I had an issue with my subscription, and it took a while to get it resolved. But the eventual outcome was positive.
Sadly, issues with getting timely support is common everywhere. But I am grateful that Calmio committed to resolve the issue and did so.

Following Emma’s reply, I got back in touch with Calmio. They explained to me that the payment was stuck with PayPal and that Calmio had no control over this.
Original text: That refund is currently being processed as a chargeback through PayPal. Because it’s going through PayPal’s own chargeback process, the timeline is controlled by them — which unfortunately means we’re not able to speed it up from our end, even though the refund itself is in progress.

Please rest assured that this is moving forward and the $55.99 will be returned to you; it is simply subject to PayPal’s processing time rather than something we can speed up directly. I’m sorry for the delay this has caused.

My enquiry with PayPal revealed that no refund is pending for me and that Calmio has retained the money.
I then wrote to Calmio again, to get my money back – now the company is playing dead.

I can only repeat… Scammers!

This company is a scam. I bought a one-week subscription there after seeing an advert on Instagram. Nowhere was there any mention of a subscription. I changed my mind and neither downloaded the app nor created an account, let alone used anything within the one-week subscription. After a week, $55.99 was suddenly debited from my PayPal account for subscription renewal. After sending numerous emails to customer support, a lady eventually replied and promised to refund the amount, and as a gesture of goodwill, the cost of the one-week access as well. The refund for the one-week access was indeed paid out. I am still waiting for the larger refund to this day. The case was then rejected by Calmio via PayPal, with the lie that I had been informed of the payment terms. Don’t buy anything from this company!!!
