Our recent trip to SE Asia was our third time using Global Highlights. The itinerary was developed by Monica, who skillfully adapted the options and timing to suit our needs. Monica was always available through WhatsApp, answered all our questions and ensured all would be OK. We have to say, having a private tour guide, transport that met and took us everywhere, plus staying in 4 or 5 star hotels, is THE way to enjoy this part of the world with little anxiety. We recently returned from an unforgettable 18-day journey through Vietnam and Cambodia, expertly curated by Monica Mo at Global Highlights. From the very beginning, Monica impressed us with her professionalism, deep destination knowledge, and attentiveness to detail. Living in Los Angeles, we began planning our October–November 2025 trip about four months in advance, and Monica guided us through every step with patience and expertise. Our itinerary included Hanoi, a stunning river cruise on Halong Bay, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City, culminating with a visit to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Throughout the planning process, Monica was an absolute pleasure to work with. Despite the significant time difference between China and Los Angeles, she was always available and quick to respond to our emails and messages. She offered excellent suggestions that enhanced our trip, such as including private transfers, meet-and-greet services at every location, and highly knowledgeable, English-speaking guides. Her ability to personalize our itinerary while accommodating our multiple change requests truly made the experience stress-free.

One of the most impressive moments of our trip came when unexpected flooding hit Hoi An on the very morning we were scheduled to fly there from Hanoi. Within just a few hours, Monica managed to completely rearrange our travel plans—rerouting us to Phuket, Thailand instead! She handled everything seamlessly, from canceling our existing flights and hotels to booking new ones, all while keeping us fully informed and reassured. Her quick thinking and dedication turned what could have been a major disruption into one of the most enjoyable parts of our vacation.

Thanks to Monica’s meticulous planning, our entire trip was smooth, comfortable, and filled with memorable experiences. We always felt taken care of, whether we were cruising through Halong Bay, exploring the ancient temples of Siem Reap, or relaxing on the beaches of Phuket.

EVERYTHING was AMAZING! This is our second time planning a big vacation for my family of 5 with the company and this experience was just as amazing as the last time. We did southeast Asia last year and Brazil this year.

My trip to Namibia and Johannesburg was unforgettable! Everything was perfectly planned, from the excellent hotel selections to the friendly, knowledgeable, and well-prepared guides. William, my guide in Johannesburg, showed me the city in record time and made me feel completely safe and at ease. The Namibia experience was just as impressive, with highlights like quad biking in Swakopmund, the stunning dunes of Sossusvlei, and a thrilling game drive in Etosha. Special thanks to the amazing guides: Emilia and Viva in Namib desert, and Konif in Etosha, for their warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm throughout the trip.

When originally planning my route through Egypt I was a little overwhelmed by the logistics of getting to archaeological locations. I found Monica and she was a great help to set me up in Egypt. She helped plan an itinerary for me and set me up with a great guide and drivers as well as finding class accommodations in Aswan and Luxor - right on the Nile. Appreciated her personal communication with me before during and after my trip.

LanLan von Global Highlights hat diese Reise vom Norden Vietnams bis in den Süden Thailands mit viel Sachverstand und immer offen für unsere eigenen Ideen schnell und unkompliziert geplant .
Und genauso unkompliziert war der Reiseverlauf .
Wir hatten alle Informationen und Programme detailliert vorliegen und an jedem Flughafen erwartete uns der entsprechende Guide samt Auto und Fahrer , um uns in die sehr gut gewählten Hotels zu bringen und in den folgenden Tagen bis zum nächsten Reiseabschnitt zu begleiten .
Sogar das Einchecken für die nächsten Flüge gehörte zum Service .

Wie fühlten uns ganz hervorragend aufgehoben - alle guides waren sehr nett und kompetent und haben uns ihr Land auf sehr individuelle Weise und mit vielen interessanten Unternehmungen nähergebracht .
Thanh in Hanoi, Minh in Hue und HoiAn und Tan in Ho Chi Minh Stadt , der auch noch eine phantastische Vespa Tour mit Linh und den Original Vespa Adventures organisierte .
Ganz besonderen wird uns Sompiseth in Siem Reap in Erinnerung bleiben , der nicht nur ein umfassendes Wissen über sein Land hatte , sondern auch ein perfektes Englisch sprach und überdies bei allen Handy- oder Photofragen der perfekte Berater war .
In Thailand lernten wir zum Schluss noch Mrs. Marie und Mrs. Kai kennen .

