I’ve got all sorts of guns, I’ve got an air rifle of the top drawer sort, I’ve had shotguns, bbs, air soft, every sort, I bought my bug a salt under protest with myself thinking it’s going to be rubbish but get one in case, and I’m so glad I did, it’s brilliant and a lot more effective than I thought. Best thing I’ve bought in years, threw my electric bat away, I love it. And if you can’t get any flies in, get someone to throw raisins up and try and hit them, it’s like clay pigeon shooting. 😀

Delivered via Royal Mail. Arrived 2 working days after the order. Some of the reviews mention it doesn’t kill flies but the instructions do make it clear you have to be within 3ft. It definitely does kill them if you’re close enough. Bought the laser with it but works great without too. Only had it a few days so can’t say anything about the longevity of it.

I was genuinely excited to try Bug-A-Salt, but the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. I ordered expecting the stated 2–4 day delivery time — in fact, I even built in a 5-day buffer just in case. Turns out, they not only miss their own deadlines, they don’t take any responsibility for it and make zero effort to make it right.

Summer is exactly when you’d want this product the most, yet that seems to be when they fail the hardest. I can’t even tell you if it’s a good product because now I’ll have to cancel my order. Honestly, until you can get it at the same price on Amazon (with reliable shipping), I’d recommend holding off. Great concept, but terrible follow-through

The bad reviews makes no sense. Works a dream, had mine for three years now and still works a charm. Depending on aize of the flies you have to alter the distance. If the fly is small, go a bit further back because you’ll splatter it. If it’s fat and chunky, get a bit closer- you might also need a couple of shots, but it’s fine as you’ll probably knacker its wings and it’ll be slightly immobilised.
Quit complaining and just learn to use it properly and it’ll be the best fly cancelling tool ever!

I love my bug a salt, arrived just over a week ago and stupidly left it hidden behind the air fryer which melted the salt hopper and part of the body. Filled in the warranty form and they’re sending me a new one out even though it was completely my fault. Just bought the laser too for added accuracy. I use kosher salt, table salt doesn’t really kill as quick as i’d like. Very impressed by this fun bit of kit.

It just the most reliable tool/toy ever. Works perfectly going on 5 years.i have both the rifle and the hand revolver.
For the price, its worth every penny. Just love it!!

Holy cow crap Batman! I looooove this gun, day one and over 50 flies were shot and I was able to introduce their a**holes to their brains, the gun is accurate and easy to use and the best thing brought for me in ages 😁 if you want to send flies to fly hell and in millions of pieces you need to get this gun. #letaholesmeetbrain

3 days of delivery slots (1hr). Nada arrives. In addition. Delivery was free but asked to sign up for newsletter and receive a discount code. Delivery for free deleted and overall cost higher than before. What a scam! Shame on you!

Have this a year and enjoying my second fly season, absolutely brilliant bit of kit. Big flies normally take a second hit to take down, works wonders on mosquitoes as well!

After experiencing issues with my bug a salt 3.0 I contacted the warranty team. As it was bought from a retailer they advised me to contact them. They never engaged or returned any of my messages. You’d have thought the manufacturer that vows such a great warranty would honour a faulty product but nope, just palmed me off. Disappointed indeed

I just shot another fly with my Bug-a-salt. In some cases it is more convenient to use this gun, in other cases I use the electronic swatter. In every case I'm having more fun shooting them!
One point of criticism: one time my gun got stuck and I had to watch a dumb video that got to the troubleshooting part after a couple of minutes. Please make a separate video with only troubleshooting and without the awful jokes.

Have had it for 2 years and works really well I use slightly coarser salt for max killing power, good fun, but not for the flies

It’s a great idea but unfortunately it’s useless. I can hit flies dead on and they just fly off.
Not worth the money at all.

trigger broke within first months, cant get parts to fix it. no customer service or parts available. dont waste your money

I asked for this as a xmas present. glad i didnt have to spend my own money on it.The idea is cool. The salt is not enough to kill the fly. Sure it has some power behind the shot however I have been at close range of a meter away and hit a bullseye and it just flies off. Needs better bullets
