Use to be good but something has changed

I have used this company a few times and it has been a generally smooth transaction. My last order went ignored and I requested they cancel it and refund it which to be fair he did. I placed my last order a week ago, the timeframe provided by the order confirmation advised I would have it by 26th. Not one update, I emailed multiple times finally after my third email I got a short email "Will check this order for you now" and I did not hear back, emailed again today asking for an update and have been advised all back orders will be sent out today. No mention on the website or the social media platforms of any back orders or as he has advised on other replies on this trust pilot of a move of warehouses from Galway to Dublin. The company is taking orders and offering no transparency on fulfilment issues. It seems to be no one can leave negative feedback for this company without the owner attempting to respond in a rather rude aggressive manner. Does not seem to comprehend customers are not here to be the learning curve for a business model, if you cannot accept sometimes people are not going to be happy with the service for varied reasons which they are entitled to then coming online and being rude says you are not built to have a business as you are not willing to take on board what's not working. Transparency & communication that is not rude will go down better than trying to do a smart mouth response. I would rather bring in items from other companies in the UK that are selling the same items, pay more and actually receive the service rather than spending here and hoping it goes smooth or worry that a rude response or no response will arrive. Don't forget without your customers spending money with you you would not have your business so you should be nicer to them I don't see people being rude on social media or in the reviews only the owner. An apology and follow through will serve you better than rude responses. I am fully prepared for a response of a rude nature therefore fully proving my point that the owner is incapable of handing any issues in a professional manner.

*Edit -I would like to thank you for your message. I can appreciate that you had logistical issues that is perfectly fine once communicated to the customer. I was advised this morning about all orders being sent out I replied and requested verification of this & again no communication. I did not cancel this order as I understand issues occur and I was hopeful that seeing as I was not being difficult perhaps you could see all I was seeking was the bare minimum which was a clear communication on the situation yet that never materialized. I have used your company a good few times and every time was great, could never see why people were complaining of price point considering it was all imported and therefore more expensive I still purchased I thought it was fantastic what you built here in Ireland to allow people the ease of buying an trying all things we can never get our hands on. I had no issues with delivery previously but since April 7th (which was the last order that was ignored) there is no transparency. I asked if you were unable or unwilling to fulfil the order just do a refund & nothing stopped you from openly communicating what you did below & I would of understood. To chase for an answer is what will cause the issues. I am hopeful to receive the update on the dispatch of this order & would like to chalk this last month of April to a unfortunate situation but the outcome of that will be how this order is handled.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this. I recognise the point you are making, especially given you have ordered with us before and had a smooth experience. That is exactly the standard we expect to deliver every time, so it is clear we fell short here.

Over the past few weeks we made two major operational changes at the same time. We moved warehouses from Galway to Dublin, which involved physically relocating and rebooking thousands of products, and we also launched across 22 Temu stores. In hindsight, taking both on together created pressure on fulfilment and communication that we should have managed better.

That is not something customers should feel. You are right to expect clear updates, accurate delivery timeframes, and quick responses to emails.

On your order specifically, I can see you had to follow up multiple times, and the response you received was not followed through properly. That is not the level of service we aim for. Where customers did not want to wait, we issued refunds immediately, as you mentioned, but the communication around delays should have been clearer from the outset.

We also sent out emails to affected customers with a 25 percent discount code as an apology for the delays. I am not sure why you did not receive that, but if you would like it, I will make sure it is applied for you.

On the point around tone, I take that seriously. There has been no intention to be rude or aggressive towards you or any customer. That said, if any reply has come across that way, then it needs to be addressed on our side. The focus should always be on resolving the issue and improving the experience, not adding friction.

We are now fully operational in the new warehouse, and the backlog has been cleared. Processes are in place to ensure orders are dispatched within the stated timeframes and that communication is clearer when anything falls outside that.

I appreciate you have alternatives and expectations around service. That is fair. All I can say is that the issues you experienced were tied to a specific transition period, not how we intend to operate going forward.

If you decide to give us another try, we will make sure the experience reflects the standard you originally had with us.

Ordered from them on 10.03.2026, on the same day i wrote to them to cancel the order, no response, before I got any reply they shipped the item, i wrote to them once more about cancellation, again no response, It’s 21.04 now I neither the response or the order( the Anpost tracking shows the package is available for pick up but where is any delivery notice where exactly did they left it cause I got nothing at all about it fr om them?).no cancellation or even reply to my email just pure scam and ignorance towards the customer. Avoid. This is about order #12867. The email on the order and from which I sent the cancellation requests to your listed email is different than the one I’m sending this review from cause the order was supposed to be a gift ;)
Edit : whats untrue? The fact that you didnt reply to my mails or the fact that the Anpost didn’t even leave me any notice where they left the package when i work from home and there is no way I couldve missed the delivery? And then you post tracking number completely ignoring the rest of the review when It clearly says I asked for a refund twice and got ignored by you guys xDDDD

Its been a month since i ordered off…

Its been a month since i ordered off the website and i still have got no news of my order being dispatched, i emailed a week ago and got an automated response saying I'd get a reply within 48 hours and still nothing,i don't think i'm getting my order or my money back and I've no way to get either since they won't respond to me or i can't claim a
refund, i wish i read more reviews before i used them but all i can do is to tell others to avoid them online because you're not guaranteed to get what you paid for

Useless scam

I have tried contacting numerous via email/instagram and telephone (which is a French number and does not connect) regarding an order #13096 the order should have been received by now and it has not even dispatched. As explained in my communications I am leaving back overseas now and want this order cancelled and my money refunded. If I do not receive some kind of response I am reporting this as fraud and a scam !!!!!

Hey - sorry about the delay we were moving warehouse from Galway to Dublin and some orders went missing - I have cancelled and refunded. If you check TikTok my Face is all over it and we have 20k followers so we are not a scam - also Iv no idea what number you are calling we have an Irish number so if your dialling a French number you have the wrong number

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service. No replies to my requests when I asked for an update on my order. When they finally replied it was an e-mail to say my order had been cancelled as per my request. I never asked for my order to get cancelled. 😡 I would never order from them again.

Ignored

I ordered 2 items, one at at discount as they had a short shelf life, the second full price but with an even shorter shelf life. I contacted the company who said they would refund, but they have since ignored my follow up emails and have not refunded. I would not use this company again,

I ordered from them off a TikTok live was not made fully clear about the date on the product which it was out of date in less than 5 days when I contacted candy cave I was met with a very passive aggressive reply quite rude and unprofessional, wouldn’t recommend this

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. For clarity, the product you purchased was a short dated item and the best before date was clearly stated in the product title and in the description in bold. This information was visible both during the TikTok live and on the product page before checkout.

The parcel was delivered and remained uncollected in a neighbour’s house for four days, which naturally reduced the remaining time on a short dated item. The price reflected this, as you paid €3.75 for a product that is normally €17 due to the short date which was disclosed upfront.

Even with all of this, a full refund was provided as a gesture of goodwill.
