I've used Cartridge World a few times to order toner for my laser jet printer. Last week I made a mistake with my order and the team in the office were able to rectify it immediately, with a simple phone call and follow up email. the team is really helpful and the own brand cartridges work perfectly fine in my years old printer. would highly recommend.

Several refill cartridges have failed but no action from Cartridge World when I wrote to them about it enclosing a picture, They leak BADLY as soon as you remove the seals before putting into your printer, and major stain risk for carpet etc.

I really have tobe let down to leave a neg review on a company, but here it is, this time a week ago on the same day and time i placed a small order ink and labels, its now a week later and still have not received my items. I need the labels and ink for my own business, now i have let my customers down, which I've had the phone nearly 180 people say sorry my ink and labels have not arrived. Also ill never use this company again, i receive its from china quicker, i should have used Temu . their quicker than Cartridge would which has a shop only 40 miles away.

Cheap service that
Lacks skill to fix printers and cartridge prices are very high.
Update1: (For a reply i have received) I have not stated that this was an online service.
It happened at 22 Park Street hull.

"as we do not offer printer repair services online." & I keep stating "the service i received was not online", were going round in circles.
If you're not the hull company, then there is a company in hull (Park street) using your logo!

Superb customer service from Gavin on my lost order - lots of time taken to try and understand what had happened and then a refund - even before Royal Mail had agreed to honour the claim for it. Incredible, rare, considerate customer care. Five stars, all the way. Thank you.

Amazon HP 304xl colour £26.70
That’s a huge £8.22 difference , simular for the black and white 304xl, that’s around 30% higher , we are ripped off enough for printer supplies with out this

I was having a problem with a new 3 month old wireless printer. I replaced the ink cartidge and it wouldn't print! Phoned Cartridge World. They sent me a replacement b/w cartridge even though mine was out of warranty. And problem sorted. No fuss.

Just all around the most awful company you could ever wish to deal with

I have been dealing with this company for many months and have always found them to be helpful and informative. I have had two issues with cartridge incompatibility which they resolved within 24 hours. will continue to use...

So much for welcoming new customers. They encourage you to sign up for an account with a promise of a new customer discount and newsletter but hours later I've received nothing via email. Need printer ink but if this is the first impression I have of their customer service I'll be going elsewhere to purchase.

In Response To Cartridge World's Reply: I only got an email regarding this after I chased it with your customer service dept so goodness knows how long I would have waited had I not done so. BTW there was nothing in my spam folder so trying to suggest it was my mistake confirms my initial opinion. As for 1-star, it is a genuine measure of my appalling first experience of Cartridge World which extends to you questioning my right to reflect this with my review.

I wanted 3 ink cartridges. Mr Gavin Askew gave me the price on the phone and confirmed by email. I rang him on Friday 29/9/2023. I paid for the 3 cartridges. They kept informing all details of transport. Today I have received in the post 30/09/2023. This is good company. Tel 01423 701704. Genuine company. God bless Mr Gavin Askew and his team.

I have an HP 7740 Printer and was shocked to find out the ink costs £160, I purchased non HP Ink for £60 which wouldn't work and was about to sell the printer when I discovered Cartridge World. Downloaded a firmware downgrade from them (nervously as it's an exe file). It's worked a treat!! Thank you very very much Cartridge World - highly recommended! :o)

Poor quality cartridges are one thing, refusing to answer emails when this is brought to CWs attention is another problem all together. Avoid at all costs

On two occasions emails were sent regarding faulty cartridges, once this year and one last year. Both emails have been completely ignored.

I was having an issue with my current printer and always buy my cartridges through Cartridge World at the Maple Grove location. Purchased new cartridges and they didn't work, not printing at all, so I went back and spoke with Jason Waldron and he gave new cartridges to try again. Well they didn't work and this time I brought in my current printer and he graciously worked on and ran some maintenance and as we thought the printer heads need to be replaced. Not cost effective to replace so I proceeded to buy a new printer from him and he even came to my house to set it up and make sure I had the correct printer cord. His professionalism, customer service and knowledge and his willingness to go above and beyond to make sure I was good tells me a lot about him and their company culture! He will have my business for life when it comes to printers!

‘Buy cheap, buy twice’. Bought Cartridge World’s own brand compatible multipack cartridges for HP 303XL. Very inferior, both with fit and colour quality. Out of the box, there was no colour printing at all. Followed support FAQ’s. Got some improvement, but some colours were still, and continue to be, obviously missing.

Again 5/5 incredible service and lighting fast shipping/delivery, brought the same cartridge which is far better value for money than the official toner prices, one cart of extra ink lasted me nearly a whole year with light use so thanks, will order again.

edit: they even threw in a teabag in a sealed envelope which i appricate lol.

Don't deserve 1 star. Bought a supposedly compatible cartridge to go in my HP printer. It is not compatible at all an caused my printer to malfunction. After going back and forth several times with a bloke called Goven, answering his many pointless questions, I gave up trying to solve the issue and will not ever buy from this company again. They sell dodgy cartridges from China that wreck your printer, Not worth it, avoid this company.
