After making a hash of bidding on-line for an item I was very keen to acquire, I phoned the auction house and was put in touch with Tracey who managed to put things right very quickly and efficiently with the minimum of fuss.
After being successful I had occasion to make an enquiry concerning payment on the shipping requirements, which she also sorted out. I was impressed and thankful for such a friendly and helpful service. Excellent work.

I contacted Chiswick Auctions to arrange a phone call back as I didn’t want to miss my lot. Explained to Katy the lot number and asked the rough time of the lot. After she had helped me I put the phone down and realised not only had I given her the wrong lot number but also I wasn’t going to be in at that time and could she change the number to a friends number. Katy did it in stride, not only that but telling me there would be no problem at all. She was right, I won the lot. Thank you Katy, you’re a credit to your company. Richard

Friendly, expert valuers who take great trouble to describe accurately items to best possible but truthful advantage. Reasonable commission rates. Efficient after-sales and payment service.

A really professional and knowledgeable organisation. The auction lots are well described and photographed. My requested condition report was detailed and honest. I found the invoicing and payment straightforward. The auction house provides a packaging and shipping process which I used. My item was beautifully wrapped and arrived quickly and safely. I will definitely buy through Chiswick Auctions again.

Materially misleading in in their description of items and poor work on provenance. Avoid them and deal with more reliable and reputable auction houses.

2 hours driving and i was told to come in on tuesday morning sit and wait 30 minutes then aspecialist looks at the african figures there are very nice but i need to talk to thr boss the answer not for us as we are now upmarket since we have moved if we had kwown it would have saved 3 hours driving i will not recomend as a top auction house as they only want antiques over 300 P0UNDS THERE ARE SOME that are small that only sell at £150 and are 300 years old are the not antique ot we hada bag of byzantine coins never even showed any specialist or a 1420 book and its very strange or manusctipts 12 in all

All the process has been very well managed.

The team working at Chiswick Auctions is most professional. I have been impressed with all stages of the selling process. It is so good when one comes across an organistion in which the staff are so motivated and go out of their way to help.I have no hesitation in awarding full marks.

Realised a fraction of the true worth of my late father's lifetime collection of blocks and watches.....Also lost several large pieces of Capodimonte, many pieces of porcelain and several lower value clocks, so lost out there too .....My poor father would turn in his grave if he knew what we'd done!!!

This was my first time selling through an Auction House so a totally new experience!
I had inherited a fair amount jewellery from my Aunt and decided to have it valued with the intention of putting it into auction.
Raphaelle Godfrey and Sara Malorgio couldn't have been more helpful with their advice on value and whether items were best sold individually or in small 'lots/bundles'.
The auctions have yet to take place and I'm well aware that not all items may sell. However, once again, I'm sure that I can ask the advice of Raphaelle and Sara on the best way to proceed.

I recently needed to auction several items that I had inherited. I emailed enquiring how I should go about arranging this and received a quick response from Toby Roberts, Head of Interiors, Homes and Antiques. I went to see him and was warmly welcomed and he was understanding and informed about the items. He kept in touch throughout the whole process and gave me confidence that I was dealt with fairly. Watching the live auctions was fascinating and Toby was very professional and entertaining. I cannot praise him highly enough and I will always use Chiswick Auctions in the future.

From the outset, in dealing with Mary Pelletier and then subsequently with Chiara Macerola, the experience has been terrific. They have both been so professionals, amazing and super helpful. I put up a book for auction and Clive Moss the head of the book department appraised the book and entered it in the sale for a second time as, at the sale in January, an interested buyer withdrew his bid before that sale.
We discussed the estimate and agreed the reserve. I was pleased that the book sold for the reserve price and although I have dealt with Clive previously I am grateful for his expertise.

Valentina was the BEST! She helped me through the auction with answering my questions and guided me through the auction process. Really kind and knowledgeable! Shipped to the U.S. with unbelievable quickness!
