After a successful hire, we were charged a £35 admin fee to our credit card for 'fines' associated with the hire. Turns out, we had forgotten to pay the Dartford crossing. I immediately called the Dartford crossing line, explained the situation and they waived the fine and we just paid the £2.50 fee.

I wrote to drfine @ ehi.com as instructed to get the £35 claim back. After 3 weeks and 2 follow ups, I still had no response. I went into the physical Ber Street Norwich pickup centre and asked about it. I was told there was no other way to contact support other than that email and "we agree, they're terrible at responding. Cc' me in and I'll see if I can move things along."

Cc'd in the Branch manager Alex Bates. Still no response from anyone 25 days later. Phoned up Ber Street and got another manager's name (Edward Bye) and cc'd him in. Still no response 18 days later.

Clearly they intend to ignore me until I give up. I'm lucky I'm only down £35, sounds like others here are losing thousands of pounds to this company. I won't stop contacting them until someone responds to me.

Enterprise Burton on Trent. I had a reservation booking booked at this branch which was cancelled because enterprise did not have the vehicle they said they had. 19 days later and I finally get my money back. Beware of this branch they refuse to process refunds I had to contact customer services to sort this out. Very disappointed in this company it’s not worth trying to hire a vehicle off this company.

Hired a car from Enterprise in Accrington, Lancashire . This is the first time I have ever hired from anywhere.. . Staff get 10/10 very helpful and explained all about the various charges that got me confused on the website. All ran smoothly and was a good experience all round.

Never hire a car from this companyNever use this company. They demanded a $1008 deposit hold for the car hire. Took the car back in perfect condition with a full tank.
The I was told it will take up to one month to get my deposit back. They must be earning interest on everybody’s money.
Contacted my bank and the said it should only take 2 days.

Called up their support but they could not give me any timeframe and that how the company works. Nearly 3 weeks now and I still don’t have my money.

This company is a scam. Never use them.

Lej aldrig fra dem hvis i skulle komme tilbage med bilen hvor der ikke er nogle til at modtage bilen, vi leje en mini bus i Edinburgh hvor vi gennemgik den inden udlevering og de skader den have blev noteret og skrevet ind i lejekontrakten, trods det hævede de 12500 kr. mere den dag vi afleverede bussen da der ikke var nogle til at modtage os kl. 5 om morgenen, vi fik ingen besked om hvorfor før vi selv ringede til Skotland hvor de sagde at bilen havde en skade SOM VAR SELV SAMME SKADE DA VI FIK DEN vi havde heldigvis taget billeder ved aflevering som vi har sendt dem trods det sker der ikke noget de har ikke tilbagebetalt depositum og de 12500 kr. så jeg vil kalde det rent tyveri

We are extremely not happy about the Enterprise Chippenham. Our insurer chose Enterprise for booking cortensy car. When we receive the car we just quickly looked around with the Enterprise employee. We found a scratch on the wheels rim, and said they are aware of it. We had a car for over a week, driving just to work. After returning the vehicle the lady - Z.C. was checking the car around. It took her seconds to walk the car around and suddenly stopped by the wheels tyres and find small chip. It is something very difficult to see, definitely more time is needed to notice it. But for her it was couple of seconds. We are sure they were aware of the damage before. Also the chip was exactly next to the wheel rim damage they knew about before. So that was probably damaged at the same time. We wanted to see the picture of the car taken the day we have received it to see if it was in perfect condition or the damage was there. We didn't want to pay for it. But the lady said that her manager is not in and she can't let us go and took a money from our debit anyway and it was £198. She didn't even wanted to talk to us, she was chasing to finish the conversation over. That was a fraud, extortion. We feel deceived.
Everyone please make sure before you get the car from them you take plenty of time to check everything, literally everything and take lots of picture so they don't hit you up for a money.

I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Belfast. They charged me £1500 for an almost invisible scratch that was already there when they handed over the car. Despite my insistence, they refused to provide a damage report at the time of pick-up and assured me that everything was fine. They didn't take a video of the car or suggest we check for any scratches, making us feel we were ready to go.

When returning the car at the airport, the staff suddenly spotted the pre-existing scratch and demanded £2000. After reviewing my contract, I noted that the excess should be £1500, which is still an unacceptable charge given the circumstances.

Moreover, the baby car seat they provided was old and without any manual. The staff informed us they are not responsible for installing it. With a baby under one year old, it was extremely challenging to install an outdated car seat without any instructions, which were also impossible to find online.

