This has got to be the absolute worst customer service ever! I don't see how they are still in business! I called for 3 days straight to cancel an order that I had made 3 weeks ago. Each phone call was an hour long and my phone mystery drops the call. Each time!!?? Coincidence!!?? Was never even informed that the part was on backorder! It never showed online. I would have never even placed the order! The ONLY way to cancel according to Cub Cadet is to call that one bogus number that nobody answers! You can't even get a secondary number, email, anything!!??? Now I guess I'll have to wait until the part comes in, send it back, and get charged a restocking fee!!?? And that's only if I can reach a human to start the refund process! Unbelievable!!! Where it the BBB(better business bureau) when you need them!!!????

Cub Cadet Customer Service is the worse I have seen. I have tried to get an update on a part ordered weeks ago and so far, I have spect over on hour waiting on the call for someone to pick up and help. Thier website is the same way. I started a Live chat and it just states we're transferring your chat to another agent. I will never buy another Cub Cadet Product AGAIN!!
I was approved for financing on a mower…
I was approved for financing on a mower and attachments. I never received the order. I called and Cub Cadet said the financing agency canceled the order. I never received anything regarding this. I called the financing company and they said they have already paid Cub Cadet. I cannot get the credit taken off and I cannot get my order. I am stuck in some weird loop and neither Cub Cadet nor the financing company wants to take care of it and won't talk with each other. I would never use either of them again. This is the worst experience I have ever had with financing!
Brand new Cub LT42XT
Brand new Cub LT42XT. Second time used belt pops off. Put it back on twice before lawn finished. Took to authorized service center. They put on a new belt. Next time I used it, belt popped off again. Took it ot another authorized service center. They replaced the belt and said nothing was wrong. I should have cried lemmon law then. Belt continues to pop off and they say nothing is wrong with it. I have learned to remove the deck, put the belt back on and continue cutting grass. Hoping for a recall or factory update. Been on hold listening to music for 40 minutes now.
Worst Customer Service
If I could give negative stars I would. Customer Service is awful. I ordered a a ZT42 and received no email, did online financing as week and got confirmation of that. I called (60 min wait time) a day later to check status of my order since I received no confirmation of my actual order from Cub Cadet, I was told that I would receive an email when it shipped and I should receive the mower in 5-8 days. I waited two days and still no email or change to order status. I called again ( 60+ min wait time) and was told that my order is back ordered. I then request to cancel the order, I was informed that I had to call a different number to cancel back ordered items. So I received that number from customer service and called and again, a 60+ min wait time. The guy cancelled it and I had to request an email of confirmation, which he sent . This was on May 1st, 2024. 7 days later I get a call from XPO Logistics asking if I have a forklift so I can unload my mower at my house. They shipped my mower on May 3rd. I told XPO I cancelled that order and do not deliver it and send it back. I'm currently on the phone with cub cadet. Waited 45 min to explain the situation, he transfers me to someone who can help..... I've now been on hold for 1.5 hours. What a terribly ran company. From the sounds of the other reviews the product isn't any better than the service.
Purchased the XT1 - 20+ days not Delivered. Did not honor reduced price on website - 30-60 minute hold times Customer Service
Purchased the XT1 from the Cub Cadet website on 4/3. Delivery window 5-7 days. Called customer service on 4/18. Informed they had not processed the order because the warehouse they sent the order to didn't have any in stock. If I hadn't called they would not have transferred my order to a different warehouse which had the sku# in stock further delaying delivery. Each time I called and/or online chatted with customer support I was on hold for 35-60 minutes per attempt. The customer service reps were very good. On 4/23 I went on the Cub Cadet website and noticed that the price had dropped from $2,299 to $2,049. I called customer support to request a credit for the difference since I had not received the lawn tractor and I had purchased the tractor less than 30 days prior. 45 minutes on hold with CS to get transferred for additional 30 minutes to be told that Cub Cadet would not honor the new price. I am supposed to receive my tractor later this week with 1st payment due on the 3rd.. This has been an exceptionally poor experience that I will not replicate in the future. I will definitely not suggest to anyone to do business with Cub Cadet. Do Better!

It’s been 8 days with open order on part from cub cadet. Can’t get agent through chat or phone. They suck. Made complaint to BBB. Answer your damn phones.
Six years old costing too much to repair !
Six years old , it managed ok until the warranty ran out ,Now Ive spent hundreds of pounds on replacing the control panel twice now on my third one . spent nearly as much on repair as it was to buy new . My advice .DONT BUY !! Im looking for and old Wheel Horse , it has NO ELECTRONICS

DONT BUY bought a rider mower after 2 hours it made an awful noise shut it off waited tried to start again and it wouldn't move. Well it ended up in the repair shop it's been 3 weeks waiting for a new transmission. Thats right a brand new mower and it needs a new transmission. This was bought for a Christmas present for my husband. It's now spring and grass is growing like crazy and no mower. He's 74 years old had 2 strokes and he's out there trying to use a push mower on over an acres of lawn. I tried calling cub cadet to ask when will the repair people get the transmission. I was on hold 33 minutes hung up called again and again and I've been on hold for so long each time. Maybe they're busy with other customers who bought cub cadet and wish they didn't. If they don't want to send a new transmission then give us a new mower before my husband has another stroke ( he's had 2 already). Wish I would have listened to people when they said stay clear if cub cadet they've gone downhill and equipment is not reliable. Well been on hold while writing this review and it's now 27 minutes andc56 seconds and still on hold again. Just listen to the reviews and if your smart you won't buy a cub cadet or for that matter anything they make.

