Total bunch of dishonest crooks

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY OF CROOKS. Hired a car through VIP Car hire an online booking system. Hire included full insurance but Filorent insisted that it was not valid and i had to pay an additional 190 euros, before I could take the car. A bunch of dishonest scammers. Stay clear at all costs.

Furchtbar

Furchtbar. Erstens weiss kein Mensch wo man warten muss auf den Shuttle- war allerdings nicht korrekt beschrieben. Das Auto an sich war i.o nur PneuPressure war nach 1km down. Zudem war die Übergabe unfreundlich und erklärten nichts konkret.
Debitkarte wird NICHT AKZEPTIERT, ausser man zahlt 35€/Tag zusätzlich. Es hiess aber, wenn ich eine Versicherung bei der Buchung abschliessen, wären keine Zusatzkosten verrechent. LÜGE!
Nach mehr als 20h wach war ich auch etwas müde und hab vergessen den Tankbestand zu fotografieren 173km hatte es noch übrig. Bei der Rückgabe hatte ich 177 km wobei der grausame Typ behauptet, ich hätte den Tank zur Abholung 1/2 gefüllt. Also musste ich nochmals dazu bezahlen

Long waiting time despite No Deposit service option

The handling through Sunny Cars is always good. However, the No Deposit service option was of little use in this case. At the local rental company, Filorent, we were still in line with people who hadn't booked this option, and the administrative process with them unfortunately took a very long time. We waited in line for at least an hour. I'd say they should have a separate service point for people with No Deposit service option.

ESPERIENZA "STRA-PESSIMISSIMA"

Peccato che non si può andare sotto una stella... esperienza "STRAPESSIMA" .La gestione dell'agenzia di Napoli Stazione è affidata ad una persona indottrinata da due individui che manipolano telefonicamente questo soggetto. Improvvisano sulle regole di noleggio senza dare controprova di ciò che affermano. Il disguido nasce dal non accettare un duplicato di patente presentato con regolare denuncia di smarrimento firmato e sottoscritto dalle forze dell'ordine. Prima di arrivare avevo chiamato per accertarmi di tutto questo e mi hanno garantito la validità anzi hanno aggiunto che a loro servivano solo i dati della patente (cosa che era riportata in denuncia) pertanto mi hanno garantito che era assolutamente regolare. Già all'arrivo(18,30) la ragazza ci fa notare che siamo in ritardo e che l'agenzia chiude a quell'ora. Tengo a precisare che la mia prenotazione era per quell'ora e nessuno ci ha detto dell'orario di chiusura. Dice inoltre di non avere il nostro numero di telefono quando invece è la prima cosa che viene richiesta prenotando. Esigo la macchina ma la tipa rimbalzando tra varie telefonate accampa giustificazioni e normative infondate e ridicole alla fine non mi da l'auto e nemmeno mi permette di fare un'altra prenotazione con intestatario diverso. (Perdendo la prenotazione e i soldi che già avevo pagato anticipatamente) . Non vado oltre descrivendo le modalità che hanno adottato per " buttarci fuori" dall'agenzia. Siamo usciti spaventati ed increduli per ciò che abbiamo vissuto. Non esagero nel dire che mi sono sentita come su un set da film...e non sto esagerando..Che vergogna e che pochezza. Ci siamo ritrovati senza auto e non abbiamo potuto raggiungere il luogo che avevamo prenotato per alloggiare con conseguenze anche economiche che lascio immaginare!!! Filorent da radiare.

Zeer Zeer slechte ervaring.slechte ervaring

Zeer slechte ervaring. Filorent werkt via tussenpersonen maar neemt geen enkele verantwoordelijkheid voor de boekingen. In het reserveringsformulier staat in zeer kleine letters dat ze alleen creditcards accepteren – betaalpassen worden helemaal niet geaccepteerd, terwijl alle andere maatschappijen deze normaal gesproken wel accepteren. Als je geen creditcard hebt, rekenen ze een extra toeslag van €35 zonder duidelijke uitleg waar dit bedrag voor is. De medewerker was uiterst onvriendelijk – grof, onbeleefd, met een ontevreden gezicht, arrogant en zonder de situatie goed uit te leggen. Daarom hebben wij hun diensten geweigerd en zijn we naar een ander verhuurbedrijf in de buurt gegaan, waar we zonder problemen een auto konden huren met een creditcard.

Ik zal nooit meer gebruikmaken van Filorent en ik raad het ten zeerste af! Blijf uit de buurt van dit bedrijf.

Tre ore di attesa in una coda infinita e nonostante voucher prenotato con ritiro ore 10:00, alle 13:00 ancora non avevamo l’auto! Inaccettabile e vergognoso!!!!

Größte Verarschung meines Lebens

Sehr lange Wartezeit auf die Abholung. Sehr lange Wartezeit am Schalter. Es war nur eine Mitarbeiterin da für den ganzen Bus. Visa von Ing.Diba wurde nicht akzeptiert da Debit. Den Wagen habe ich nur mit einer neuen Buchung bekommen. Ich musste alles doppelt bezahlen. Und dann ist er auch nur auf 3 Zylindern gelaufen. Jeder einzelne im Buss hatte über eine andere Firma gebucht. Das ist Bauernfang.

