I had ReLEx SMILE treatment with Mr Gormley a week ago and I am so happy with the outcome!
The whole experience from consultation to the surgery and the aftercare have all been fantastic.

Outstanding service and outstanding result. I cannot over emphasise how happy I am with my lens replacement surgery carried out in early June 2021. Very short sighted, lifetime of contact lenses and an increasing number of other eye issues as I hit my fifties - all options fully explained - lens replacement surgery chosen and carried out quickly and painlessly. Right eye one Thursday, left eye the next Thursday. I am still enjoying waking up and actually being able to see! It’s like a miracle.

I was very very short sighted and had astigmatism and I had worn glasses and contact lenses for almost 60 years. James carried out bilateral cataract surgery using replacement toric lenses in early June.

I had SMILE Lazer Eye Surgery and from my initial appointment to surgery day and since they have explained every step, answered every question and I have always felt very at ease with all the team. I recently had presbyopia treatment for my eyes, if you listen to most people they are scared, worried about anything to do with eye surgery, i can say that Mr. Ball and his whole team are so very helpful insightful and technically brilliant. From my first meeting with them i was convinced that this is what i wanted, i cannot shout loud enough on every aspect of the proceedure. This is really life changing in so many respects. I have recently had bilateral cataract surgery and tonic lens replacements.
From the first consultation Mr Jack Gormley and all the staff have been helpful, understanding explaining everything in detail and provided a reassuring and professional service.
The result is outstanding. Although the procedures were a little uncomfortable there was no pain. I could see clearly with both eyes within 24 hours of the procedures and now have excellent long distance vision and a reading prescription of -1.25. Which means I am virtually glasses free after 47 years of wearing glasses.

I had a consultation at Custom Vision Clinic with Mr James Ball for a cataract problem in my right eye following a referral from Vision Express. The surgery was undertaken by Mr Ball at Nuffield Hospital in Leeds and it was quick and painless. My eye sight now is fantastic. The follow ups with optometrist, Gurpal Jutla, were also excellent. Very nice environment with very modern equipment. I would highly recommend this team.

Great option for Keratoconus consultation. Good advice and no push for unnecessary treatment. Actually advised that I be monitored by NHS as further treatment wasn't needed. Would definitely recommend.

Mr Ball and his team are fantastic. Everyone is really friendly and professional and made me feel at ease with having laser eye surgery (a potentially quite daunting experience otherwise).
