Giganet customer for a just over a year.
Faultless service through my time with them. Unfortunately, I have recently moved into a different property and the service can no longer be supplied.
Frederick assisted my disconnection queries in a fast and professional manner. 100% would recommend this service to anyone, it has been a joy.
Incompetent and clueless
Incompetent and clueless. I was with these jokers for 2 years. After requesting to move to a more affordable contract, they kept delaying by saying oh there's a system problem at the moment, it can't be done. I eventually got fed up and moved to a cheaper ISP. Giganet said I had to see out a 30 day notice, so I planned with my new isp to takeover at the end of the 30 days.
Less than two weeks later, Giganet cuts me off without warning. They had told cityfibre I was leaving them and to end my connection. So now I'm in limbo for two weeks, no internet as someone who works from home. Suck my donger, Giganet.
Services denied
I had Internet with giganet for a year with no problems ,I was told to call up at the end of my contract and lower the tariff down to the 150 from the 900. This call I made on the 28th June my Internet was cut off and was told 48hours and I would be back online ,48 hours past and still no service so I called only to be told it would be another 72hours and it would be on . Phoned to find out why it was not on only to be told my order had been cancelled. Then they took payments from my account under a different name , I authorised giganet to debit my account not cuckoo ,fraudulent charges . When I phoned I get nothing but excuses.
52 days now and still no Internet and keep being told its the system. This company is full of bs. I had to upgrade mine and my daughters phones so that we would have data . Ive not been able to watch tv as it is streamed 2 month with no tv .I missed euro , I miss the darts, moto gp, the boxing . all because they couldnt do it right . . I have now told them to stick the service and to issue a full refund ,they now have 5 days to fund my account or court proceedings will follow .
Anyone thinking about going with this company should think again . Ridiculous company.
Don't waste your time
Trying to get setup with Giganet broadband has been unbelievably disappointing. Endless issues, lack of proper communication, having to chase, having to deal personally with their contractors and their repeated moving of install booking appointments with no explanation or apology - just a day or two before the scheduled install date. Waited four weeks already and received an email out the blue AGAIN today to say appointment has been moved AGAIN by a further 3 weeks. As someone who works from home full time, this is just not acceptable.

Extremely Disappointing Service - 3 Months and Still No Broadband
I am beyond frustrated with Giganet. We signed up for their Full Fibre 900 Mbps package at £42 per month after being sold on their service by a door-to-door representative named Victor on the 11th of June. He assured us that the installation would be completed within 3-4 weeks. That date came and went with no communication from Giganet. When I finally called them, they blamed it on their booking system being down for a week. Red flag number one.
The first installation team arrived on the 1st of July, and the experience was disastrous. They encountered blocked ducting and had to dig up part of my front garden. I understand there could be issues since we live off-road, but one of the team members kept complaining that it was taking too long because they had other jobs to do. They left the job half-done, suggesting that I dig up the public road myself to unblock the ducting—something that’s illegal without a permit!
Another team from BT came on the 3rd of July to unblock the ducting under the public road and fed a rope through to make things easier. But guess what? We had to wait weeks for Giganet to send their install team back out. When they finally arrived on the 18th of July, they claimed the ducting was blocked again and left without completing the job.
Since then, we've had no one return to finish the installation. I’ve called Giganet over 20 times in the last three months, but we’ve received almost no proactive updates—just endless calls, excuses, and a complete lack of communication between their support, install, and engineering teams. It feels like each team is just pushing the responsibility onto someone else, leaving the customer in limbo.
In short, Giganet’s service has been a complete nightmare. If you’re considering them, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Three months later, we still don’t have broadband, and it seems like Giganet couldn't care less. Absolute joke of a company.

Shambolic and unprofessional
I assume that the 4 star rating is swayed by reviewers who’ve never had to actually talk to Giganet. The router supplied by Giganet kept resetting so I emailed support, and I phoned them, again and again and again, eventually they sent an engineer on a Friday who left us with no internet at all, said he would be back on Monday, we’ve not seen him since. Eero helped me fix the problem Giganet should have supplied support for!
Only sales so far
Only had the sales from Carl Davies so far. All well at this stage, nice chap and friendly.
Hopefully the rest of the process is as simple and easy.
Unfortunately the system appears to be a bit clunky, Carl gave a choice of dates from his tablet; a week later we receive an email pushing that installation date back by a month.

Fast when it works but the wireless doesn't reach much more than 10 feet.

Hi - just wanted to leave a honest review on Giganet - we have had great communication with Giganet- and we have had a truly wonderful guy called Victor Fodor . Who has been so helpful with the handover from Giganet to virgin ( whom we have been for many many years with - better speed and no buffing - glad we made the change - thanks Victor 👍👍👍👍👍

Disgusting behaviour
I have fibre and have worked from home for 4.5 yrs with no problem. Giganet wanted their cables in our area too. Employed diabolical contractors, messy, shoddy work and behind schedule. Were sacked and work had to be redone. Meanwhile homeowners received endless leaflets for Giganet services. Clearly not enough sign-ups, so now sending out door-to-door salesman using threatening, high pressure, aggressive scare tactics. We have lots of elderly residents in our area. Shame on you Giganet.
