Inflexible company and outdated website!

Needed the Pan Am grille quickly because the bumper was being taken off the car (SL500) for headlamp washer fault so I thought I would take the opportunity to fit the new grille. Despite the website stating that collection was possible with photo identity I was told that was not possible! Hence I was left at the mercy of a courier and paid for next day delivery and told to hurry up because they were collecting in thirty minutes time! This meant in did not know if I was going to receive it in time. The website needs updating to reflect what you actually offer in this case a collection opportunity which does not exist! I will steer clear of your company for future parts for either of my Mercedes cars going forward. Incidentally the garage fitting the product experienced problems fitting the grille especially the distance sensors.

Upon listening to the recorded telephone call, our team politely advised you (upon your telephone call at 13:22), that we simply did not offer collection. This is stated not only all over our website, and collection is not shown as an option at checkout. We offer shipping only, which is our company policy, as we do not have collection facilities.

Our team advised you the cut off for courier collection was at 2pm. Therefore, our team ensured your order was sent on a 24hr delivery service after receiving it only at 13:38. Parcelforce have confirmed delivery to you at 11:57 the following morning, and provide detailed information on the morning of delivery advising you of the slot, which was clearly met.

Concerning the grille installation, we were surprised to hear your garage had difficulty with installation as having supplied and/ or fitted more than 379 of the same grille worldwide without a single issue, we cannot fathom why your grille would have been an exception to this.

As your review title suggest you were expecting us to change our policies to suit. However, our policies are there for a reason, and cannot be altered. Our team work tirelessly to provide a high quality service, which has been met again in the case of your order too.

Fast delivery

I bought a grill / kidneys for my BMW IX3 and chose express delivery and it must be said that it was. 3 working days then it was delivered in Denmark.
Now I just hope it fits perfectly.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!!

I ordered an item from this company way before xmas as a special present for someone it never arrived due to the post office we now believe it to have been stolen! I rang the company in the new year explained the situation to them firstly to my astonishment they answered the phone and secondly they sent me out a replacement immediately this has to be a rarity in this day and age, would definitely recommend this company

CKS 'Poor' Performance

Ordered a part 5 days prior to Christmas and paid nearly £9-00 for 24 delivery. The part hasn't turned up and when I phoned CKS to speak to them I was met with a constant barrage of rude interruptions by someone who accused Me of being rude and talking down to him. I requested a postage refund to which he replied, "Tough - You ain't getting one, Not our problem !" He then hung up and blocked my number. Disgusting service ! Disgusting man ! Made excuses about Royal Mail when they'd used DPD 🤔

Just had a response to my review off CKS. They had the tenacity to imply I suggest I made multiple abusive calls. I made 1 call, to which they rudely hung up and blocked. I followed up with 1 call,on a landline number, to ask for an explanation . Listen to your 'recorded' calls CKS. In response to you blaming Royal Mail for DPD's non delivery, I ordered another part from a company after yours using Royal Mail as a preferred carrier and that has arrived. Touché !

Our staff kindly explained to you the order was dispatched via DPD on a 24hr delivery service. You were upset DPD had sent you communication explaining they had an issue with delivery.

Exactly as stated clearly on our website: We use reputable third party courier services such as DPD, UPS and DHL and all delivery dates are approximate. Please bear in mind when organising your schedule that we cannot guarantee your orders will be delivered by the specified time. Our couriers will always aim to achieve their service time however there may be unavoidable delays due to weather, customs or other adverse conditions.

Regrettably you were not prepared to listen to this and instead went on a tirade of abuse and raising your voice to our staff.

We explained this politely to you, however, this was not enough and that decided to proceed with a character assassination, calling us on multiple occasions. You then abruptly hung up the telephone call.

We are all human, and have no reason to accept abuse verbal or otherwise.
