J'ai acheté il y a trois ans environ un "cub cadet" tondeuse auto-portée LR2 NR76 (2450,04 euros) le 31/07/2023. Suite à plusieurs ennuis techniques durant ces trois saisons de coupe j'ai fait appel aux services d'abord garantie , puis après vente pour solutionner les sujets. Embrouilles sur embrouilles pour ne pas intervenir gratuitement ou expertiser le pourquoi de tous ces ennuis. Alors je vous décrit les déboires sur ce matériel réputé fiable comme suit:
-Casse de l'axe qui descend le plateau ( suous garantie) levier 647-05028, sans raison?
-fissure sur le dessus du panier de récupération automatique de l'herbe coupée(matière plastique trop fine )?
- fissure sur le coté du carter plastique sans raison apparente?
Donc le cub cadet s'auto-détruit.
J'ai envoyé plusieurs emails pour connaître leurs positions et solutions au service après vente dont la structure est très opaque, voir inaccessible, et à part une réponse visiblement fait par l'AI je n'ai jamais eu de réponses de cette société.
Je peux envoyer des photos qui ont été envoyées à Cub Cadet, pour étayer mes propos.
Si j'ai un conseil d'ami pour ceux qui auront la chance de me lire - fuyez cette marque .

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased what was supposed to be Cub Cadets top of the line self propelled mower . I took the best of care of my mower determined to make it last a life time. Eight years after my purchased I decided to replace the worn out tires . To my Horror I discovered the tires were no longer available and my top of the line mower became useless and is now covered in spider webbs and dust . So BUYER BEWARE OF CUB CADET.

I do believe this is the worst…
I do believe this is the worst snowblower I’ve ever had. tried to start it would not run called technical support. They told me that it probably was the carburetor and I can’t leave gas in it for more than 30 days. Never have had that problem before they told me I need to clean the carburetor out, which is quite a bit to take apart, and everything is plastic. I would never recommend the snowblower to anyone very disappointed. Bought it at Home Depot. I usually have good luck with Homedepot products.
Cub Cadet
Cub Cadet, model 31AH75sx710 apparently part of Black & Decker, etc… Is a well known brand in US and has many great products. We bought a Cub Cadet Snow Thrower in 2016 for $1600 and used it in mild winters pretty much about 7 times. This year after going about 20 feet the plastic Track Wheels, that make the track belt, both cracked and made the unit useless!
On close examination, the metal center splines only go in about 1 inch of the front of the wheel. This front of the wheel is only strengthened by a relatively thin layer of plastic and the spline hould have gone all the way through the 3.5 inch center of the wheel. Or the whole wheel should have been made of steel or aluminum. Especially since the bottom skid plate of the track belt should have been made of wheels, not a high friction plastic.
I punched new tack wheels at $51 each and after 2 hours of labor, installed them. No help from Cub Cadet could be found.
On the phone later, a Cub Cadet representative said they have no way of knowing if the new track wheels are any better and there was no one I could talk to about it.
Pretty sad, for a now $2600 unit!
Hey Cub Cadet, just process my refund already
I have been going back and forth with Cub Cadet over a refund for a returned part. Part was received back to CC in August but still no refund. They say 2-3 billing cycles and that they have a backlog of returns. I think they hope that customers forget or die and therefor will never get their refund. Hey Cub Cadet - try doing business the real way - take an example from Chewy.com
I bought a belt for our zero-turn mower…
I bought a belt for our zero-turn mower in July, (using their guidelines on which one I needed.)received it but it was too short. Returned (with authorization) in July and it is now November and I still haven't got my refund!
Unknown deck vibration
Dropped off my Cub Rider to local Cubs service to determine where vibration related to the mowing deck was coming from when blades are engaged. After a week, service stated it was just the main belt. Once returned, the problem still remains.
I called once at home, complained but that didn’t do any good. I was charged 171.00 for changing a belt.
It appears the vibration relates to the idler pulley that I pointed out when originally dropped off for the service. I’m planning on changing it myself at 70 years young.

