Bij ophalen wagen Bij CARANDO.GR doe een grondige controle!!!!. Bij het inleveren doen zij dit nog beter .wij hadden een zeer kleine kleine, steeninslag in de voorruit . Ik heb er een foto van genomen , je kan het niet zien op de foto. Betaald €350 .kosten carwach €18 want je moet hem gekuisd .binnen brengen. Ga ik dit van de verzekering terugtrekken??? Huur toch maar niet bij carandgo kreta 28/09/2024 .De groeten

Nie wieder!! Wir haben diesmal bei Carandgo Rentals in Heraklion am Flughafen gebucht. Ein großer Fehler!! Dieses Unternehmen zockt einen bewusst mit einer zusätzlichen Versicherung ab. Angeblich hat beim Abholen des Fahrzeuges die Kreditkarte nicht funktioniert und die Kaution in Höhe von 900 EUR konnte nicht verbucht werden. Absolut unmöglich, das wurde mir auch von meiner Bank bestätigt. Stattdessen wurde vorgeschlagen eine Kaution in Höhe von 200 EUR zu hinterlegen und dann eine Zusatzversicherung in Höhe von 360 EUR zu buchen. Da mittlerweile alle anderen Stationen zu hatten, mussten wir in den sauren Apfel beißen und die Zahlung akzeptieren. Die hat dann natürlich einwandfrei mit der Kreditkarte funktioniert. Das ist, wie wir von anderen gehört haben eine gängige Masche bei diesem Vermieter.
Zu allem Übel, war auch noch das Fahrzeug reif für den Schrottplatz. Wir hatten Sorge, überhaupt in unser Hotel (ca. 1h Fahrtzeit) zu gelangen. Ohne richtiges Licht und teilweise im 2. Gang mussten wir uns den Weg durch die Berge bahnen. Mit rasselnden Ventilen konnten wir aber unseren Zielort erreichen.
Ich kann nur jedem raten, Finger weg von dieser Autovermietung.

Bijna 2 uur bezig geweest met die heks (sorry geen andere term). Onvriendelijk. Ook verhaal van 1000 euro werkt niet, bel uw bank. Stuurde ons weg, ik heb zelf naar do you Spain gebeld, die hebben dan andere boeking gedaan bij andere firma. Blijf weg bij deze maffia!

Wir wurden von CarJet an Carandgo vermittelt, nach eine halbe Stunde Wartezeit erklärt uns der UNFREUNDLICHE MITARBEITER, dass wir ein bereits online reserviertes Auto nur gegen eine Depo Zahlung von € 1000, welche für eine Monat auf der Kreditkarte blockiert werden bekommen. Nach dem wir das Auto für nur 14 Tage gebucht haben und nicht den langen Zeitraum akzeptieren, weigert sich der Mitarbeiter uns ein Auto zu überlassen.
Sein Angebot wir könnten bei Barzahlung von € 650 ( das dreifache unseres ursprünglichen Mietpreises ) ein Auto bekommen. Nach dem wir das abgelehnt haben, ZERREISST DER MITARBEITER DIE RESERVIERUNGSBESTÄTIGUNG vor unseren Augen und ist zum keinem weiteren Gespräch bereit.

VORWEG....diese Zeilen sind eine WARNUNG an Leute, die über VIPCars.com ein Auto mieten wollen.

Wir haben über o.g. Portal ein Auto angemietet. Partner sollte "carandgo" sein. Der Preis war okay für einen Kleinwagen.

Angekommen am Flughafen, mit Verspätung, den Vermieter versucht zu erreichen....keine Chance. Falsche Wegbeschreibung zum Abholpunkt. Nach 30 min mit Gepäck dann doch gefunden.

Dann ging der "Zauber" los! WARTEZEIT 1,5 STD. vor einem Imbiswagen, denn auch andere hatten Probleme mit der Anmietung.
Kreditkarte nicht gültig etc. Es wurde auf Bargeld bestanden und ein neuer Vertrag sollte gemacht werden. Zum doppelten Preis versteht sich.
Dann, nach Unterzeichnung des Neuen Vertrages...ach ja, das Auto muss außen gewaschen zurück gegeben werden.

Das Auto war defekt, was sich aber erst nach einigen KM nach und nach herausstellte. (Wackelkontakt in der Beleuchtung etc.)
Bei Rückgabe standen wieder Kunden in einer Schlange mit Schwierigkeiten ihre Kaution zurück zu bekommen. Denn jetzt sollte das Auto auch noch innen gereinigt werden oder 150.-€ würden von der Kaution einbehalten werden.

