I bought a car seat 3 months ago, and I honestly can’t agree with any of the negative comments I’ve been reading. It’s my favorite car seat, and my little poodle loves it too. The color, material, and overall quality are excellent. I highly recommend it!

I have ordered 3 things so far from By Teddy on Pets at Home app in preparation for the heat wave - cooling mat bag, cooling vest and the life jacket. The mat bag has been great to take on visits to cafes and the beach with folding up as a bag convenient and clever in design. The cooling vest is currently shared between my 2 dogs as they have been sold out in my required size - no surprise as they are high quality and really do work to cool down your pet. The life jacket is my absolute favourite - I take my youngest dog swimming and although the facility has life jackets, I like to put her in our paddling pool and take her to the beach so wanted my own. The owner of the swimming pool checked the jacket as some life jackets are not safe enough that are on the market and confirmed how brilliant it was. Love this brand so much, take my money!! 😂

Great quality products would recommend ByTeddy to all pet owners

I got some pieces from ByTeddy for my baby girl poodle toy that I’m getting tomorrow. Adored all the pieces: The Puffer car seat (marshmallow), from the summer breeze collection • the striped tote bag that turns into a cooling mat, the robe and tshirt. Thinking about the summer, hot temperatures decided to get the thermal bottle (white, cream or off white, don’t recall the name on the site). The quality, sense and touch of the products is great and the colors are beautiful (for those who love light and neutral colors)! Very satisfied with the choices!

I purchased the Hazelnut quilted carrier for my Cornwall holiday last week, I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with it, my Stanley is quite a shy dog and to have the carrier for him to sit in was honestly a game changer for my holiday, by the end of the week he was getting in it himself as soon as we sat down. Quality, style, functionality, all absolutely perfect, thank you

I’m honestly so impressed with the quality of these dog accessories. Everything arrived beautifully packaged and super quick! The materials feel premium.
The fit was perfect, the stitching is really well done, and my puppy loves wearing her cooking jacket ☀️.
Definitely one of the best pet brands I’ve purchased from and I’ll 100% be ordering again. Highly recommend to any pet owner looking for stylish and high-quality items for their dog 🐶

We found By Teddy almost 12 months ago now and love being part of their community. Their products are 100% the best quality and are made to last so you won’t be having to buy new all the time.

ur experience with Teddy has been nothing but amazing. From the very beginning, they’ve been incredibly kind and welcoming. When my dog Nova got to shoot for their summer collection, they were the absolute sweetest and made the whole experience so special and comfortable for us.
We truly love their products not only are they beautiful, but you can tell they’re made with care and quality. What first caught our attention was their car seat, and Nova instantly fell in love with it. She feels so comfortable and cozy laying in it, which means everything to me as a dog mom.

We have purchased the By Teddy Chocolate Quilted Settle Mat Tote. It’s absolutely beautiful in appearance and the quality and practicality of it is also perfect too ✨🤎 we have also ordered the car seat so we can’t wait to try that out. 5⭐️s

Absolutely love our new car seat for Bobby from By Teddy ! -The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The customer service was fantastic, the product is beautiful, and everything arrived so carefully and securely packed.

Most importantly... Bobby absolutely loves his new seat! You can really tell how much care goes into both the products and the customer experience. Highly recommend!

Absolutely obsessed with everything we’ve bought from byTeddy for Harper 🤍

The cooling blanket has been amazing to actually keep her cool in the warmer weather. The cozy bed is easily one of her favorite spots and honestly looks beautiful in the home too.
Everything feels really thoughtfully designed for both dogs and dog parents. Definitely one of the few pet brands that balances function + style really well.

We purchased the stunning Hazelnut Puffer Carrier and the Hazelnut Crossbody Lead. Both are absolutely beautiful. Excellent quality and a look of luxury about them. Our little Dachshund puppy absolutely loves snuggling up in her bag. It’s definitely a place she feels content and safe.
The bag has lots of compartments and added extras like a poo bag holder, removable mat, shoulder strap.. It’s just gorgeous.
The lead is perfect for handsfree walks meaning you can have a coffee and use your phone without any problems at all!
We’ve had many comments on both items!
We recommend them to everyone we see 🤍

The products from this brand are absolutely fantastic. I have the water bottle and settle mat which have been game changing for taking the dog out and about. The obsession then went into a dog bed which she loves and I have my eye on the quilted bodysuits. Great quality and fantastic products from such an aesthetically pleasing brand.

