I sold my late wife's car though Motorway to Chequers Cars. Everyone I had contact with was lovely, in particular James, Simon and Peter. They were warm, compassionate (considering my circumstances), helpful, efficient and extremely fair. I have not hesitation in recommending this family run independent car dealership.

Was put in contact with them via Motorway as we wanted to sell my wife’s car and they won the auction.

They were absolutely fantastic from the very start. Good communication, fair price and worked collection around our holiday. They didn’t try to haggle down the price when they arrived to inspect and collect. The driver, Simon was an absolute gent!

Excellent communication from my first contact with James through to completion of the purchase. Travelled by train from North West England down to Woking to test drive the vehicle and complete the purchase. Was met at the station by James and taken back to Chequers. The fiat was exactly as described and this family business was so easy to work with because of good communication.

Friendly, professional, family run business that makes you feel absolutely certain that you're getting the best possible deal. I've personally been in the sales side of the motor trade for over 30 years and I can honestly say that although Chequers is a modern, professional company, it's also a throwback to the good old days when customers weren't made to feel like just another number as they do now in PLC run dealer groups

Rip off merchants who play people’s vulnerabilities to their advantage

Even the response is in accurate and total lies ~ £200 was deducted. The found key was advised on the SAME via phone and email. The member of staff that wanted to FaceTime whilst I was at an airport WAS rude and hung up the phone when I didn’t agree with his narrative. No emails were ever responded to.

Now in hands if lawyers

Superb garage with a good selection of cars. I went over to test drive one I had seen on line and bought it there and then. Absolutely superb customer service by James who I highly recommend. It’s my go to garage from now on.

Chequers provided all you would expect from a local family company. The whole process was simple and straight forward, carried it in a friendly helpful manner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

James and the crew were very attentive, despite being short-staffed over the Easter holiday period. I needed to have the MOT before I could leave (the car sailed through, by the way) and they were able to turn it around within an hour. Very straightforward, no dramas.