Viele kalkulieren die Rückgabe zeitlich knapp und mussten die 150.-€ liegen lassen um den Flug nicht zu verpassen. Wir hatten etwas mehr Zeit. Also Auto waschen lassen für 20.-€ .

Anstatt geplanten 216.-€ zzgl. 900.-€ Kaution, wurden am Ende 622.-€ für die Kiste fällig. Es wurde auch versucht Mängel unterzuschieben.
Erst nach der Drohung mit der Polizei und dem Adressaustausch mit anderen Mietern, ging es alles ganz schnell!

Passt also auf und genießt euren wohlverdienten Urlaub!

Unfortunately I didn't go through the reviews before booking a car with them. They did not honor the contract tried charging us extra money, eventually we had to pay the extra money otherwise we would lose our deposit. They told us the car needs to be clean when we return it, which we did wash it same day, they started saying it's not clean enough and would hold off 150euros from the deposit. We were at a point of calling the police, but couldn't spend more time there or we would lose our flight. Very aggressive and rude people. I'm surprised they haven't shut this company with all these bad reviews

Es ist Alles gesagt! Auto im Vorweg online über VipCars gebucht. In Heraklion angekommen wurden 2 meiner Kreditkarten nicht akzeptiert. Es wurde aber nie eine Anfrage für die Kaution gestellt. Das weiß ich zu 100% da ich mich beim Kartenservice meiner Bank informiert habe. Statt dessen ein Angebot mit 200 € Kaution in bar und das Auto dann 3 Mal so teuer. Das habe ich natürlich nicht gemacht. Ich nenne es Abzocke und strategische Masche! Einfach unglaublich! Die Firma gehört angezeigt und zur Zwangsschließung verurteilt.

Une étoile et c’est encore bien payé. Ils font tout pour que le règlement soit fait par espèce pour bien évidemment fixer le prix qu’ils souhaitent pour une location de voiture. Nous sommes passé d’une location de 140€ à 330€ comme par magie.
À la réception du véhicule état des lieux intérieur et extérieur. 2min chrono en main. Au rendu, 15min à chercher le moindre défaut. Résultat il garde bien évidemment la caution de 200€.
Il y a sûrement d’autres enseignes sûrement bien mieux que celle ci.

Una stella perché meno non si può dare. Inseriti tutti i dati nella prenotazione arriviamo e ci dicono che non abbiamo inserito il numero del volo e la prenotazione cancellata. Uno schifo. Evitateli ad ogni costo!

I would not recommend CarandGo to anybody.
No pick up. Difficult to find. Surly staff. The car was old and covered in dents and scratches. Tyre pressure indicator on permanently. Central locking didn't work. High beam didn't work. Sidelight out. Passenger electric window didn't work. When I got there there was a man having a row with them.
When I returned the car after two weeks they said it wasn't clean despite having put it through a car wash before we drove there. I was told they would charge me €150. After some argument given the condition of the car, I was sent to a local garage and charged €40 for yhe car to be cleaned again. This is clearly a regular scam.
When I got back another man was arguing with them as the car was not as big as he had ordered.
The car would not pass an MOT in the UK ie not roadworthy

Il giorno 12/08/24 avevo una prenotazione a Heraklion per le 15:00. A causa di ritardi sono arrivato alle 16:00. Secondo il tipo che stava li la mia prenotazione era scaduta. Non c'è stato niente da fare e non mi hanno dato la macchina. Mi hanno proposto una tariffa a prezzo pieno, pagamento solo in contanti e vincolo di €800 sulla carta di credito.
Tra le clausole c'è anche quella di riconsegnare la macchina pulita e lavata. Tutti gli altri che erano li hanno avuto dei problemi, non ce n'è stato uno che avesse ritirato la macchina senza intoppi. Evitateli come la peste

Nous avons laissé 200 euros en espèces car nous n'avions pas une carte de crédit (nous avions nos CB) plus 60 euros car nous deposions la voiture au retour pour 5h45..
Personne au RDV nous avons attendu jusqu'à 6h..nous avons consulté les avis apres coup car nous avions un doute et nous découvrons que nous ne sommes pas les seuls..il semble évident que ce loueur ne doit pas être le seul à se comporter comme un voyou car personne pour recuperer les véhicules sur les loueurs alentours.
Nous avons loué partout ailleurs en Grèce sans avoir ce genre de problème. Évitez ils annoncent des prix corrects et au final la location à un prix exorbitant. Je précise que la voiture a été rendue propre et avec le plein.

