Well they're no paddocks.
Shipped overseas - they are NOT equipped to deal with this. Packaging DIABOLICAL. Nice people and great support though. The clincher though is the price. They are clearly ambitious and have more range than the main players but they are taking the Michael on prices. I ended up buying a used car and broke it for spares and saved thousands compared to these rip off merchants on my current project. TMI. Price - too high, packaging abysmal but nice folk. A genuine and fair review

Firstly, it is good to hear that you consider us to be nice people, that we offer good support, and that our range of products may be superior to those of our competitors. We are encouraged by this, thank you.
With regard to our prices we can say that although we do not aim to be the cheapest we do price-check our products regularly to be in line with our competitors, and with regard to the packaging we have a dedicated team in our packing department who send parts worldwide on a daily basis with a great deal of thought and care given to how each parcel is packed. If our packaging was at fault in this instance and some damage was sustained we are truly sorry, and we hope that you contacted us via our customer support team to report any damage as soon as it was discovered so we could rectify it; we pride ourselves in excellent customer aftercare to ensure we offer complete satisfaction in the event of any damage that may occur during shipment.

Tony, a truly dedicated professional
Having sent a pleading but frankly not optimistic message to Famous Four I had a very swift response from Tony confirming what I knew, the part I was looking for (with the part number I had supplied) was now obsolete and not possible to order any longer.
It’s not an essential thing, just an optional extra from when my Land Rover was produced 23+ years ago.
Tony did however take the time to ask what job I was doing, did I need the whole kit, etc.
Result being that the brackets (which was the only part of the full kit I required) were potentially available and through Tony’s diligence are now on order and headed to me to be fitted.
It would have been far, far easier for Tony to have replied with ‘obsolete’ but through a professionalism and service level that’s (in my experience) only found in small suppliers and dedicated people, Tony achieved.
Truly great work & my go-to parts supplier from now on if this is my first experience!
Business owners- compliment your team more.
Tony- keep on doing that, you are bucking the trend my friend.