Grundsätzlich zufrieden

Wir hatte aus neapel aus ein Auto über discovery cars gebucht und kamen zum Vermieter Filorent. Wir haben auch die Zusatzversicherung intensiv angeboten bekommen aber nicht genommen da wir über discovery cars bereits versichert waren. Sie sagte dann aus unerfindlichen Gründen das wir ein „Free Upgrade“ bekommen (größeres Auto) was jedoch im Nachhinein nicht zu empfehlen ist aufgrund der engen Straßen in Kampanien. Das Auto hat trotzdem gepasst und bei der Rückgabe gab es keine Komplikationen wie hier oftmals geschildert. Vielleicht hatten wir aber auch nur Glück und die Vermieter ziehen nur systematisch jeden 3 ab oderso, keine Ahnung. Nächstes Mal nehmen wir aber wahrscheinlich nicht mehr den Günstigsten Preis sondern nehmen uns einen internationalen Anbieter um uns den Nervenkitzel zu sparen ;)
Somit trotz Negativer Bewertungen positiv Überrascht.

PLEASE DON'T

Namesto Clio smo dobili Dacia Duster, kar je bilo za naše potrebe precej prevelik avto. Glede administrativnih stroškov ( 50 EUR/kazen) za plačilo kazni za parkiranje pa raje ne bom izgubljal besed. Seveda vam tega ob podpisu pogodbe nihče ne bo omenil! Po mojem mnenju se jim raje izognite v velikem loku!

A fuir!

A fuir! Je m explique! J'ai loué leur véhicule pour 1 semaine. Au retour, le personnel a fait le tour du véhicule. Rien à signaler.
1 mois et 1 semaine plus tard, j ai eu la grande surprise d un retrait de 490 euros sur mon compte en banque. J'ai échangé avec eux via whatsapp. Il me dise que je doit voir avec ma banque ! Je suis extrêmement en colère 😠 ! J ai dû faire opposition pour éviter que l opération se renouvelle ! CE SONT DES VOLEURS ET DES MALHONNÊTES! Je ne recommande vraiment pas !

Très satisfait de notre location

Très satisfait de notre location. Tarif très compétitif pour un véhicule neuf et très propre. De l’attente pour récupérer le véhicule mais pas dû à l’agence dû aux clients qui réservent un véhicule sans carte de crédit ou carte pas au nom du chauffeur !!!

Esperienza pessima dall’inizio alla fine


La mia esperienza con questo servizio di noleggio è stata purtroppo negativa. Sin dall’arrivo ho riscontrato scortesia e poca disponibilità: domande liquidate in fretta e nessuna reale volontà di aiutare. A questo si sono aggiunte attese lunghissime, ben oltre quanto ragionevole per un ritiro già prenotato, senza aggiornamenti chiari sullo stato della pratica. Nel complesso, un’esperienza da dimenticare: processi lenti e disorganizzati, comunicazione insufficiente e un livello di servizio che non rispecchia le aspettative minime per un noleggio auto online. Non mi sento di consigliarlo.

Filorent Brindisi Francesco/Roberta Scam

I’m writing to share a detailed account of my recent experience with FiloRent, specifically at their Brindisi airport location, so others can be informed.

When I picked up the car, a staff member named Roberta was very friendly and assured me that the vehicle was brand new, putting me at ease. I returned the car fully washed and clean. However, upon returning it, another staff member named Francesco took photos and pointed out a minor scratch that I believe was either pre-existing or insignificant.

Roberta then insisted I pay 180 euros for a wheel replacement, giving me the option to pay immediately or claim it through insurance. When I questioned the charge, another individual appeared, refused to give me his name, and tried to intimidate me, making the whole situation feel like a coordinated scam.

Unfortunately, after I returned home from my flight, I looked up reviews about FiloRent and found that many other customers had reported similar experiences, confirming that this is a widespread issue.

In short, this experience at the Brindisi airport location felt like a planned scam. I’m sharing this so others can be informed and cautious.

IMBROGLIONI. DA FERMARE

Noleggiamo auto, l'assicuriamo per fortuna. Non accettano carte miste debito e credito. Ci dicono che manca l'antenna
Riconsegnamo l'auto nelle stesse condizioni. Siamo adulti ed esperti, abbiamo utilizzato l'auto per andare dall'aeroporto all'hotel e poi abbiamo lasciato l'auto nel parcheggio dell'hotel. Alla riconsegna l'addetto si fionda sull'auto, a COLPO Sicuro, inizia a sfregare con le dita sulla carrozzeria impolverata e magicamente dopo poco appaiono delle righe (forse da loro coperte con creme apposite per non farcele vedere al ritiro...)
Hanno visto che la macchina era assicurata e vogliono rifarla tutta.
Non accettiamo il loro riscontro...
Abbiamo scritto al broker Disvovercars adesso vedremo come si evolve.
A posteriori vado a leggere le recensioni e trovo altri malcapitati a cui è successa la nostra stessa brutta esperienza, nello stesso modus operandi