Malafide praktijken bij Carandgo. Zowel de 2 stellen voor ons als wijzelf zijn door deze partij opgelicht. Zogenaamd deed bij niemand hun creditcard het waarbij ze je een alternatief geven om de borg cash te betalen (lager bedrag dan bij de creditcard) maar dan wel 20euro huur per dag extra. Let er ook op dat je creditcard 'embossed' is anders is dat ook een reden om niet geaccepteerd te worden.
Geen enkele medewerking om het probleem op te lossen en uitermate arrogant. We zijn weggelopen waar ze totaal niet verbaasd op reageerden. Helaas vooruitbetaalde kosten voor de verzekering kwijt. Later pas de reviews gelezen en spijt dat we hier hebben geboekt.

Terrible experience. We were told when we were picking up the car that we needed to have it washed before returning it. We went to a car wash the day before since we needed to return it prior to 6am to make our flight. Initially the rental told us that this is okay. When returning the car, the person working was super aggressive to us in his inspection, telling us that it wasn’t clean enough and that we should have inspected it when the car wash did it, that they did not do a good job. He was trying to point out grains of sand, which we could not see. He said he could charge us 150 euro for this but would only charge 50 euro. It was a complete shakedown using aggressive intimidation tactics, threatening to charge us even more.

The car hire was to cost €245.24 online. I paid €72.24 as a deposit and the balance was to be paid at the car company in Herkalion Airport from Carandgo.

When we arrived at the company they said we needed to give them €950 euro deposit as I didn't have a credit card. We offered to book it again and to change the name of the driver in order to use their credit card but they said it was not possible.

They then changed their mind and told me that I could pay €200 as a deposit but we would have to pay €30 per day to hire the car. This meant that the cost of the car was now €420. They also charged me a €40 out of hours charge as it was later than 9pm. So instead of €245.24 I paid €460.

When we returned with the car they said that the car was dirty and it they could only give €50 back to us. The inside of the car was cleaner than when we first hired it but as there was dust on the windscreen he said that they would need to take €150.

We were not happy with this arrangement and we said that we would wash the outside of the car. I asked for the car key and the woman in the office said that the contract was over and that she would not give me the key to get the car washed. They also said that it was too late to wash the car - this was another lie. The man in the office would not give any of the €200 back - he put the other €50 into his pocket. They printed out a receipt and said that the €150 taken from the deposit was for damages. The car was not damaged and only was a little dusty from driving.

I told them that I would ring the police. I rang the police and when they came I described what had happened. They asked me to make a police report but we had to catch our flight home. The police gave me their details and I will be filing a police report today.

The man in the office gave me back €50 just as the police arrived. The full cost of hiring car for one week came to in excess of €600 instead of €245.24.

They are liars and extremely rude. If you are going through car jet make sure you are NOT using carandgo.gr

“car and go “Does not apply it’s own rules! In the general conditions on the website there is a supplement of 60 euros for drivers older then 65 . This supplement is for each rental I.e. rentalperiod! In fact they tried to make me pay 8 times 60 euros! When I refused and said it was maximum 60 euros per rental they gave a discount of 100 euro on the extra amount of 520 on condition I would pay cash! I left the car and paid the rental total of the reservation! Such a bad experience never again! Scandalous! Fraude! I signalled the event to the rental agency of carjet but got no immediate reaction! Could not cancel the rental because I was 5 minutes later than the initial rental time at reservation! So : conclusion is “go somewhere else for a normal rental! Car and go , no! better go elsewhere for a car!

Stupido da parte nostra non controllare prima le recensioni su trust pilot, o meglio abbiamo cercato su Google l'azienda senza trovare risultati e non siamo andati oltre. Sbagliatissimo. Se avessi letto prima su trust pilot avrei immediatamente annullato la prenotazione. Che dire? Siamo stati graziati dal non avere con noi la carta di credito ma solo quella di debito. Allora il ragazzo furbetto con capelli corti e scuri, faccia da caxxo che mentre parli ti fa i suoni, ha provato furbamente a chiedere i soldi cash dicendo che la caparra invece di 900 diventava 200 e alzando il costo giornaliero dell'affitto, la fortuna vuole che semo romani e le sole le filamo da lontano. Salutati alla svelta e cambiato immediatamente rent, ce ne sono infiniti. Spero che falliscano miseramente e che il giovane ragazzo becchi qualcuno senza moglie e figlia che gli passi una sveja.

Anche voi stessa truffa? Se avete la stessa auto con lo stesso tipo di danno da loro segnalato è una chiara prova da usare contro di loro.