Overall, the service was incredibly frustrating, and the unexpected charges are unacceptable. I would strongly advise avoiding Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Incompetence , apres avoir effectuer une location par le net et payer on mappel dans la semaine pour me dire quils ont pas de vehicule , donc je me tourne vers une autre agence pour louer sauf que ça fait 6 semaines que jattend mon remboursement , apres une dizaine dappel on me di cet ok patienter et toujours rien il se foutte de moi , agence pas serieuse et groupe tres mauvais

Nous sommes passés par cette société suite à une panne voiture part le biais de notre assurance. Le jour de la prise de véhicule, état des lieux dans une zone sombre entre 2 véhicules. La voiture étant déjà bien abîmée nous faisons le tour je prend des photos au Maximum, surtout en latéral côté passager . Le plein n’était même pas effectué. Me doutant que le retour allait être compliqué j’ai même hésitez à refuser le véhicule mais pas d autres de disponible et la personne me dit on vous sur classe ..
nous ramenons le véhicule , nettoyage et aspirer pour ne pas avoir les frais de nettoyage pouvant être facturé 120€ ,.. et la arrive côté passager la personne en charge de état des lieux se penche tellement pour vérifier le vas de caisse qu elle se retrouve sur les fesses et voit une d’éraflure sous le bas de caisse !!! Impossible a voir debout en étant en position normal ! Nous contestons appelons l’assurance pour leur indiquer le litige et là on nous confirme que rien n’est à payer nous sommes assurés, rassure nous indiquons cela. La personne mais surprise : elle nous répond si la franchise de 250€ ! Trop tard elle est prélevé ! Sans même notre accord et malgré la constatation et l information donné ! Bref des voleurs . Mon assurance a donc effectué une réclamation direct et j’ai fait opposition au prélèvement. Cette entreprise est une grosse arnaque et quand je vois les avis avec les niveaux de primes je comprend mieux mais je ne comprend pas que ce genre de pratique puisse perdurer c est une honte .
Un conseille passe part une autre entreprise je déconseille fortement ce sont des voleurs de première

Ich habe über eine Vermittlungsagentur einen Mietwagen bei Alamo/Enterprise Tallinn in der Zeit 19.06.-24.06. gemietet und es wurde eine Kaution von 1.300,00 Euro über meine Debit Mastercard geblockt (gg. Extragebühr für die Debit Karte). Bis heute (06.07.2024) wurde die Kaution nicht zurückgezahlt.
Es gab am 20.06. ein Problem mit dem linken vorderen Reifen, in den sich ein Nagel/Schraube gebohrt hatte. Bin sofort zum Alamo/Enterprise-Büro am Flughafen Tallinn gefahren und ich sollte selbst zu einer Werkstatt fahren, die den Schaden sofort behoben hat. Der Alamo/Enterprise-Mitarbeiter teilte mir mit, dass die Kosten von meiner Kaution abgezogen werden. Bis heute, 06.07.24 habe ich weder eine Rechnung der Reparatur erhalten, noch wurde mir die Kaution zurückerstattet.
Mehrfache Anfragen per Mail blieben unbeantwortet. Eine Antwort von der Vermittlungsagentur steht noch aus. Ich befürchte, dass Alamo mittlerweile betrügerisch unterwegs ist und meine Kaution einbehält. Ich werde alles versuchen, meine Kaution minus der Schadenzahlung (max. 200,00 EUR) einzufordern. Es ist übel, dass eine solche international agierende Autovermietung dieses wunderbare Land mit ihren scheinbar betrügerischen Maschen schlecht macht und es scheint so, dass ich abgezockt wurde. Ich hoffe nicht, dass ich auf den eigentlich nur geblockten und dann von Alamo einbehaltenen 1.300,00 EUR sitzen bleibe. Ich werde in der kommenden Woche Strafanzeige gegen Alamo/Enterprise stellen!

Second time within a week of visiting the Enterprise branch in Aylesbury and I'm extremely happy with the level of service I received; in particular from Jacob. His professionalism amd knowledge was outstanding. I was shocked to learn he was a new member of staff!

Would definitely recommend Jacob and the team at Enterprise in Aylesbury.

Scammers Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Charged $1825/-

Scammers charged me $1825! Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a scam. They billed me for a tiny 1.5-inch scratch that was already there before I rented the car. When I picked up the car, they refused to give me the damage report. They insisted it would be emailed later and told me everything was fine. Fortunately, I recorded a video showing all the pre-existing damage.
When I returned the car, they didn't inspect it and hurried me to leave, promising I'd get the checkout report later. They returned my deposit after one day, but then, 16 days later, they suddenly charged me approximately 1650 Swiss francs ($1828). I filed a complaint with their help center, providing the video with location, date, and time stamps, but they haven't replied in over three weeks.
Avoid Enterprise Rent-A-Car at all costs. This isn't a legitimate business; it's a major scam.

Be Warned! Enterprise have taken £35 out off my account 2 weeks post rental for an apparent ‘traffic violation’ with no letter, email or phone call to me to say that the DVLA had recorded this happening. They set up the £35 as a reoccurring payment! Enterprise should not be taking money from an account without advising what for and the details of the incident. Customer service at head office at head office is appalling. Awaiting email from enterprise and DVLA for more information.

Enterprise Scam for getting an additional insurance on fully covered insurance. Besides, it took forever for them do logistics to release the car. If possible, please book something else.

Easy check in and pick up of my car. Very helpful employee talked me through the car controls and directed me out of the airport.
