I had stayed in Copenhagen for over 2 years and City Appartments were great! Whenever I was in need of something (plumber or guidance) they always responded quickly. Had a great pleasure staying in Copenhagen thanks to City Appartments.

Edit: They will try to make you pay for more then your should when you move out. I’ve sent the case to “huslejeklagenævnet”.
Try to Google the firm - theres lots of articles about them cheating people.

The staff at City Apartment is friendly and and very helpful. Our heater wasn’t working in some of the rooms and they came straight away - literately within a couple of hours and fixed it with a smile.

I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay in one of City Apartments’ homes.

I highly recommend City Apartment. The agent I dealt with, Mette, went out of her way to find exactly what I was looking for. I am now living happily in my new apartment after a very efficient and easy sign up process. I wasted a lot of time looking elsewhere until I found City Apartment.

Perfect and super furnished beautiful house in Valby, they realized my dreams. Always available for everything and a special thank to Mette who has always supported us with great professionalism and competence, helping my boyfriend and I feel at home. I have long looked for a house in Copenhagen and I have actually seen dozens of apartments but no agency has approached us with the same promptness and courtesy, offering us a truly unique home! I would give zero stars if possible. Worst experience ever. I had agreed to visit one of their apartments and the meeting was canceled 20 minutes before because someone else reserved the property. At the phone I get offered an alternative (I was looking for 3 bedrooms apartments). We organize a viewing for Friday at 10am. Once at the property the agent is not able to enter the building because he is without the keys and none of the tenants are home. We re-schedule a viewing for today and the apartment turns out to be a 2 bedroom. The agent apologizes but honestly I feel this is too much. Complete waste of time, additionally during working hours. Everything was handled by Alexander. Additionally the website is often unclear having a number of bedroom in the description which does not correspond to the reality. Avoid this company unless alternatives are non-existent!!

What a disheartening experience having to deal with that agency. It always felt like they were doing a favor to pick up the phone, write down their epigraphic replies, figure out how to assist me, their customer. Unfortunately the real estate market in Copenhagen is quite hard and they can afford to treat you that way. I understand that, still I thought being part of the same species meant some sort of empathy somehow. I was wrong.

I have been looking for a new place since November last year at a slower pace and then quite intense since end of December. For this period I have been able to observe how is the market for renting behaving. City apartments offer fully furnished, very functional apartments located in attractive areas. Compared to another agency that are offering both to buy and to rent I found out that City appartements have not only better prices, but are also more flexible and more client oriented.

Fuldt tilfreds - har der været noget i lejligheden, som gik i stykker, kom der håndværkere meget hurtigt. Cityapartment har altid svaret høfligt og korrekt, været parat til at hjælpe hvor de kan! Kan kun anbefale ejendomsselskabet!

High quality apartments and fantastic service, can highly recommend!

I am very satisfied with City Apartment. From the moment I showed interest in my current apartment the communication has been friendly, adequate and trustworthy. They have reacted swiftly on all the requirements I had. There are quite some sharks in this market, so I can only highly recommend renting through City Apartment.

They’ve been real professional and easy to deal with when it comes to contract and deposit and such.
A little disappointed when it comes to maintenance issues though. Like it taking forever for them to respond, but the service guys are super nice and helpful once they show up.

Proffessional, flexible and effective

I have rented several flats through City apartments (Mette), and have always had a proffessional and efficient experience.
Their flats is in good quality and with very central locations. The flats are often newly renovated and furnished with high quality danish style furniture.
Their service of their buildings also work well and deals with problems or damages quite fast.

I can highly recommend to use City Apartments for renting flats in Copenhagen.

The fully furnished apartment is in a really good condition. The staff is flexible and reliable and all in all a positive customer/tenant experience! 👍

Rented an apartment from them for just over 18 months in Vesterbro. I actually found their rates quite reasonable for location and size. No major issues, and responded quickly if there was an issue. For example, dishwasher broke down, replaced with a brand new one within a week.

Full deposit returned minus an adjustment for the final heating bill. Seems like they have improved their service based on earlier reviews.

I called to inquire about a property and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. He hung up on me. I know because I called again thinking there was a problem with the connection, but the idiot told me, "no, it was because you did not state your name before asking your question". I told him that I am a foreigner from North America, and from where I come from you don't usually give names unless someone asks, especially if you are the customer. To that he replied, "Let me educate you about Danish culture. That is not how you call people in Denmark. Oh, and the apartment you were asking about is not available anyway." What a condescending idiot. I guess they don't need customers. What then is the point of this business? By the way, my spouse is Danish and agrees that the way this company treated me was a disgrace, and not at all representative of Danish culture. Such contempt for customers and human beings in general! Disgusting.

Very bad service , not clear info about the contract, they promise to help you and at the end they avoid you , is the worst housing company ever I apply for , don't even try it ....

This is not a serious company. My experience with it is that they just want your money, and once you sign the contract, they are totally unresponsive and unreliable. Be warned, do not sign their contracts!

My experience as a young professional was not great with the company.

First of all, the employees clearly know nothing about basic customer service. They were rude, unprofessional and knew nothing about the apartments they are renting.

After seeing one of them, I got even more disappointed mainly of the viewing process. It was very chaotic and unorganized and the agent, Ulrik, was clearly avoiding people.

I think the company is very bad and not helpful at all and I advise no serious working people to go there since they will primarily be wasting their time.

They do not even deserve one star.

I called and asked for their support when tap water was dirty after the regular maintenance. They were not willing to help and suggested me to look at the general instruction on their website. When I tried to call other person, they rejected to help me, as it was not their responsibility. In the end, they told me to find other apartment, if I am not satisfied with their "service".

Similar incidents happened a couple of times, so I decided to move. One day when I was sleeping in the bed, City Apartment guy came in without appointment nor my permission to show the room for new tenants. When I was not there, they obviously did the same. City Apartment does this without telling you, and this is their normal practice.

They also kept increasing the rent, although the room is not new and the furniture is cheap.

So I strongly recommend to rent an apartment from a decent company or individual.
