This is my second time purchasing hedging from Cheshire Plants, and once again I’m really impressed. The plants arrived in excellent condition—healthy, well-grown, and clearly well cared for. You can tell they take pride in the quality of what they supply.

The service was just as good as the first time I ordered—smooth, reliable, and hassle-free from start to finish. Delivery was prompt, and everything was packaged securely to ensure the plants arrived safely.

It’s great to find a company that’s consistent in both product quality and customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Cheshire Plants again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality hedging.

I purchased 25 Portuguese Laurel hedges, the 10 to 12 ft size.

When it came to delivery there was a slight mix up and a few were different, however after talking straight away with Matthew the courier driver left and returned a couple of hours later with the replacement ones.

This was especially helpful because I had a landscape gardener there, a small mini digger and large skip, we were digging a fifteen metre trench for these to go in so the fact that they sorted this out on a few hours was most welcome.

This is not my first purchase from this family run business, and it most certainly will not be my last, in fact I will be calling them again shortly for some more plants.

Lovely people, very competitive prices. What's not to like.

I've just planted 20 cherry Laurel that this company delivered to a customer of mine, I can't believe the quality of these shrubs they have to be some of the best I've come across they were taller than ordered and pretty bushy I'd definitely recommend this company and will definitely be using myself

Bought 2 plants from them last spring. Planted and looked after them regularly throughout but the plants lost leaves in winter which never came back - the plants died without lasting a season. Not offering a replacement as is the case with all reputable garden centres. Avoid.

Matt and his team are very welcoming and knowledgeable. I drove 2 hours to see the quality and construction of the Pergola in person. I had been to see others, but all appeared flimsy or I could tell the construction was poorly designed e.g the way the Louvred roof opened/closed. This Pergola from Cheshire Plants was not comparable to the others. Solid aluminium construction throughout, exceptionally sturdy and built to last. I did think initially there must have been a catch (which is why I turned up in person) but no catch, just a great Pergola at a price point which was quite unbelievable. The build in led lighting adds a touch of class, my favourite being the warm white option. I also ended up purchasing an all aluminium construction patio set as I was fed up of my other patio sets rusting. To finish, I also purchased a fire pit table for those nippy nights. I built everything myself with the help of a friend, instructions for the Pergola was the best I’d seen, very clear and easy to follow, all parts were labelled making identification easy. All in all, Matt and his team smashed it out of the ballpark with prices that could not be beat (trust me, I looked everywhere to find like for like cheaper). Super Happy customer!

The plant is healthy but disappointed with the size of the plant, its at least 1/3 smaller than what I saw in their product page

Laurels ordered by picture and arrived as picture plus, gorgeous plants, amazing.
Delivery agent was also amazing, helped us unload some of the plants and even took the pallet back, proper company.
I will be ordering more from Cheshire, a true and honest company that sells what it says, thank you.
Please, order from them, what you see on line is not what you get, it is WAY BETTER.

I received 28 XL Bushy laurels this afternoon. The photo on the website is exactly what i received if not i feel better. The heights of all 28 laurels are between 5/6ft as specified. Delivery was as promised between 8am-6pm, and I also live in a lane with tricky access. I was nearly put of by a review regarding the delivery's being bad but my driver was welcoming, helpful and a good laugh too even at 5pm on a friday. I will be shopping again with chesire plants very soon and my friends will be recommended them also.

This is the best plant company I have ever used, They answer the phone quickly, very helpful with advice and guidance. Delivery came when they stated, the trees are superb. All in all a great experience, I will be recommending them . Top class service.

The team at Cheshire Plsnts are efficient courteous and delivered the plants (40 large 6ft laurels) with care and as promised. No delays no problem.

This is a rather mixed review. No issue with the quality of the hedging plants I ordered.

Issues arose regarding the delivery. We called up after placing the order to make them aware that a very large lorry wouldn’t fit down our lane but could access the road servicing it. That we were near the end of the lane so we had no problem meeting the driver as we have done before to wheel the pallets to our driveway. They said this would not be an issue and were given a phone number separate from one on the order for the driver to ring if there were any issues.

We were also not informed of the delivery date as they said they would do on the order information. So we’re not expecting a delivery on that day.

The driver wasn’t given the number specific to the delivery or any other instructions. I then had to ring the driver after my partner rang me telling me they were not gonna deliver if I didn’t ring them quickly. On speaking to the driver he told me he couldn’t access the road to my Lane because he had an 18 ton lorry. We have had 18 ton lorries deliver here before, no issues and the drivers were always very helpful.

This driver passive aggressively informed me that he was going to put it down as a ‘non-delivery’ and returning the items. So I had to suggest meeting him on the side of the road a mile away and when I met him, he did not lower the tail gate to the floor, I informed him I had a prolapsed disc and could he give me a hand and he just grinned at me while looking down on me watching me struggling with three very heavy hedging plants while dragging them through the back of a hatchback vehicle. I think anyone in my situation wouldn’t be happy about this.

Understandably, I rung up Cheshire plants and I was informed a manager would call me back and then two days later I’scheard nothing and then naturally gonna ring up the second time as a customer I am going to be frustrated, I was however polite and not rude or abusive.

When I finally got passed on to a manager, he instantly told me he didn’t like my tone, literally a sentence into the call while I was trying to explain the situation, and try to nullify my complaint, because he didn’t like my tone apparently, I’ve had no issue with this before when I’ve had to deal with companies in regards to making a complaint. When dealing in Customer Services you are going to deal with customers who when they’ve not received the service they require are going to be frustrated. So I’m not only did I had to deal with a passive aggressive delivery driver I also had to deal with a passive aggressive manager at the Company concerned. I suggest this individual needs some specific customer service training.

I stumbled across this company whilst looking for a solution to renew a part of a boundary hedge. I wanted an instant result, but thought it would be too costly. Cheshire Plants had a sale on so I was able to fill the gap with decent sized plants. The ordering was easy, price good and the delivery company a delight to deal with. The order came when promised and the very next morning, I've got them in and the gap is no more! Very Pleased I found this company.

I’m very pleased with the plants I received, I placed an order worth a thousand pound and received a beautiful free olive tree.
Just want to thank Matt and his wonderful team for picking me the best plants and being nothing but very helpful through the whole process!