What custmer service?
The Cub Cadet Ultima Series ZTS1 has a serious steering gear issue! When you contact customer service, they make sure you cannot resolve using chat where there is a record of what is being said. They make you call so there is no written record of them telling you, "too bad, so sad".
Horrible company
After 24.5 hours on it the cylinder head cracked, the intake valve broke and cub cadet will not warranty anything. NEVER BUY A CUB CADET!! Customer service is horrible. Now I'm told my motor is discontinued. Again, NEVER BUY A CUB CADET
Disappointed in Quality and Support
I purchased a Cub Cadet zero-turn mower expecting reliable performance and solid customer service. Instead, I’ve had nothing but issues. The build quality is extremely poor—components fail far sooner than they should on a mower in this price range.
Worse than the mower issues is the customer support. The warranty seems meaningless, as the company doesn’t stand behind their equipment. I was met with endless delays and finger-pointing. The call center is clearly outsourced and offers no real help or accountability.
If you’re considering Cub Cadet, I strongly suggest looking at other brands that actually support their customers. I’ll never buy from them again.
A plastic toy dressed as a military vehicle
I bought a Zero Turn X-Force mower about seven years ago. In five years I had only used it for 100 hours when the left gearbox failed. Yes, I know the Warranty was only for a year, but when you spend £7000 on a mower you'd expect a little consideration. But no... Neither the UK Agent or the US manufacturer are interested. I've tried being reasonable and I've told them I'm going to publish my opinions on every social media platform. They're just not interested. If you are considering a mower, please take this advice; stay away from this brand. The build is substandard and there will be no customer support when it goes wrong.

This company is ran by idiots . They have no clue about customer service . They will do anything to get out of taking of the customer . I bought a part online because my local store didn’t have it in stock . And then they refused to take it back with a receipt and now want to charge me money send it back . I’ll selll this piece junk today . Idiots . Pure idiots . Don’t tell me to pay to send it back if my local store doesn’t have to take it back . Clowns ,
Shoddy Workmanship & Worthless Warranty
We got a mower late May 2024 and by Sept 2024 the engine was blown after <15 hours drivetime. Despite the servicer stating the bolts were over torqued and there was oil in the crankcase, the manufacturer looked at some pictures and said lack of lubrication (which the servicer disagreed with). I have texts going back to May 2024 showing that we had oil in the mower, but the warranty claim was denied stating we did not provide proper maintenance. There are many posts online about this known issue. Do not expect Cub Cadet to stand behind their work or honor their warranties.
Garbage Customer Service
Garbage Customer Service! Was charged double 8 months ago (made the payment) and have inquired late fees/ others fees ever since! Every time I call its a different excuse. Was even guaranteed "IF" i made my payment before the due date last month (April) that there would be no fees for the month of May, (implying that I don't make my payments) so I almost doubled what my payment was and can you guess how much in late fees / Other fees I was charged in May... well it WASN"T Zero!!! Even though I can prove when I made payments they show on their statements as a day or two late and they don't care! And they are filtering who you can talk two, every time I call I get the SAME woman and when FWD to higher its the SAME "Supervisor" I'm almost willing to bet the the late fees / other fees are going into their pockets at this point and is the reason I cant get in touch with anyone else at this point. DON'T GET THE CREDIT CARD THEY ARE PREDATORY, VEUGE STATMENTS THAT DONT SHOW YOU WHAT FEES THEY ARE CHARGING, VERY GENERIC!!! THERE ARE BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE! SO LONG CUB CADET YOU LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER! CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT TO DROP!!!
3rd season on our new cab cadet…
3rd season on our new cab cadet tractor. Should have at least 300 hours. Just cracked 70 hours this weekend after trying. Hit 70.1 hours, and died again. First year, it spent more time in the shop, and my neighbors mowed our lawn most of that season and last. Complete piece of junk, and nothing but screwed around by Central Equipnnt in New Glasgow. P.s. they're more than willing to help you after the warranties run out. Garbage!!!
WORST mulching
Cub cadet rider has the WORST mulching capability of any mower I have ever had. By the time I finish cutting our 1/3 acre, I am covered head to toe with clippings. It always shoots grass out of the front and right side. Terrible design and wish we had gone with another brand....any brand other than the yellow POC. We've had it 3 years and it's been this way since day 1. I would never reccommend one.

It has been serviced and repaired on a few occasions by a local supplier where I purchased it, wish I had never bought it!
