My experience with DOR-2-DOR has been great. Communication is always clear and the team is always available to answer questions.

We worked primarily with Michael, he provided us guidance interm of numbers and he worked with our budgets to make distribution possible.

Brilliant service

Brilliant service. They did a great job on the leaflet design, and the distribution was really well run. Not only was I invited to inspect it, but received regular updates including video on progress. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Delivering trash through your door unwelcomed.

This company dumps so many leaflets through my door and still has the cheek to include their own promotional material alongside it boasting about their trust pilot score.

Over the last few days i’ve received over 30 pieces of pure junk mail and each delivery has included this brands material.

Naturally it all goes straight in the bin.

At DOR-2-DOR, we do, of course, respect your right not to have unaddressed material through your letterbox. However, notices can sometimes be missed by ours or any delivery company, so we apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you. If you can give us your full address we can easily add you to our don't deliver list so you are never troubled by DOR-2-DOR again.

May we please take this opportunity to give you some vital information about what we do and our industry.

The European Union and the UK government want to see paper going into landfill reduced, and recycling increased and are keen for effective systems to be put in place to reduce the number of unwanted leaflets inserted in magazines sold at your local newsagents and leaflets and other material that's posted through your letterbox reduced and minimised.

With door drops, the main logistical problem is making sure our Post Person doesn't put the leaflet through the letterbox of the homes that don't want it. This may seem a simple problem to overcome; however, in practice, there are issues. We give our Post People a map of the delivery area showing streets for the drop area, and the deliverer happily goes on their round. The delivery process is entirely mechanical and automatic, and they sometimes have headphones on. If there is a notice by the letterbox, our Post Person may miss it and push the unwanted leaflet through the letterbox.

We use the recommended method from the Data & Marketing Association, which is to give the deliverer a list of addresses not to deliverer to, and we mark it on the map that they are following. This works well, but sometimes if the Post Person loses concentration for one reason or another, unwanted letterboxes can still get posted.

Now I guess you might say, well, why does junk mail have to exist at all? Why can't we ban it? The truth is it works, and over 90% of the population don't really mind getting the latest Pizza menu from their local restaurant or a special offer from a fitness club, or a message from a garden maintenance man plying his trade. The fact is that it works, and it especially works for local businesses.

It's a relatively low cost, so it is helping the local business community and creates jobs. More people working means more taxes collected, resulting in better hospitals and schools, infrastructure and social services etc. In fact, the DMA statistics show that the direct marketing industry injects over £45 billion annually into the national economy, and that's a lot of schools and hospitals etc. So it's a little bit of junk mail that perhaps you don't want can do a lot of good for many people.

Finally, some facts regarding paper and trees. Two Sides the print industry voice tells us that 94.4% of the paper we use comes from European forests and that these forests are growing by an area the size of Greece every year, that's 1.5 million football fields or four times the area of greater London and paper can easily be recycled. More trees for paper means less CO2, so it's positively affecting the environment.

More importantly, the environmental impact of electronic communication cannot be ignored. - The ICT industry accounts for approximately 2% of global emissions. Annually Global Cloud computing demands twice as much electricity as the entire United Kingdom. 9 million tonnes of e-waste from goods such as mobile phones, laptops and tablets is generated.

Print and paper can be a sustainable way to communicate; many consumers still value it, including the younger generations.

Outstanding service

Where do I begin?

Dor-2-Dor is located in UK, I wanted flyer distribution service all the way from Mongolia. It was 100% online dealing, there was trust issue with me at first. But These guys (West London Branch) did everything i asked from and overcame my expectation. Since I wasn't in UK, they made sure to send me proof every time they did the distribution. These guys did our printing and distribution, whatever we needed they provided it.

Manager (Pape) who handled our case was excellent, did his job at fullest, and distribution manager (Jimmy Peace) was so professional during 7 days of the service. These guys made everything super easy.

Leaflets distributed as promised

Our leaflets were delivered exactly as advertised because we saw customers coming because of the leaflets 🙌. We did face a minor hiccup one time, but their customer service team was quick to resolve it, and we really appreciated their help. Reliable and responsive service all the way!

Honest delivery service

First honest leaflet delivery service that I have dealt with with. I run a cleaning business in west London for the last 15 years and this is by far the most reliable distribution. I’ve spent some time with the owner Pape working on a targeted map specific to our needs.After delivery he sent complete tracking of every leaflet delivered direct to my email.The responses were doubled what I expected from competing firms. Does what it says on the tin, very professional.

