us through every stage of our organisation giving advice of what medication needed to be in place and how to obtain our E visas. On arrival we were met and taken to our hotel and it became obvious that our tour had been arranged meticulously to include every detail. The firm's representative in Kerela gave us a telephone so we could contact her in case of an emergency, but there was none. Our driver was a first rate guide with whom we formed a friendly and trusting relationship. He gave us first rate information at every location we visited, and the local guides employed were also able to convey specialised knowledge regarding these. Every transfer was carried out with a high level of efficiency and the choice of hotels etc. were of a high standard, and exactly as we had requested. We are looking forward to our next journey with Globe Travel.

We had a great time The holiday was very smoothly organised and there were no hitches at all. Everyone was very helpful and attentive and we were fully informed about all activities and arrangements at all times. Our driver David was fantastic, very amusing and negotiated the Indian traffic with ease (no mean feat). We really enjoyed it all and there were many highlights which we will treasure. We would recommend this trip and the holiday company to anyone considering a similar holiday.

From the moment i initailly contacted Charly at Kerala Holidays part of Glbal Travel to the touch down back The service professionalism and overall experience has been fantastically memorable.
The actual itinery and holiday surapssed all expectations. Memories we will both hold in our minds and hearts for many many years. The hotels were great. all information accurate and we had such a fantastic time. We may well return to Kerala, certainly India but will also use Global for other holidays in the future.

Kerala Holidays where great right across the board. They maintained a high standard of service from my initial online questions to our Rep- Charly (who was very accommodating & helpful) right up until to our final day.
I asked if I could put different parts of tours together to make up a dream holiday, the answer was yes & it was confirmed soon afterwards.
The Kerala Rep’s were all helpful & informative from our start in Cochin where we met Swapna who had a warmth about her that made you feel welcome while giving you all the help and reassurance you needed in such a diverse country.
Our first Driver was skilful in keeping us safe in the chaotic Karala traffic. He was reassuring when driving in towns and in the country side, explaining about Kerala culture as well as points of interest. He was always willing to stop for photos or a break.
The car was air conditioned and comfortable during our trips, some of which were 3 hours long or more. The only thing that could have made it even more enjoyable would have been if the vehicle was a 4x4 or a people carrier which would have given us a little more room and suspension on the uneven roads.
The tours & trips had Guides at each location who were prompt, welcoming, courteous, informative and accommodating whether the trip was to the elephant orphanage, bird watching or visits to temples and Museums. All the Guides were very good but our finale Guide (whilst touring Trivandrum) was outstanding.
The Accommodation was lovely, very clean & tidy with good facilities at each location, our favourite being The Spice Village.
I read somewhere that if invited into a Kerala household the people treat you like family, this was certainly true when staying with Jose & Daisy’s at Mundackal Estate where we were welcomed in like old friends.
We toured the Estate with Jose who pointed out the vast variety of fare growing in the plantation with his own unique, interesting and humorous eloquence.
As for the home cook food- that was in abundance and with a cooking lesson thrown in by the excellent cook Daisy it made our stay very enjoyable and memorable.
The only slight downfall of the whole Holiday was the cost of the Visas and the hassle and cost in obtaining them.
Everything about this Holiday was first class. Would we go again….? YES!

We were extremely satisfied with our recent trip to Kerala and Tamil Nadu. We have returned with excellent experiences of the travel, the culture and the accommodation. The Globe travel consultant listened to our wishes and devised an excellent itinerary with just the right amount of detail. As requested, this ranged from high standard hotels to a forest lodge and included many additional interests such as temple visits, a mountain railway journey and a small, personal, spice plantation visit. The driver was excellent. We felt this was critical to our enjoyment and for travelling in India. He was careful, polite and punctual. He identified local interest on journeys also good, clean vegetarian roadside restaurants where necessary. Local guides where provided were also good and delivered an additional personal service. Some of the quality and detail included with the trip, such as a local mobile telephone to contact the driver, entry fees, etc, made things run very smoothly.