We’ve honestly loved By Teddy ever since Albie our miniature dachshund was a tiny puppy 🤎
We originally got the cosy car seat because he used to get car sick, and it genuinely helped so much. It made him feel way more settled and comfortable in the car, so since then we’ve kept going back and now have quite a few things from them like harnesses, clothes, accessories, the list keeps growing haha.
Everything is such lovely quality and you can tell a lot of thought goes into the products. They’re practical but still really stylish, and Albie always gets compliments when he’s wearing By Teddy.
Delivery has always been really fast too, which I always appreciate when ordering dog things!
Also just such a lovely brand overall with a really kind team behind it. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Super fast delivery, even to the Netherlands. Novi loves the step in harness; it is so comfortable for her to wear and I love the handsfree leash.
We also got the lifejacket, coolingmat and coolingvest so Novi can keep living her best life even in the summer heat ☀️

We couldn’t recommend By Teddy more!! We have a car seat/bed for our miniature dachshund (margottheminiature_) and we absolutely love it! We couldn’t live without it now - it goes everywhere with us and it’s so reassuring knowing Margot will chill or sleep in there if we’re in the car, cafe or the pub!

We also have the chocolate quilted sling which is a *stylish* life saver when Margot decides she no longer wants to walk 🤣 she’s a Velcro dog and being cuddled up in the sling on us is perfect for her to relax when out in public.

The quality of the products are amazing and they look so elevated and stylish! The communication from By Teddy is so efficient and friendly. Thank you By Teddy! X

LOVING the new cooling mat and matching cool vest! The vest actually fits a dachshund and the cooling mat is so comfy Ralph actually sits on it!! 5 🌟 🥰

Fabulous speedy delivery! Purchased the item Thursday at 10pm and it was delivered Saturday at 1pm! Now to talk about the incredible product! My dog has been a bit of a whiner/barker in the car so I purchased the puffer car seat and it’s a game changer! We drove 1hr today and the only time he barked was out of excitement when we arrived at our destination! He never normally lies down will sit the whole way but he actually was so relaxed he fell asleep! I can’t recommend this enough! The quality of the bed is amazing too! Love that you can unzip the stuffing to wash it!

Amazing quality. I ordered a small car seat and exchanged for a large so she can grow into it and the whole process was so simple and I recieved my large car seat soo quickly!
Thank you so much! My new go to online dog store!!!

We purchased a car bed for our labradoodle puppy. Within 2 months the strap which you clip to his collar had totally torn away from the bed, the stitching having come totally undone. At this point he was barely 5 kilos and only 4 months old, there’s absolutely no way he was strong enough to pull it off on his own. Customer service claimed this had never once happened on the thousands of beds they’ve sold, a claim I now doubt…

They had us return the bed and sent us out a new one. After 3 months, exactly the same thing again. He’s now nearly 8 months and just over 10 kilos, but again simply wouldn’t be strong enough to entirely rip the strap away from the bed. He does not pull on the strap to the extent this should even be possible, the most he does is stand up to look out the window. These are genuinely unsafe products and I’d strongly warn anyone against purchasing one if they care for their dog’s wellbeing.

UPDATE:
ByTeddy flagged this review for removal for defamatory content, which Trustpilot sensibly rejected. You can see in ByTeddy's reply that they are insisting the strap was chewed apart by the dog. This is simply untrue, I have photos of both broken straps - dogs don't chew in perfectly straight lines along stitching and even if they did, the area which ripped was underneath the cushion of the bed!

ByTeddy got in touch with my via email after this review. After initially asking if there was anything that could be done to get me to remove the review, they then resorted to pretty much saying I was lying ("For it to happen twice with you, I would make the educated conclusion that this is down to how the product has been used by the dog."), and when I rejected this, threatened to report me "through the appropriate channels". Threatening to report a customer concerned about the wellbeing of other people's pets to the police is genuinely disgraceful for any company, not least one which is fortunate enough to now be stocked by John Lewis. Rest assured I have passed all photos and email chains to them, who are reviewing their relationship with ByTeddy internally. They have agreed with us via email that the response we received from ByTeddy was unacceptable and unprofessional.

Avoid this company like their plague. Their products are unsafe and employees rude.