What a bad company

What a bad company

It seems that the good reviews are not customers. We had 31,000 leaflets delivered to the Luton Branch (these are a franchise of Dor2Dor this was not advised when we signed the contract) and not 1 person in the area have said they have received these through there door. One of the reasons we went with this company is because the delivery is supposed to be tracked but when we asked for this information we was told it can not be given out, this is a service we pay for so why can we not obtain this information?
Trying to contact Sabir and there is no answer now to the point where he has blocked all of our numbers that we have tried to call him from.
We had no luck and thought we would contact the Headoffice where we have been told that they can not do anything as the Luton branch are their own company they do not care that people trading under there name are giving such poor customer service. Head office are VERY rude they do not let you speak they shout over you when you are telling them what is happening and they say this is NOTHING to do with them, and go back to the Luton branch.
We have been been going round and round in the same circles for a full year now and still no luck just getting shouted at by the 2 directors

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY ON LEAFLETS AS THEY DO NOT GET DELIVERED!

Daniel, just for the record your company is LCA Maintenence based in Bedford. We have spoken to two members of your company namely Claudia and Dovile but we have never spoken with you. We object to the comment about shouting over because that is not something we do our situation was explained calmly to your colleagues. There are always two sides to a complaint. This is ours.

You claim Saqib Mohammed at DOR-2-DOR Luton didn’t deliver your leaflets.

Saqib has been a highly trustworthy and professional franchisee of ours for 10 years.

I know for a fact that he does an excellent job delivering leaflets for his many clients.

I spoke to him about your complaint and he assured me he delivered all your 31,000 leaflets.

He spoke to your colleague - Office administrator Claudia Milazzo. Saqib explained to her that he had delivered all the leaflets and a good number of them were in fact delivered by himself and one of his long-serving Post-People. Saqib explained that to me also and I believe him. I have no reason not to. Saqib also told me that due to your complaint, he didn't charge you for the distribution but you failed to mention that fact in your review.

I also spoke at length to Claudia Milazzo she told me that she still didn't believe the leaflets were delivered and demanded that Saqib pay for the printing of the leaflets. I told her that Saqib was not prepared to do that. Claudia also told me that they had no response and also asked people they knew if they had received the leaflets they always got a negative answer.
Well if that is true I would ask how effective are your systems for monitoring response, could it be that they are at fault? Could the leaflet have driven people to view your website but not make an enquiry?

I can also tell you if you randomly ask someone if they have received your leaflet, you will always get a negative response you must at least show them the actual leaflet and also preferably the other leaflets that were delivered with them. It's also a fact that you may have been asking people who maybe know you but we're not in fact in the drop areas.

It is also a fact there are many reasons why you may not or may not get a response the main ones are as follows:
Design of the leaflet. (as the work was carried out over 6 months ago there are no examples of the leaflet so I can’t give any comments on the design suitability)
Targeting - choosing the demographics of the drop area is very important.
An offer - leaflets without a compelling call to action and offer will have less impact on the reader.
Demand for the service - are the householders you are delivering currently looking for the service you are offering? They may not need the service now but they will keep the leaflet and contact you maybe weeks or months in the future. This is one of the most important factors of a door-drop against other forms of advertising.

Finally, as the franchisor, we believe 100% in our loyal and long-serving franchisee Saqib Mohammad. We explained politely to your colleagues that we are unable to force him to pay to reprint your leaflets (he never charged you for the delivery). If you still feel aggrieved with your situation you need to take it to an independent 3rd party (perhaps the county court) they will decide who is right and who is wrong and give you a judgement.

Regarding your last comment written in block capitals. This is in fact the written form of shouting.

Win Enemies, Not Customers

They dropped their leaflets right below our “No advertising material”. Using these people will get you complaints and enemies rather than enquiries and customers.
Having seen the response to other similar reviews:
1) If the person delivering this didn’t see the sign, they aren’t being careful enough
2) Spare me the lecture on laws, landfill, the EU etc. Just stop leaving your rubbish on my property

Leaflet delivery in Bury and Bolton

I have been delivering leaflets for Dor-2-Dor for two years in Bury and Bolton covered by the franchise run by Mark Handel. I find leaflet delivery to be very therapeutic. It keeps me fit and mentally active. I always look for the most efficient route to complete any given round taking care not to
miss any letter boxes and doing my best to respect all “no junk mail” signs. I am not a mind reader though and would always recommend anyone not wanting to receive leaflets to prominently display a “no junk mail” sign ideally by the letter box and not in some obscure location. I get great satisfaction from seeing the track of a successfully completed round showing that I have done a good job.

regular work and payment

There is regular work, rarely there is no work available. Can deliver as
Much or as little without any pressure. Never have any problem with payments. Always on time

On the slight negative some maps deserve a bonus as in rural areas, because houses are more spread out, bigger and longer driveways so takes longer to deliver (Aston for example). Also on rare occasions have to deliver more than 4 leaflets per property which is bit more tricky