There were no hidden extras. In fact, on one occasion we inadvertently paid for an included lunch and were immediately contacted to obtain a refund. Overall we felt the trip was very good value for money and well planned. Some of the detail we appreciated only became apparent when sharing experiences with other travellers who had not benefitted from the same quality of service.

Thank you Ryan and Lloyd for getting me the best price for my family for flights from London to San Francisco. The service was courteous and I really appreciate the effort you took to get my flights confirmed quickly. I look forward to booking my next holiday with you.

Myself and partner have recently returned from a three week holiday in Kerala/Karnataka. The holiday was organised and booked through the Global Travel Centre. We found them to be a professional company whose attention to detail and friendly staff made for an extremely enjoyable holiday. We explained the sort of holiday we wanted and left the rest to them to organise which they did to our complete satisfaction and within the budget we set.

This company knows how to treat you as individuals. We travelled with another couple to Kerala with Globe Travel Centre and they were wonderful in co-ordinating a varied 21 day trip, travelling from Mysore - Sulthan Batherry- Cochin - Houseboat in Alleppey - Madurai - Karaikudi - Pondicherry -Mamallapuram. We stayed in all sorts of accommodation, and it has given us a wonderful insight into life in Kerala.
A fantastic tour, with the same reliable driver (we loved the Indian music tht we asked him to play along the way!), giving us such a personalised trip that we are now organising our next trip with Globe Travel Centre in a few months time. Can't wait.

Globe Travel have done a great job in organising the trip and I haven't got a bad word to say about any part it.

We did Kochi (2 nights) - Alleppey (Houseboat 1 night) - Kumarakom (2 nights) - Kovalam (4 nights)

Globe travel use local people and that makes a huge difference because they have local knowledge to make your trip the best it can be. We found all staff from agents to drivers very helpful and you feel like tipping more because of how much they go out of their way to make you happy.

We would recommend Globe Travel to anyone planning a trip to Kerala.

This was the best organised and personally tailored holiday I have been on. Right from arriving at the airport we were looked after extremely well by all local staff. All the drivers were very safe and the guides had excellent local knowledge. The staff were always looking out for interesting things for us to experience - but at the same time keeping us safe. Cycling to and around Alleppey was especially magical - the bikes were good quality, easy to ride and the area is very flat - I would advise anyone with a reasonable level of fitness to give it a go - it's a great way to get closer to the people and the countryside.
I have been very impressed by Globe Travel and would not hesitate to travel with them again - they made our holiday extra special.

We took the 10 day tour across Kerala, the Globe Travel team looked after us brilliantly from the moment we booked the holiday, through every journey, trip, experience and hotel check in. Only had 1 minor problem, which we reported on the local phone that we had been issued with, and the problem was dealt with instantly, again the team exceeded our expectations. we would recommend anyone take this tour, its an incredible country with wonderful experiences, and do it with this agent they were brilliant!

Excellent support & guidance was provided by the local Kerala agent who was able to put together a tour which fully met our requirements. Throughout our holiday they continued to ensure that we were completely happy with all elements of our holiday. A very good experience & we wouldn't hesitate in using Globe Travel again.

Globe Travel Centre was brilliant at interpreting our travel needs and providing a tailor made itinerary that took into account not only what me and my husband wanted but also what our children would enjoy. Very very courteous staff. Had a very memorable holiday and would recommend to anyone looking for a tailor made holiday.

In all our years of travel, we have never come across a tour operator who has offered as much attention to detail as what Globe Travel Centre provided. We did a week long south India tour and it has to be one of the best tours we have ever been on. Our favourite hotel was the Serai Bandipur, where besides enjoying the service, we manage to spot a leopard on the wildlife safari that was organised. We loved Globe's focus on sustainable tourism and especially loved the recycled tyre tube bag that our travel documentation arrived in. We will no doubt be ONLY using this company in the future.

Our visit to Kerala was completely magical and having the tour organised for us by the Globe Travel Centre saved us a huge amount of time, both in advance and while we were in India. The hotels picked for us were fantastic and the 11 days were packed full of wonderful sights and memorable experiences. The drivers were always on time and everything was very well organised. We are planning a return trip next year.