We started planning our 35th anniversary looking at 5 different travel agencies for Jordan and Israel. We took the best from each one and Monica presented us we an amazing trip of a lifetime. She worked through everything I asked of her. Of course, with the war our plans changed.
We now had to pick another option to celebrate our anniversary. Monica knew by our previous conversations what kind of experience we were hoping for. She immediately began planning our new trip to Italy. It was a busy schedule to highlight 4 cities. She included romance, history and amazing experiences to maximize this trip. If we ever had a question once in Italy, she was always available. As a flight attendant, I normally try to do all the planning on my own. After this experience, I will definitely use Monica and her expertise to make traveling more enjoyable.

Birthday trip Oct. 19th to Oct. 31st. From the very beginning of our trip planning, Monica Mo was so helpful and knowledgeable. Our group of 4 people needed guidance on options and suggestions for excursions. Monica was patient and understood that each of us wanted to input our wishes.
Planning was easy and we all had a wonderful time on the trip.

We used Global Highlights for our recent Peru trip and I highly recommend their service to anyone who is interested in culturally rich and action packed travel experiences. Their itinerary stands out for these reasons for us. First, top notched tour guides. We have learnt so much Peruvian history and archaeology pre colonial periods in Peru which made our previous reading of this hidden gem country in the Andes all making senses. Second, their travel arrangements were almost the best that we could expect, including lodging, air travel, etc. This arrangement enabled an action packed agenda and hots almost all the highlights that we had envisioned before the trip, including Nazca lines, Vinincuca (rainbow) mountain. The only thing we missed was Ballestta Islsnd which we could not do due to high waves. Lastly, they were super responsive to any changes and unexpected delays, and reacted quickly to help with resolution. For times, we felt that they were traveling with us through Whatsups. I would not hesitate to recommend this 17 days itinerary to anyone who is interested in Lear ont history, culture and natural wonders in southern lowlands, southern highlands and Amazon regions in Peru. It would be a time well spent for a life time memory.

We spent 11 amazing days exploring the stunning landscapes of Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli, and every single detail was taken care of perfectly. The game drives were an absolute highlight – we saw so much wildlife, it was like something out of a documentary! Charles, Paul and Tony were just top-notch. They were knowledgeable, super friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. You could tell they really cared about making our experience special.
Honestly, I can’t recommend Global Highlights enough if you're looking for an unforgettable safari adventure in Kenya. They truly made it an experience of a lifetime!

Our family recently took two trips in China, both are booked with Monica. This is the first time we use China Highlight (Global Highlight). We are very impressed with Monica and her team!!! She is very professional and knowledgeable. She patiently went back and forth for our itinerary to try to satisfy all our needs. When they say available 7 by 24, they really mean it! One of our members’ arriving flight got significantly delayed from 8pm arrival until 3am the next morning. She was available the whole time, closely monitoring the flight updates and chatting with the traveller to assure her that she will be picked up no matter how late she arrives.
The guides assigned to us are also great! Especially Xiao Wei! They are professional and knowledgeable as well! Our family really enjoyed our trips and will definitely use China Highlight (Global Highlight) for our future trips!

This was our first trip planned with Monica and the Global Highlights team but have worked with the China Highlights group many times in the past. As always we were fully taken care of from the beginning of the planning to the end of the trip and can’t say enough about the professionalism, care and expertise available from this company. This is the second time I've worked with tour organizer Monica of Asia/Global Highlights. Our short 1 week trip to China was nothing short of excellent. Excellent guides (Bruce in Beijing, Rocky in Xi'an), fantastic accommodations, skillful drivers, delicious food, and incredible architecture, history, and archaeology are just a few of the many highlights that my wife and I enjoyed while on our China trip. We will be returning to China for sure in the near future.

We had the best time in Japan! We came in April 2024 for our honeymoon. Monica helped us plan the best trip. We were able to see four different cities and do numerous excursions. We were able to mix in a variety of guided days alongside flexible free days. All in all, we came to Japan with a huge list of to do items and were able to pack all of them in within the less than two weeks we had here. Having all of the help was immensely important, especially for the first few days when we were still getting used to things here. We will always be thankful to Monica and our tour guides! Hopefully, we will have a chance to visit Japan again, sooner rather than later!
