Your order was received after our cut-off time on the afternoon of the 9th, it was processed on the 10th, our new stock delivery came in late on the 12th and it was despatched on the 13th. Unfortunately our couriers will not guarantee Saturday deliveries. Considering the low carriage charge, and the fact that you did not note on the order that the goods were required urgently, or contact us about the order in the interim, we are surprised by your disappointment. Nevertheless, we hope you like the product, and should you re-order, if you need something urgently do ring or email us first to check how quickly we can get it to you, or put a note on the order, or select premium delivery at check-out and we will do our best to get it to you next day, or advise you otherwise. Amazing pocket size rigging tool handy to keep with me in case I need it for rope jobs on my land or on the boat. Price from chas newens marine was a few £’s cheaper than anywhere else, delivery was very quick and staff were lovely. Would definitely use them again and fully recommend.

Super After-Sales Service.
Tried submitting this review but don’t think it went through. Don’t want to miss reviewing excellent after sales service. Having purchased a folding ladder for my camper from Chas Newens Marine, I noticed no brackets for hook attachments. Phoned the company and spoke to Jakki. She contacted supplier and found out not only were brackets not supposed to be included but found out advertised items were discontinued. She sourced replacement items and ordered them for me. Gave me a little discount and free postage for my trouble. Super After Sales Service.

I had a fantastic experience with Chas Newens Marine in Putney. I initially called to ask about delivery costs for a launching trolley, and the level of customer service that followed was genuinely above and beyond.
The manager took the time to call me back and talk through options, including suggesting collection from their site. She then went out of her way to find an even more convenient solution that significantly reduced our travel time. She made sure the arrangement worked for us, helped us load the trolley when we arrived, and even checked in by message the next day to make sure we’d got home safely.
It’s rare to find such thoughtful, proactive, and genuinely caring customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chas Newens Marine to anyone — a brilliant example of putting customers first.

Great service and communication
I was in urgent need of some anodes and Chas Newens pulled out all the stops to expedite the order - the speedy delivery exceeded the estimate by several days. A lot of marine stores talk the talk but they certainly walk the walk! Highly recommended.
