I used my Daiwa massage chair for a few months with no problem. However, as time went by, the force and pressure of the different mechanisms got harder and stronger. At one point, the chair latched onto my heel and squeezed painfully tight. I couldn't remove my foot and the pain was unbearable. I couldn't walk for days. I saw a doctor to insure nothing was broken and discovered I just had a deep contusion-she called it a bone bruise. I contacted Daiwa. They asked for proof of the incident, which I forwarded to them. Charles Ishida assured me Daiwa/Jaclean would take care of the problem. That was 6 months ago. I have called and emailed more than a dozen times. My calls and emails aren't answered. At this point, I have to sit on a pillow with a blanket protecting my neck and head, and my feet out of the foot slots. It's basically worthless to me.

I want to share my experience with Daiwa's customer service so potential buyers know what to expect.

We purchased a Daiwa massage chair for $8,000. Four years later, we needed it moved and I clearly explained when scheduling service that the chair would need to be disassembled to fit through the doorway. I agreed to the $750 service charge.

The technicians arrived, removed two panels in about 30 minutes, then left without completing the job. The chair still would not fit through the door. When I contacted them immediately and asked them to return and finish the work, they refused and directed me to customer service.

Despite accomplishing nothing, Daiwa charged the full $750 fee. Paying that amount for an unsuccessful service call was frustrating, especially when there was no effort to resolve the issue.

Most disappointing was the lack of accountability and customer support. After investing in what is marketed as a premium product, I expected professionalism and competence. Instead, I was left with an unfinished job, a large bill, and no meaningful assistance.

Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering a Daiwa massage chair to carefully evaluate the company's service and support before making a purchase.

Installers took care not to damage anything, very professional and answered any questions. Would recommend to friends

Sale representative informed me during the sales process that Daiwa had moving services as I was in the process of building a new house. Bought the chair. Now less than a year later, I call the company to schedule a move and find out that they do not offer moving services in my state. Now I have no way of retrieving the chair. They tell me to reach out to my service representative but he does not return phone calls or emails. Stay away from this company. Once they make the sale they no longer care. I wasted thousands of dollars on a chair that I cannot even retrieve.

I am giving in 2 stars just because when I do get to use it, it's great!

First, I initially wasn't going to purchase because I knew I had a move coming up, but guess what, they said they will come out for the lifetime of the ownership and move it FOR YOU when you move so that their product doesn't break. Guess what didn't happen!? I called 30 days in advance to schedule the move and , nope, hundreds of dollars to move. We'll, I had to move it anyways so I would have to suck it up and pay to move it so I can enjoy it. I have multiple small pets so I can not use it in main living areas so they don't get squished under the machine when it goes to zero gravity. Next, they don't answer the calls and the various messages I have left have yet to get a response. So here I have an expensive chair sitting right inside my front door that I can't use without wrangling up the pets and locking them in a room. I picked out a specific house that had enough room to have it in my bedroom. This is a terrible scamming business practice if you lie to your clients just to get the sale. If you think their customer service staff is ever going to call you back or help you, you are so wrong. I don't ever regret my purchases except this one. I would never do this again and it was a very expensive mistake to not look in to all of the reviews before being scammed in to buying something they literally dump at your house and disappear. For the price they sell these at, you would think they could afford to notch customer service. Run from them, don't walk, RUN!

THE PURCHASE OF THIS MASSAGE CHAIR WAS THE BEST PURCHASE I COULD HAVE MADE IN MY LIFE. THE SERVICE HAS BEEN AWESOME HOWEVER ONLY USED IT ONE TIME. STAFF WAS PROFESSIONAL AND HELP ME TO MAKE THIS DECISION. THEY ALWAYS ANSWER THE PHONE AND OR GET BACK TO ME QUICKLY. EVERYONE DESERVES THIS ITEM IN THEIR HOUSEHOLD. JUST WONDERFUL........ Namdar was in Sam's club offered us the opportunity to experience the chair. We fell in love with a chair and decided to purchase one. He was very kind and very friendly. He was a pleasure to be around and showed great concern for our happiness and comfort in the chair. He was very honest and that was very impressive. He was also very knowledgeable about the chair and it's benefits.
Josue and Andres made a great delivery team. Josue set the chair up perfectly and showed us everything we need to know about the chair. He was very friendly and Very professional.

Chair worked great the first few times but now it overheats after a few minutes and only the foot massager and air bags work.

I have used their contact link twice. No response, including the discount offer.
Actually in the market to purchase but now leary of reliability.

I have Daiwa Supreme Hybrid Plus chair that’s been making a ticking annoying sound. John (Technician) drove from Gardena California to isolate and diagnose the problem. He explained with ease what was happening specifically throughout the process on pointing areas of elimination. Problem was fixed and I was so impressed and happy with his kindness and professionalism.

I hope Daiwa company knows how fortunate they are to have a great employee (Tech) such as John.

I know John will continue to help service the needs of customers and represent the Daiwa family to his best ability while taking great pride of the work he does.

Also, want to give thanks from the entire Daiwa team. The entire support was top shelf service.

Chairs are fantastic and most importantly the noise level is low, give them a shot

The representative was fairly thorough about letting me experience the different modes of two massage chairs. Overall, I liked the product, only didn’t feel I could hit or target my specific area where I’m currently having trouble.

Amazing easy to use and great quality for the time! Definitely is on the list of items for a must have home.
