After extensive research, interviews, and comparisons between different high-end tour companies, we selected China Culture Tours for our 3 week private custom tour to China. It was the best decision we made about our trip. We worked closely with Linda Wu over a period of several weeks to plan an adventure that would be memorable and consistent with our interests. Her patience, knowledgeable advice, and great communication were fantastic and highly appreciated. She made many promises about the level of service we would receive while there, which honestly seemed too good to be true. Not only did CCT honor those promises, but they exceeded our expectations in every way. The logistics were flawless, which is critical when traveling to a place where English is rarely spoken and the situations are unfamiliar.

Over our 9 different locations, we were greeted by and spent several days with many different guides. All were excellent but Tony in Zhangjiajie, Marianne in Chongqing, and Cory in Guilin were particularly outstanding. As very experienced travelers, we cannot recommend China Culture Tours more highly. You will not be disappointed.

We have had a great experience with China culture tours while in china. Tina in Beijing and then the Spring in Xi'an did such a great job! They explained and were very thorough and gave us so much attention and helped us with whatever we needed. They helped us go early to the Great Wall of China and the terracotta warriors so that we could avoid the crowds and had a great time at all the attractions. The food has also been wonderful, helping us to find local places that were not touristy and that tasted great!

La cosa più bella però è la passione che trasmette: si vede davvero quanto ami il suo territorio, la sua cultura e le sue tradizioni. Ogni luogo che ci ha mostrato aveva una storia, un’anima, e grazie a lei siamo riusciti a viverlo in modo autentico, non da semplici turisti.
Sempre disponibile, sorridente, preparata e attenta ai dettagli. Ci ha fatto scoprire angoli, curiosità e aspetti della Cina che da soli non avremmo mai capito o apprezzato davvero.

I cannot express how amazing China Culture Tours was! My 83-year-old grandma had wanted to visit China for years and years, and after coming across China Tours, we knew she was in good hands. Linda planned an incredibly detailed tour, focused on art and scenery for my grandmother, with plenty of rest breaks and time to relax if need be. She spent nearly 20 days in Hangzhou and Suzhou, with guides from China Tour the entire time. They organized not only amazing sights and experiences, but also all transportation, making sure she never had the chance to get lost or confused. My grandmother had an amazing time, and truly had a trip of a lifetime. I highly highly recommend

This was my third time using China Culture Tour to organize my trip, working closely with Linda again to create a dream-tour.

This time, I did a tour of the southern half of the country, starting in Shanghai and ending in Hong Kong. I used CCT for the Anhui - Fujian - Guangxi - Yunnan - Lhasa portion of the tour. As with other trips, all of Linda's suggestions were gold, including the hotels. The Riyuegu Hot Springs were not even on my origninal list, and yet it ended up being one of the highlights of my entire trip! The Yellow Mountains were as beautiful as their reputation maintains, as well as all of Anhui province, really; Yunnan is a province that demands your attention, particularly at the Dongchuan Red Lands, and the Yuanyang Rice Terraces; and Shuhe is my new favourite ancient town in China.

Linda is a wonderful lady who works at China Culture Tour, and helped me organize all 3 of my tours to China. Guilin happened to be her hometown, so we decided to meet there in person for the first time! It was a pleasure getting to know Linda while walking around the streets of Guilin during the Qingming festival. It was such a relaxing evening, which was much appreciated after over 2 weeks of strenuous walking and hiking.

In addition, I had absent-mindedly left an item behind in Hong Kong that was of great sentimental value to me, and I panicked when I realized it wasn't on my person when I was at the airport. I immediately contacted Linda, and she went above and beyond to help me locate my missing item, and it was actually found! 🙏

I would like to thank Linda and all her hard work at China Culture Tour. She must be acknowledged for her top-tier professionalism as well as her immediate warmth. These trips would not have been possible without her.

We had a 2 day tour in Xi’an with Shirley and would definitely recommend her to anyone thinking about doing a guided tour in Xi’an. Shirley was extremely knowledgeable and made our tour of the Terracotta Army extremely entertaining. We hiked Huashan on a rainy day, which was unfortunate. However, Shirley was extremely caring, she got us raincoats and anti grip shoe covers.

A wonderful trip thanks to China Culture Tour. It was our first time in China and we wanted to avoid any inconvenience, so we chose a private tour tailored to our preferences.

The experience with the guides in each city was excellent. We started with Sandy in Beijing, who was very attentive and helpful; then Shirley in Xi'an, a very kind and warm person; in Hangzhou we were accompanied by Eleven, with a cheerful and radiant personality; and we finished with Eileen in Shanghai, very professional and always looking after us.

Overall, everyone was friendly and easy to get along with. It’s also worth mentioning the drivers and the staff who assisted us with train and flight transfers—everything ran smoothly without a single issue.

I can’t fail to highlight the impeccable work of Nora, who was our initial point of contact and helped us customize our entire itinerary and overall planning, giving us great peace of mind on such a long trip from Peru.

China Culture Tour arranged our private tours with English speaking guides to Beijing and Shanghai. Nora helped to create a great itinerary and we had wonderful guides and drivers in each city. Serena was our Beijing guide and Brenda was our Shanghai guide. They both took great care of our family. I can’t imagine how we would have navigated China without them. The language barrier, security and lines around attractions, transportation, crowds, etc were handled professionally and efficiently. They made the process easy and a terrific experience.

In seven days of our travel with Abbie was wonderfull, even the weather was not on our side, but she did the best for making the holidays fantastic.
