Will definitely use again!
Having had some bad experiences recently with colour matching elsewhere, I can’t fault decorating centre online. I messaged them on Instagram as I wasn’t sure which paint types I needed, they were quick to respond and helpful. The paint arrived within 2 days with free delivery, the colour matches are perfect when compared to samples and the paint went on great, at half the cost of other popular brands. Will definitely use this company again☺️

Hit and miss colour match service
Great value and great customer service, but have had a few issues with the colour match service over the past couple of months.
In two instances this was fortunately just with tester pots - customer service were great in trying to help me resolve but ultimately they couldn't get the match within tolerance and gave me an exchange or refund.
Sadly, the more recent issue discovered a week before my builder is due to leave is a 5L tin of eggshell that is completely different not only to the original sample, but also to 5L of matt I bought in the same colour on the same order (currently being investigated by DCO).
Real shame as I thought this site was a great find and in some cases the matches have been spot on, but for one customer to have this many issues in a matter of months isn't a great advert for their colour match service.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience, we are sorry that our colour matching service did not meet your full expectations but pleased to hear that our customer service team were helpful in finding a suitable resolution.
With regards to your tester pot matches I can see we are investigating these with the manufacturers technical team as they recently changed some product formulations and so our colour matching formulas had to be updated to work in this new paint formula. We have stopped offering these shades in this product until a resolution and better match is found.
We are really proud of our colour matching service and therefore when something goes wrong we will aim to resolve it promptly and with minimal impact to our customers.
We identified the issue with the eggshell which has sadly been a keying error due to human error which I can see that we are currently liaising with you in regards to a resolution. I am confident that should you choose to give us another try your next experience will be 5 stars.

Amazing service I never know what I want but have a few ideas as a starting point and the team suggest the rest. This is about the 5th time I have asked for suggestions for a room and it always looks incredible and so impressed with the quality of the paints too. I love the insta page for ideas

Damages for the THIRD time in succession!
For the THIRD time in succession DCO delivered damaged tins of paint. I'd almost decided to order from another company but decided to give DCO one last try. Sadly, they failed yet again.
Either they need to improve their packaging or have do something about their delivery service.
I doubt I'll order from DCO again. Damages happen but 3 times in a row suggests a fundamental problem that they aren't fixing.
I used to recommend them to friends & family but can no longer do this.

Our team do all they can to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner with maximum protection, however, once the parcel has left our warehouse our control ends there. We are a small business so sadly don't have the facility to have an in house delivery team where we can continue our high standard of service, so this part of the process is outsourced to a courier. While they are the highest rated delivery company in the UK, it is still very disappointing to hear they have let us down on this occasion by mishandling the parcels on several occasions.
We are always working on improving our packaging and we recently revamped this at the end of 2023 to ensure we are doing all we can to ensure that our paint arrives at its final destination in perfect condition. We put our packaging through thorough testing, including drop tests while packed with paint and found that the packaging can withstand its fair share of mishandling.
Complaints of this nature are unavoidable while we outsource this service but they are minimal, but we take every piece of feedback seriously and ensure that these are logged with any necessary parties to ensure we can offer the best possible service. Apologies again that your experience with DCO has not been a positive one.
