Lexi Bowe is fantastic! She’s helped through the process of me getting the best options for flights as well as walking me through the whole process of getting travel insurance/ in depth information I may need!! Could not recommend her enough!!

We returned from our 9 night cruise on the Royal Carribean and specifically requested no themed cruise like the wiggles, an alternative date was suggested . We booked 10 months in advance looked forward to the cruise with working hard to get it paid off. We got on the cruise and it was the wiggles themed cruise. We have lodged our complaint since our return which was the 10th April sent numerous emails for a compensation the in incorrect product information however no one is getting ack to us, we have spoken to Nicolas Montgomery promising me he would get back to me two weeks ago. This company over promises and under delivers I would not recommend in booking anything with Flight Centre! they are happy to take your money and push you aside on complaints!

We mostly over the years have booked out own trips. Time has caught up with us so my husband and I called into the Nelson flight centre.
We met Barbara and instantly hit it off. Explained what we wanted and she kept in touch.
Then we went back and a short time later we were all booked. Barbara is quick, efficient and so very helpful and all with a smile.
None of this sitting on websites spending so much wasted time.
Now we just need to sit back and go and holiday knowing its all sorted.

Danny in the Nelson branch is really easy to deal with. He finds out what the best options are for us and gets it organised. He is our go-to agent. This is the second trip that we have booked with him, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. Very efficient with a good sense of humour

My wife and I initially arranged a holiday trip for both us to the USA in May last year and the problems started happening soon after that, when we wanted to upgrade our flights to premium economy. Several (about four) emails to the Nelson Flight Centre with our request were not replied to and only got a reply after contacting the Flight NZ help centre to intervene.
We accepted the profuse apology from the Nelson Representative and eventually had that sorted. However we later decided to also include our daughter in the trip (flights from Australia, accommodation and tours etc) and we again had the same problems again with emails not being replied to regarding this request.
At this stage we had spent over $22,000 for the holiday and hoped that would be the end of our troubles dealing with the Flight Centre.
Unfortunately more problems (attributable to the Flight Centre) occurred near the end of our holiday on 11/01/2026. Amtrak Business Class train tickets had been arranged between San Diego and LA and we had to be at the train station 1 hour before departure, which we were, but we were the only people waiting to catch the train! Luckily a nice security guard took pity on us and advised there were no trains running for the next 3 days due to track maintenance and all passengers should have been notified of the alternative transport. We hurriedly had to get to a an Antrak Bus Depot arranged by Amtrak about 5km's away and only arrived with minutes to spare before departure. The ticket office person said that they were not informed of our contact information, but they did advise Flight Centre of this change on 08/01/2026 and said they should have contacted us! He gave me a print out of the email advising Flight Centre of this change. This last experience left us all confused, angry and very stressed.
So, from the start booking process until the final stages of the trip, the whole experience (in my opinion) has been unprofessionally handled and it would be highly unlikely that I would ever use Flight Centre again, sorry!

The Company could improve by actually wanting to help, we had great difficulty getting feedback from various representatives working at flight center.

They seem to be understaffed and cant help unless you have a booking, this is even after paying over thousands of dollars for our flights.

Gone are the days when they actually cared about the paying customer!!
Not even a follow-up call after been back for almost a month now.

Will have to look elsewhere for our next international trip.

A very pleasant experience, because we were treated very well by a very efficient Lexi.
She went the extra mile, as they say, to overcome difficulties with our visa applications I am sure she was not obliged to do.
Highly recommended the Flight Centre.
In fact we had another flight planned, so we went straight back to her. It proved problematic once more. However, true to form she persisted until she succeeded and booked our extra flights.

Our agent (Charlotte) came up with some great flight options and was thorough giving us options for seat upgrades etc.

We went into Flight Center Nelson to book some international tickets , we got an appointment with Danny.H, and we think it’s way easier to book flight tickets with an agent than booking it online to save some money, Danny gave us his time and has been so patient with us he got us the right tickets the right seats the shortest layover and transit time that we needed all that for much less than I would have paid online cause we are not equipped to search the way he does , Danny has been so patient, we think that’s an experience by itself, we are already ready to book another vacation with Danny for 2026 he just makes it so easy!

Kaitlyn from Nelson was amazing! Great prices that actually surprised me! Lovely customer service, friendly and she had excellent communication! Highly recommend her!
