Wonderful product and site. I purchased the 4 cylinder engine for my 9 year old grandson and me to assemble together. I purchased shipping insurance because of the long distance of origin. 2 parts were missing from the package and 1 screw did not fit the assembly. Neither of these affected the final display nor function of the engine. Tools needed to assemble are included. Instruction booklet is clear. All parts are cataloged, number and packaged for easy identification. I was pleasantly surprised at how well we were able to put it together. My grandson is ecstatic. He is now requesting this be our hobby and wants to tackle a steam engine next. I had my doubts initially about this site, but it seems to be legitimate and trustworthy. I will be purchasing from them again.

I purchased a small combustion engine from Enginediy. On the very first start-up, the starter and ignition module burned immediately.

I contacted the seller and asked for a full replacement under warranty. They first offered that I pay 50% of the cost, and after I refused, they completely stopped responding, ignoring all my follow-up emails.

This is clearly a manufacturing defect, and their customer service was extremely poor. I have now escalated the case to the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) to recover my money.

I cannot recommend this seller, as they failed to honor their warranty and completely disregarded me as a customer.

The 3 engines I ordered (1 for me and the other 2 as Christmas gifts for much younger (10/11 y/o boys) all arrived, very well packed and of a very good quality.
When they go together, I will know more but I don't envisage any issues as quality and instruction are above and beyond what I have seen from others.
My only concern was the courier here in Australia who decided it was easier to throw it over a 1.8metre (6 foot) high fence than to come back. This is beyond EngineDIY's control but they went above what I expected to help sort this out.

First purchase was fine. Second purchase they provided a fake tracking number and refuse to respond to any inquiries resulting in me filling a chargeback.

I have assembled four of these models in a month with my grandkids. They are all medal, precision crafted and a wonderful learning experience. Only one model was one part short out of thousands of pieces and they promptly shipped it to me. These are great models

I needed some parts for a miniature engine and enginediy were great people to deal with.Any questions and answers were efficiently handled .I would give this business a big thank you for providing parts i never thought available.

Bipolar Tesla coil took a bit to arrive, but it came in well boxed. Packaging very good, when final assembly is done, takes minutes, it definitely is desktop worthy! Works well, haven’t tried music though.
All in all, very pleased with company and product!

The product came on time I was very happy got it together still working on getting running not love to the product also ordered the wiring harness

Can’t fault these guys. I’m on my second engine, I’d be on my 10th if they were a little cheaper but I suppose you have to pay for quality.

A EngineDiy tem equipamentos para venda indicados de entrega imediata e outros que demoram algum tempo a serem enviados, ou porque estão em início de lançamento ou porque necessitam de preparação e ensaio em fábrica antes do envio.
No meu caso, logo após a compra eu perguntei quanto tempo iria demorar o envio e a resposta (do senhor Lucas) veio de imediato e com indicação precisa.
E logo que a locomotiva foi colocada no transportador, recebi uma informação do dia exato em que a iria receber, e recebi mesmo no dia exato indicado.
O tempo de entrega foi de 30 dias (18 dias para preparação e ensaio operacional e de qualidade mais 12 dias para viagem até Açores).
A EngineDiy é especializada neste tipo de equipamentos e presta uma assistência técnica e comercial impecáveis, além de escolher excelentes transportadores.
No meu caso foram envolvidas 3 companhias de transporte: YunExpress (até França), FedEx (França - Portugal) e Açorcargas (para Açores).
Não posso estar mais contente com o serviço prestado.
