Chris' training has been fantastic, he has carried out 8 training courses on our site and everyone has been very positive about the training. Chris is really easy to work with and always responds to emails in a timely manner and is always on hand to provide expert knowledge.

Professional and informative course. There are very few such courses around, so it was good for me as an independent worker. Plenty of time to practice skills and we were given equipment to take home for further practice. Very friendly. Close to very good value car parks. Medical meats are used for skills practice.

I am quite advanced in years (well, a very young 60!), and did my first 1st Aid training at 7 years old, in the cubs. I have kept up to date with my training over the years, including Field 1st Aid for humanitarian, security and military personnel working in hostile environments.

Chris's training for BLS was by far and away the most enjoyable, innovative and welcoming first aid training I have ever attended. Everyone was made to feel included, the information was delivered in a style to suit all learners, and it was fun.

As a local I popped down to their training centre in Knutsford to see if I could book some training, only to be told by the nice lady at reception, they have not been there for weeks!

Had a great day with Chris training on the evac chair. Chris was a mine of information and explained everything well. I feel confident using the evac chair in an emergency.

Chris knows his stuff as a first aider who is practising at the sharp end. This came over in his teaching and I learnt a lot on the practical part of the course. I also enjoyed the online part of the course (I did a 2 day blended learning outdoor first aid course). I feel far more equipped to be someone useful in case of emergency now. I thought this was going to be a tick in the box exercise that I needed to practise as an outdoor walking leader, but I actually enjoyed it thoroughly. I'd recommend Chris's courses and will certainly come back once my certification is up for renewal.

The training venue - Knutsford Golf Club - was fantastic. Good coffee on tap, the option to buy lunch at the golf club and a nice outdoor space.

Just reading a few of the recent negative reviews, I notice that a couple of people complained about doing an exam - this is a requirement for getting your certification, it's multiple choice and quite frankly, if you've paid attention, you should be able to pass easily!

Superb course!
I attended the Evacuation Chair Train the Trainer course.
It was perfectly paced - there was a lot of theory work and practical experience to get through in one day, but it was presented really well and the course flowed brilliantly.
Chris is highly knowledgeable and was full of hints and tips to help me develop my training skills - his guidance was invaluable.
I highly recommend training with Chris & will certainly be booking other courses in the future.

Critical Injury Responder Course

I liked the curriculum as it fitted exactly what I was interested in and it was taught very well. Chris is very friendly and perfect at giving advice on other medical questions regarding topics outside the course that are relatively hard to learn about otherwise and is great for filling in gaps in my knowledge.

Some small things I would improve would be to pump fake blood through the limb in the box when wound packing (there was already a tube attached for it) to make it more realistic for learning, and to give us diagrams (for example the secondary survey) to keep for revision as their was a lot of stuff to remember regarding it.

Overall amazing course, superb value for money!

After further investigation of my due diligence on this training provider, I have further discovered that this training provider displays the Trading Standards Buy with Confidence Approved Provider Logo on their website, The organisation has confirmed with me today the following. ''We can confirm that this business is not a member of the Buy With Confidence scheme and we will be investigating the misuse of our logo further.

Your replies refer to a lot of issues regarding those logos and bodies you claim to work with. Protrainings you stated publicly there was an error even after 10 days of asking if you are approved to award their courses. Regarding the use of the trading standards logo, you removed after they contacted you Friday the 11th. A reasonable person would have thought as you claim it is their error you would have been able to continue to display their logo. It would be reasonable for any person to be cautious in claims & responses in this case as to your claims to award qualifications & claims that you held Trading Standards Approval.

I attended this course to extend my skills in minor wound assessment and treatment, allowing me to manage injuries at events and avoid hospital referral. Staff and venue were welcoming and appropriate. The tutor's background and experience gave us confidence in his teaching. He took us from varying backgrounds and experience and built on our skills. Materials were available for as much practice as we needed and support and guidance was available. This has given me confidence to manage some wounds I would otherwise have referred.

I took the First aid at Work course with Chris and the way he relates it back to you and what you need is very helpful. it is my first first aid course and it came across as being a very good one he seems to learn from his experiance and other peoples. Not like someone who "knows how its done" and that is that no room for movement. He will adaptive with new information. Very nice man as well as great course.
