Was about to shop on the website, and there was a pop-up offering 10% discount if you sign up for SMS alerts. After signing up, I didn't receive any discount code, so I tried emailing the company.

After a few days, I received notification from my mobile provider that I had been charged for the sign-up SMS as it is an international number, so I tried to call the website helpline, but the number doesn't seem to be in service.

If you click through some of the different pages (i.e. Shipping Information) there seems to be a lot of discrepancies, so I would suggest avoiding this website like the plague as it seems to be fraudulent.

Service here is very poor! I spent a lot of money on switches that didn’t work correctly!! And 3 years later still waiting for replacements! After writing email after email to them they continue to disregard my issues! Totally fed up with Ener-j.
My advice buy elsewhere preferably a show where you have a point on contact! The problem with internet based companies they can just ignore you!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Despite technical departments replies the smart plug insists on asking for WiFi and I only have mobile hotspot so it's theirs a hole in my bucket and the"Smart?plug isn't heading to the bin🤬

Waste of time and waste of my friends money!!!! After twelve months of emails back and forth this company has serious customer service and support issues, faulty goods ( ener j doorbell bought for me as a gift) emailed for help months passed and got no help, because I have PRINCIPLES I kept on emailing so this happens to no one else, numerous emails later and still no answer to the problems, I was offered £50 to spend at ener j????? Why the hell am I going to spend more money at a company that doesn't give a toss? Imagine explaining to my friend why I'm not using it but trying to sort it that was embarrassing, so I've had to spend £200plus on new eqpt and fitting, ener j asked " what can we do to make this right" give me a CCTV system that I can no longer afford due to your lack of help and your FAULTY GOODS, that could have been sorted with just one phone call! Today after moaning and emailing AGAIN , I was offered a " technical support engineer" and did I have the invoice 😡🤷 "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU IT WAS A GIFT" I said and twelve months later does anyone have their invoice? After this farce caused by ener j I'd advise you to avoid, obviously money and run with a no help policy , get some principles ener j you need them ( even gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them another two days to at least sort somethin out by 4pm today 15/22 imagine my surprise when I went on their review website and they shut at 4pm ! Not one of them contacted me earlier today they was shut obviously wanted to get to 4pm to shut me up absolutely disgusting way to treat people

If I could give this zero stars I would. Picture quality on cctv is great but lights are too sensitive and SD card drops
Offline randomly. I would not recommend this product or company. They’ve ignored my previous communication requesting assistance.

Not the best experience, tried to contact you regarding a broken product but no response

Bought 5 Alexa smart sockets and they are not SMART! Replaced 2 already as not only didn’t work but almost killed the peloton switching on and off! Down to three, 2 work but ceiling light socket keeps switching off and on all by itself. Would never purchase again, currently sat in the dark. These sockets are so annoying beyon belief. It’s like a disco at the moment. Don’t waste your money

I have contacted the company to ask re returning an item which isn't suitable. I have been ignored. I hadn't realised that this is not a UK company but one based in Hong Kong. My mistake. So beware particularly if you want to return something. I will not be ordering form this company again.

Doorbell, model no: DDV-202. I received this as a gift from my Natwest insurance policy. I have lost count of the time spent trying to get it to work- followed instructions, to the letter. Give up- totally frustrating 😤

Good items so far no hiccups with delivery. All good here just about to order more products.

I bought a Ener-j video doorbell approx 6 months ago and it stopped working. I received this email back …

Apologies for the inconvenience, Our doorbell is only IP44 rated. It's mainly for apartments and houses that have a little shelter for it. Damage due to water ingress is not covered under warranty so you will not be able to claim for a replacement.

I would like to add be careful in what you buy. Maybe I should have looked up IP44 before purchasing but I’m not an electrician so perhaps the model description should be clear to all

I have bought several items from Ener-J, the product quality has always been good, great value for money and good customer service.

We bought security camera's. They worked very well and were easy to install.
One of the cameras was faulty. The company replaces it and gave us a new one.
Thank you ener-J for providing amazing after sales service.

The cameras are good quality, however keep going offline at random times so not very constant. I’ve done everything it tells you to do to check why they are going offline but it still keeps happening.

Absolutely amazing customer services will be buying again. Highly recommended!!
