Bug-A-Salt Recenzje 

Have waited until I've used the bug a salt version 3.0 for just over a week now to make sure I can give a realistic review,
And to be honest it's really good, kills house flies no problem, blue bottles take two shots! Don't expect to kill flies from a great distance as that's not what it's designed for, but it's brilliant fun, no more flies in my house lol🙂

I think some people just expect to much, I dont see why this would have any negative reviews unless you have a faulty gun. I brought my bug-a-salt not overly expecting miracles. But man it works, might take a few shots but if you set up the red dot site properly its great. Usually takes the wing out then you go in for the kill. It the best thing for killing flying beasts and oddly satisfying. Strangely when I see a fly and get my gun its like they know and bug out before I get to have fun. This is great fun and does not disappoint. Don't listen the wife of the nay sayers. Just get one. I might have to buy another so I have one upstairs and downstairs lol. Peace out bug killers.

Best investment I have ever made, once I got the hang of it perfect, no batteries, no charging, pop table salt in top ready to go, I would definitely advise any one who is thinking about getting one , don't think get one does spiders as well no mess on walls can be safely directed at windows uPVC no damage at all, Bug a salt guys thank you who ever invented it you deserve a medal 🏅 well done, delivered very quickly fabulous product

This is awesome, since I bought this thing I keep my windows open all the time waiting for flies to fly in. It even works against mosquitoes. Takes a bit of practice but depending on how fly infested your area is it doesn't take a very long time to become proficient. For bigger flies you may need to double or triple tap them.

Produkt ist gut, habe die zweite Pistole aber zurückgeschickt weil zuviel, da war der Support auch greifbar, dann bei Nachfrage wo denn die Erstattung bleibt wird nach der Sendungsnr. gefragt damit sie das Lager prüfen könnten, gesagt getan Nachweise dass es zugestellt wurde habe ich übermittelt, aber leider passiert nichts, keine Rückerstattung, also Vorsicht SCAM wenn man die Ware zurückschickt.

Leider sehr schade!!! Jetzt wohl dann Anzeige.

Update: endlich wurde erstattet, nach drei Wochen seitdem das Produkt wieder bei Ihnen war, daher Erhöhung auf drei Sterne. Ich erwarte keine Abwicklung wie bei Amazon, aber drei Wochen ist auch nicht Best Practice

Bought this after reading all the good and bad points and reviews. We get flies living in a rural location. If you take the time to set the bug a salt up properly and dial in the salt pattern vs distance you will have no problems and it works brilliantly! I set the kill range at about 14 inches. Stun and knock down at about 18 to 24 inch. Beyond that it will only worry your target fly! So ise it as intended at a range as intended and its a devastating weapon against these winged terrors. Under 12 inch range and you will be picking bits of decimated fly out your breakfast. Great product works every time and actually well built and well worth the high price. Turns an annoying task i to a fun hours searching out every last little critter. Its effective and a hoot. 5 stars from me and i never bother with reviews for anything but this just deserved write up.👍

Bug assault, mine was more like bug slightly annoyed. Absolutely useless, I have only managed to kill one fly at point blank range and even then it took about 6 shots to finish it off. You would kill more flies by hitting them over the head with the gun.

After about a month using this toy I so far have not been able to kill a single fly with one shot. It just stuns them even at point blank range and you need to finish them with an electric swatter before they recover and fly off.
Maybe I got a duff one? Don’t be fooled by all the marketing hype - it’s overpriced and ineffective so don’t waste your money!

Anyone who said this does not kill flies, is either a terrible aim or 3m away instead of 3 feet. Within 2 hrs of receiving it I killed dozens of blue bottles, spiders, moths and slugs. I am an experienced shooter with all types of firearms and I find this bug a salt just as much fun.

I LOVED the concept and idea! I don't like the inconsistancy of the power of each shot. All of you guys that needed a second shot...it wasn't YOUR aim! It was that this product did not have the punch to kill on the 1st attempt.
Shoot your hand 10 times in a row and FEEL the inconsistancy in shots. That's all.
Also, she leaks salt crystals when tip down👎🏽
Not enough stippling on gun

Gun stopped working 10 months after buying it. Thankfully it has a one year warranty however because I purchased the item from Amazon, the company didn’t honour the warranty and just ignored my emails.

Hello all I just wanted to give my opinion on the purchase I made for my bug a salt pick,
I picked the bug a salt
"Widow Maker" mostly because I didnt want the expensive task of having to keep buying CO2 cartridges ,that being said , and guys this is just my opinion, everyone has there right to have an opinion , and mine is
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE WIDOW MAKER , very close up it kills flies ,but say you have 3 or 4 of those knats or mosquitoes buzzing around your light, you can actually see the salt spraying out ,yet maybe after 15 shots you will start knocking the little bugger's down.
I'm not happy at all , and if I could get my $80 dollars back I would , but I kept it laying around probably too long for a refund. An $80 dollar fly swatter that doesn't always kill very well. I'm sure the other guns with CO2 work a lot better , but guys don't waste your money on the widow maker, its fun for about an hour, and thats about it. I will say the later site is cool. But your better off buying 80 dollar store fly swatters.
Again just my opinion. Take care all.

Got my bug a salt 3.0 combat edition today. Had about 20 flies on porch. This Black fly edition went on its first combat mission. Wiped them all out in less than 2 minutes. Interestingly, it kills them but doesn't splatter them. Range, about 3 feet. Only complaint--really hard trigger pull, after 25 shots finger gets sore.

My Bug Assault shredder didn’t even last a year. This was a Father’s Day gift in 2025 and the first one failed within 3 months. The issue is with the seal for the CO2 cartridge. The first one failed and the team at bug assault were very nice and mailed me a replacement unit after I mailed my old unit back to them. The second unit has lasted about 8 months. Same issue. Replacing a CO2 cartridge is an issue. The first two times went well but when I went to replace the cartridge the third time it failed to seal and all the CO2 leaked out. Four cartridges later I gave up. Now I am stuck with a bunch of CO2 cartridges and a lot of the salt reloads for the shredder and no shredder. I threw the thing in the trash. What a joke. No one does product testing any longer.

After nearly a year of use, I still consider the Gold Digger v3 gun my go-to for bug problems and outdoor toys. Recently, it won’t discharge salt, causing bugs to fly away due to air pressure. I emailed customer service, provided the requested information, and shipped the defective gun back for analysis. I received a call confirming the shipment of a replacement. The return process was seamless, and the replacement arrived quickly.

The customer service team at Bug-A-Salt is absolutely fantastic. I had an issue with my order and delivery and Claudia from their service helped get everything sorted. The product is awesome! Good power, looks awesome. Bugs will regret coming into my house now!

Best gift we bought this Christmas. Was a bit worried that I might have wasted $80, but me and my teenaged kids had great fun with it. As the reviews that I read said, you need to be within a couple of feet of your target, so you need to be patient. Makes you feel like a big game hunter (but with tiny game). There might be more effective pest control methods, but none more fun.

Bought as a Christmas present so not used the item yet, but what's the point of sticking it in a plain cardboard box for shipping, and then sticking a label on it saying EXACTLY what's inside? Absolutely braindead! No point wrapping the bugger now. Have a serious word with your warehouse! Stupid.

So I had a bad review up on here and then my son told me how to use it properly and since him telling me I have killed all the flys I've seen. So sorry for the bad review earlier. So now I love this gun 😁
PS don't be so close to the fly when shooting it it works much better.
