We take great pride in supplying roses of the highest quality. If any roses are damaged on receipt or fail to grow when our planting guidelines are followed, we will replace them free of charge.

Munstead Wood: US pre-orders only.
Received a mail shot regarding bare root roses but not, unfortunately, for Munstead Wood. This rose was released in limited quantities earlier this year and sold out very quickly. I was disappointed to learn (via various online platforms) that US customers have been able to place pre-orders for 2027, but we in the UK have not, nor is it certain that DA will even have any stocks for the UK market this Autumn. How disappointing that DA appears to be prioritising the US market over the British one, especially since they are headquartered in Shropshire.

I am very sorry for the disappointment caused by the availability of Munstead Wood and for any impression that we are prioritising our US customers over those in the UK. We completely understand your frustration, particularly after seeing pre-orders being offered in the US.
The reason for the difference in availability is that Munstead Wood has never been retired from our US range, as it is a particularly well-suited and reliable grower in the US climate. As a result, it is offered there each year and pre-orders can be taken in advance.
The situation is different here in the UK, where Munstead Wood was released in limited quantities earlier this year and sold out very quickly. We appreciate how disappointing this must be, especially when you have been hoping to purchase the rose and have seen availability advertised elsewhere.
We are very sorry that we were unable to offer you the opportunity to purchase Munstead Wood at the same time as our US customers. We certainly do not wish to give the impression that our UK customers are any less important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

Excellent afternoon tea.
Came for afternoon tea which was excellent. Lovely staff, food and surroundings. Enjoyed the rose gardens, good to see the roses in situ so you see the true colours etc, and did buy a shrub rose because of this. Plus ordered a standard rise when I got home.

I would buy from David Austin again
The two roses came well packaged. One was in flower and both roses were ready to plant and good quality. They have taken well in the garden and already showing growth. Very pleased!!
