Fabulous house in the middle of town
Beautiful stylish house lots of original features mixed perfectly with modern fixtures. It has been finished to a very high degree and lots of added extras to make your stay there very comfortable. Central location only a few steps away from wine bars restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay at Egerton House.

Romantic getaway for my gfs birthday
Very helpful and informative over the phone. Owners were very polite and made us feel welcome, would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway. Hot tub was perfect and the cabin exceeded my expectations, was a really nice experience.

Great location and lovely cottage
Great location and lovely cottage and thoroughly deserves 5 stars.
My only suggestion is to leave instructions for the heating system as this was on a schedule set on holiday mode I.e 7 degrees.
I am familiar with Hive so was able to manually override.

Lovely home in a pleasant surroundings. Quality furnishings and quiet for relaxing.
Great access to nearby train station and motorway.

A breath of fresh air to holiday cottages
Having owned holiday cottages for over 30 years we have witnessed the growth of to many giant faceless companies to the detriment of guests and owners alike.
The truly independent ‘Cumbrian Cottage Holidays’ is a like a breath of fresh to the industry.
No queuing for hrs on annoying calls, no frustrating menu systems and no totally unhelpful ‘chat bots’ that serve nobody.
Moving holiday letting agents is always a big step - but we have honestly never looked back.
David, Julia, Gail and the rest of the team are always on hand to help both guests and owners alike. Their depth of experience is second to none.
Really could not rate highly enough.
Bookings are up and blood pressure is down!

Gorgeous lake views
Beautiful, well maintained property with a well equipped kitchen. The property has been skilfully modernised and tastefully decorated. The layout was super with a double bedroom en-suite, twin bedroom and family bathroom downstairs plus the same upstairs. Gorgeous views from the living spaces and upstairs bedrooms. Well located to access Glenridding, Pooley Bridge and stumbling distance from an excellent pub.