NON AFFIDATEVI A LORO

Abbiamo avuto una brutta esperienza. Avevo prenotato online una Fiat 500 con nome del mio ragazzo e la carta a nome mio. Arrivati nel posto (20 minuti dall’aeroporto) hanno detto che dovevamo contattare il broker per mettere tutto a nome della stessa persona e che loro non potevano fare nulla per aiutarci. Inoltre dovevamo aggiungere 16€ al giorno per il guidatore under 21 (già pagato da noi nella prenotazione online). Oltre a ció non accettavano alcun tipo di carta di debito, neanche le miste e volevano per forza una carta fisica esclusivamente di credito. Dato che avevamo solo una postepay prepagata volevano farci aggiungere 46€ al giorno per la loro assicurazione (obbligatoria). Inutile dire che abbiamo rifiutato e trovato di meglio. É stato un incubo.

SCAM ..THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY,UNRELIABLE

We rented through Easyjet thinking we were renting through a reputable company.
On arrival at Salerno Airport the car was released once we paid the outstanding balance and they also blocked a further 405 euros for security measures.
They provided a car with multiple scratches and they didn't provide the form with the current damages until I called them the next day and requested them.
The car was rented for 2 weeks, we ensured it was washed and petrol full as well as controlling there were no further damages to the car,all was cook.
When returning the car to the company there was no one at the car rental it was closed. The same guy who drives the car around turns up and and told us the company was at a funeral and he would take the car. We were skepticle and all appeared misterious. We questioned him and told him to double check all was ok. He said it wasn't necessary all looked fine and so long I had the form with the current damages I would be ok,plus in a matter of days they would unblock my 405 euros.
A few days ago I got a message from my credit provider telling me they had taken a further 825 euros from the card,I was absolutely furious, I called them for an explanation and they were lying telling us that one of the doors was dented,a complete lie, I double checked all. They are trying to avoid all contact and I am in the UK trying to fight this case. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS CAR RENTAL...THEY ARE NOT PERFORMING CORRECTLY!

Same scam as others, charged for pre-existing damage

Same dishonest practice as others have reported!

I experienced exactly the same situation that many others have described with this company. They lure you in with very low rental prices, then aggressively try to sell extra insurance at about €30 per day when you pick up the car. If you refuse, they will later charge you hundreds for “damages” that were already there.

The car I received already had several scratches and dents, but I didn’t document them at the time of pick up, unfortunately, a mistake they took full advantage of. When I returned it, they billed me €200 + VAT for a scratch, which I’m certain was there from the start.

Another trick they use is not giving you the car you reserved. Instead of the small, economical vehicle I booked, they handed me a much larger car, presenting it as a “present.” In reality, it’s just another way to increase fuel costs and make you more vulnerable to damage claims.

It’s obvious this is their business model: low prices to attract customers, pressure to buy overpriced insurance and if you decline, they find a way to charge you for damage you didn’t cause, often the same damage charged to multiple renters.

Filorent offer low charges. But these are bait.
When you pick up the car they will agressively try to sell you supplementary insurance costing €30 per day. This is, in reality protection money. If you refuse to purchase the extra insurance, they will fine you €hundreds for non-existent damages.

We rented a car with many dents an scratches. Like many other customers, when we returned it, they fined us €180 + VAT for a scratch to the front bumper, even though the bumper was marked as damaged in the check out papers.

This is their business model. Cheap prices to attract customers. But these are bait. They sell expensive insurance. And if you do not buy them, they will charge you for "damage" to the car.

We sent Filorent photos of the pre-existing damage to reclami (I am not allowed to include the full email on trustpilot).
Filorent initially tried to ague that the photos were from AFTER the rental period, and that they were from a different part of the car.
I replied to them rebutting these claims, and told them they I had been advised to have no further communications with them, and that they will be hearing from my bank via VISA.

I then opened a Credit Card dispute with my bank, and send them a summary of my case as well as my supporting evidence (timestamped photos).
I also opened a claim with the price-comparison website which had issued the voucher.
Filorent immediately replied acknowledging their "mistake" and telling me they will refund the money (which they now have done).

This has taken several hours of phone calls. But I now have my money back.

Schlecht organisiert und unseriös.

1) Shuttleservice vom Flughafen nicht "im Terminal", wie in der Buchung formuliert
2) fast eine Stunde Wartezeit bei hohen Temperaturen in einem winzigen Büro.
3) Keine Dokumente, keine Einweisung.
4) Aggressives Anbieten von Zusatzversicherungen (habe ich mitgehört, war selbst entspannt).
5) Bei Abgabe wurde behauptet, das Auto sei "extrem dreckig". Ich musste 30 Euro extra zahlen. Lächerlich. Nach drei Wochen war ein ganz bisschen Sand im Kofferraum. Mehr nicht.