Mower worked great for 175 hours then the deck completely broke, have been looking For a replacement for two years, finally got the truth out of a dealer, which is they don’t make replacement decks in hopes that you buy a whole new lawnmower. What a scam. DO NOT BUY!
Cub cadet, wrong move
I developed a problem with Cub early on. Before my first payment actually. Trying to resolve it further lowered my satisfaction with the card. It was difficult getting any support and when I eventually did they were dismissive. I scheduled my first payment the month before it was due. They pulled the payment early which wasn't a huge deal; my complaint is not about money even though it should be. My first payment hasn't come due yet but as they pulled a payment early, they reduced my line by $3000 and reported the reduction. They were gracious enough to have me fill out paperwork to dispute the problem but hindsight being what it is, this venture was a mistake. I would recommend avoiding a purchase through cub cadet at any cost.
Cub cadet vibration
I bought a cub cadet zero turn from Home depot very simple the only problem is they leave the mowers outside.The mowers sit in the raine and sun for months and start to rust.The problem with the mower is when you turn on the cutting blades it begins to vibrate so bad it feels like it's going to fall apart.I went on line and found out I'm not the only one that is having this problem you can look it up on YouTube. The mower is great built strong and easy to remove deck .I should not have to work on a brand new mower to stop the vibration. The deck has a bad pully design. On YouTube the company rep was saying the one that came back for that problem was a one off but it's not their are many including mine.I can't send it in for repair because I live in south Florida and my grass grows year round and I can't wait months for them to figure this out.With a vibration this bad it's going to start breaking things .Thanks cub cadet.
I purchased my Cub Cadet on January 6
I purchased my Cub Cadet on January 6, 2024. I have used it 1 time. I went to use it the second time and it would not start. It is flashing low battery on the screen. I am assuming it is a bad battery, as I am not mechanically inclined. I was given a case number from the warranty department and I was given a store to call. I was told by that store they do not handle warranty service. I called another dealer and I was told that typically batteries are not covered under warranty but for $2.50 a mile ( I am 40 miles from this shop and it is the closest) I can have them pick it up and diagnose the problem. DO NOT BUY A CLUB CADET!! I would return it except that I was 6 days past the 30 days when I reported the issue!!

Good tractor - very poor tires.
Bought a new XT-1 Enduro LT46. The tractor seems to be good - no complaints after 4 hours. However, the tires are very poor. Only 2 ply and suitable only for well established, smooth lawns, not for any pasture of similar use. First time out had one flat on front and one on rear (no nails or similar). Had them repaired and second time out had another front flat. I am replacing both front tires with 4-ply which should have come standard in the first place.

Disappointed with Customer Service at Cub Cadet
Ordered a part from cub cadet on 5-30-2023, no information on when the part (they had 20) will be shipped. Called on 6-5-2023, tried to get information and placed on hold for 50 minutes waiting for next available agent. Then told customer service department is closed to call back during normal hours. It was during normal hours. Also tried chat with customer service and could not get past the automated response. Customer Service needs staff replacement!
Cub Cadet Customer Service NIGHTMARE
Cub Cadet mower customer service is horrendous! Excel should be ashamed of the way they conduct their warranty service and it needs reorganized from scratch. I bought a battery operated/ 56V electric 42 inch rider and have called Cub Cadet/MTD customer service 17 times in 2 months wait on hold 45 min to be hung up on almost every time then what the customer service warranty rep says is useless because they don't follow up or do what they say and then someone else changes everything over and over dropping the ball with a attitude after you spend half a day on hold trying to talk to a customer service rep! If somebody treated them the same way they treat their customers they might understand how disrespectful and unprofessional their company does business! Rob and Jacob are hateful and have really screwed me around with a poor attitude. Even their authorized warranty service providers say they are a hot mess while laughing about how they are chasing customers away with the same sentiment over and over...I don't know how much longer they can stay in business conducting such inept warranty support. It is beyond words that their right hand never knows what the left hand has said or is doing...run from anything Excel Stanley Decker or MTD produces because they have a don't give a darn attitude without any pride or shame on maybe the most awful customer service that I have experienced from any American company period--just beyond even putting it in the context of words!
RUN from them because your nightmare will start and continue until you rid yourself of the games that persist as business as usual with a saga like the Jerry Springer show....Ridiculous!
