I will never pay money for cub cadet products in the future. I paid a lot of money for a lawn tractor and a leaf vacuum. My starter went out and I ordered a replacement on April 10th. Jones 28th I have not received the part I ordered. You call to check your order and you are on hold for over an hour just to be lied to. Total garbage company. Your call is important for 1.5 hours of redundant crap music while on hold is a struggle session in my opinion. Cub cadet surrounded by weeds while this garbage company ignores my order for months is a joke. Do not buy cub cadet.
Cub Cadet parts
I used the Cub Cadet official web site to buy blades for my XT1 50 inch mower deck. They happily took my money but did not indicate they had none in stock. So 2 weeks later I go to the official web site and my PO is "open". Used their chat to talk to a service rep. At his point I was informed that the blades were back ordered and would not ship until 3 July. Called today to find out the status of the order and had to wait on hold for over 1/2 hour. When I finally got through to the CS rep I was told the blades are still back ordered and would not ship until 10 July. Asked to talk to the manager and was put on hold. DON'T order any parts from this MTD company! Poor service, poor CS, they took my money under false pretenses! Only thing I got out of dealing with them was CS rep apology after apology. My mower is still not operational.

The cub cadet xt1 model 13aka9ct596 as a carburetor problem the chock spring will break and the electric fuel shut off dose not work all the time it will fill the cylinder full off gas then leak out the carb by the hot muffler I had to put a fuel shut valve in line to fix this problem NOT GOOD
Cub Cadet Lemon
Purchased a brand new $4700 riding mower in May 2024. As of today the dealer has had it longer than I have owned it. I have mowed with it 3 times since purchasing and had to take it back for repairs. They have replaced numerous parts on it and are still waiting for more parts.
Owned my previous Cub Cased mower for over 9 yrs and loved it.
At this point I have asked to either get another mower or refund me my money. All I get, is the run around from Cub Cadet.
Definitely don’t recommend anyone purchasing one. Why would anyone spend that kind of money when the product is obviously defective.

Bought a Cub Cadet xt1 on May 29th and still haven't been able to use the more they unloaded it from the trailer and something on the steering broke the technician said he would try to find the part and come and fix it well three weeks later I'm still without a more never ever buy a Cub Cadet you cannot get a hold of anyone at customer service
No idea when mulching blades are conming
Order mulching blades on May 20th and now it is June 11th. Supposedly only supposed to take 3 to 5 days to ship. Tried calling and am put on hold for a long time and never get an answer. Will never order from their website again.

Hovedprint i stykker efter 3 sæsoner (15 måneder). Pris robot 21.000kr inkl opsætning. Reparation af hovedprint og GSM modul 12.000kr. Deres support kan overhovedet ikke hjælpe. De siger bare “Det lyder mærkeligt” når man beskriver udfordringen. De vil udelukkende kommunikere pr mail, ingen telefon. De afviser ALT selvom man har bevis på, at fx GSM modul er gået i stykker under garanti. KØB ALDRIG CUB CADET!!

Just got off being on hold for the 2nd time for 1hr 10 mins contracting cub cadet. First time I was on hold for 1 hr 2 mins. All I am trying to get is an honest answer about when my bagger I ordered May 16th for the LT 46 I purchased new. I was told the first time I called it would arrive 3-5 days after May 27th.... Surprise.....No bagger... I then called today, June 7th. Now I am told my bagger will not be here until after June 12th, after being on hold for 1 hr 10 mins. Not to mention my C.C. has had the amount from cub cadet charged for the bagger 4 times now...Of course the person I spoke with today has no idea how this could have happened. But, apparently this is ok, I am just a VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. My suggestion would be to future buyers is to buy JOHN DEERE. where most places you have an actual Dealer that you can go to and actually order parts from..
Poor Customer service and communication
Ordered a part. No communication after order. Finally, was able to communicate via chat after 11 days. Said part had just come in and would be shipped in a couple days. So, will be over 2 weeks for a part and would not even expedite the shipping. Poor communication and customer service. Last time for me.
Would not honor warranty
Cub cadet just gets funnier and funnier. I've had problems with a zt1 ultima that I bought brand new what was under warranty had problems carried at the dealer dealer basically just held it till the warranty run out then told me to come and get it unfixed Cub cadet don't want to do nothing. They didn't like my reviews so they sent me a case number and a phone number I call the phone number put in the case number and that don't do nothing except for send me to look up parts. I'm fixing to take this lawn mower put it on my trailer right lemon across it big letters front back and sideways. I'm going to print up thousands of pamphlets that list the whole problem with Cub cadet and what's wrong with this mower and what they wouldn't do. And it's not just going to list Cub cadet it's going to list all of their affiliates. They didn't want to replace a $600 drive motor while it was still under warranty it's fixing to cost Cub cadet thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars. I've got nothing else to do I'm retired I'm fixing to do a Cub cadet a nightmare
Not Good
Everything everyone is saying below this is correct. I ordered a bagging system for my mower. I received no confirmation order. I used their website chat a day after ordering, and did chat with someone. They then emailed me a snip/screenshot of my order. 3 days later, I go online to track the stauts of my order, and the tracking system says "oops, something went wrong". Now, I can't chat online with anyone, and no answering of phone calls. Not good
It's a piece of junk
It's a piece of junk. The starter was bad from the get go. It reeks of gas. Now it's leaking oil. I've spent hundreds on repairs. It's broken more than it works. . Absolute garbage.

I got an LT50 from Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and it was missing a part when delivered. Home Depot told me I had to go through Cub Cadet to replace the part or I could return the mower. 45 minutes on hold the first time to be told "this is a level 2 customer service issue, here is their number." Two entire 45 minute lunch breaks and now 40 minutes into the third try with no answer. If I hit the hour mark today I am hanging up and calling Home Depot to initiate a return. I'd rather mow my land with a push mower than give my money to company who cares this little about customer service.

I wish I had read the reviews regarding Cub cadets customer service before purchasing my zero turn mower. I have tried for two days straight to reach an actual person after I held for 30 minutes for even a chat. I agree hands down worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. If you cannot get your customer service right.....what else are you not focusing your attention on as a company?

If you chat with them and they don't have an answer they will hang up on you. If you call them, they don't answer. I am not exaggerating, I have never experienced anything like it. I was trying to buy a lawn tractor and there is no help. I ended up buying a Husqvarna. If they cannot help you with sales, I cannot even imagine how it would be if I need parts.
Such a shady company
Such a shady company. I have been trying to return an item which was purchased through their website. There is NO click-through in their support chat about returns. There is a generic text blurb about returns on their Customer Support page, which states to call their customer service telephone number. When you call it, there is no prompt for returns, and sends you down a path that has nothing to do with returns. You end up on the support line for more than 2 hours at a time. It has gotten to the point I want to return my entire zero turn.

I own a built by cub cadet craftsman zero turn 54” ride on mower. This is the second time I have tried to order replacement parts directly from cub cadet. The first time went ok, this second time has been anything but okay! I b place an order for a deck belt and a drive belt both items were in stock. I immediately received an email confirming the order. Exactly one week later no word from them so I called. I was put on hold waiting to speak to a representative and waited for over two hours, seriously! All the rep could tell was that the items were indeed in stock and that my order was being processed. Several days later I tried their “live chat” because I still had no contact from them. Same situation with live chat as the call. I was left for 30 minutes waiting on the rep and nothing. I will never do business with this company ever again! They suck.
