Brake Free and their products are just amazing.
Bringing riders safety to another level.
Everything is made with special attention for the clients and it’s suited for everybody that wears a helmet.
Yes it’s a bit on the pricey side, not everybody would be able to afford it but if you’re in the hobby, it’s worth it.
I recomand with product fully, you won’t be sorry.

Fantastic product
UAU, great experience. This product is amazing, I really notice the difference riding with it, specially at night. Cars are much more aware, and I don't have to be all the time thinking to press the brakes every time I slow down. I was looking for something like this to my motorbike break light, but all I found didn't work properly. The Brake Free algorithm is the best I saw and, using it on the helmet, makes me much more visible from behind. Thanks, João, for bringing this to Europe and for all your support. It's more than 5 stars 👍.
PS. I saw some comments regarding the price, of course it will be better a smaller price, but we buy GoPro and other cameras more expensive and this can save our life's. There's no price for that.

Excellent product, excellent service !
Order process went flawless and additional items purchased later were added to same shipping box, sparing additional shipping fees, thanks to the kind and very responsive BrakeFreeTech EU representative.
BrakeFree device is definitely the best of it´s class and works brilliantly EXACTLY as advertised, which is very uncommon for new high-tech devices. It adds maximum safety to every bike-ride since most motorcycles are equipped with only tiny small backlights and needs NO installation of cables. Just charge, click on the helmet (or topcase) and You are good to go and to be seen by even the dumbest car-driver.

Brake Free - USB–C - Covert Black
I preordered the newer version Brake free light that has USB-C charge point and everything went as planned.
Just the postage was very high at 16.90 euros.
Due to postage cost I will not be ordering a second XL mount for my other helmet.

Good product for safety reasons however the price is a bit spicy. Align US and EU prices and every biker in Europe will purchase your product.
My criticism is really meant to be constructive. Good quality product (it seems up until now since i have used the product only for few days). Great innovative idea. The algorithm of opening the brake is good but not excellent. In few words, it is not in perfect coordination with actual braking lights. Maybe just needs a reset. The price in Europe is higher compare to the US. Shipping prices could be better. Customer Service is more than excellent (Congrats to Joao!!). On the other hand, I feel confident that they are under-staffed.

You’re absolutely right: pricing differences between the US and EU can be frustrating. We’d like to clarify that in the EU, prices must include VAT, and shipping + import duties are handled upfront—unlike in the US, where state tax is added later and prices often exclude duties. Still, your point is valid, and we’re always looking for ways to reduce costs and improve alignment.
Regarding the brake light timing—yes, a sensor reset can often improve response. If you need help with that, I’d be happy to guide you through it.
And thank you for the kind words about customer service—it means a lot! You’re also correct that this is a lean, rider-led operation. But we put heart and hustle into every step of the process.

I have bought this product in advance for my scooter and for motorcycle unlimited ccm licence training. I got very possitive feedback from trainer and from official upon licence exam. I am happy and satisfied with this product. Maybe I will cause some commotion between drivers because this product may not be common in Czechia 😀 I will be more than happy to recommend this product to others.

This product is amazing
This product is amazing - recommend for all bikers. Product is definitely 5 star. However, thank Brexit the cost and customs of purchasing this in the UK from Europe is ridiculous and its a good 50% more expensive than the US cost. Buy it in the US and bring home in hand luggage.

We completely understand your frustration with the additional UK customs charges post-Brexit. Unfortunately, these are beyond our control, but we agree—it has made it more confusing in terms of pricing for UK-based riders. Due to Brexit we ship all UK order excluding duties & taxes, however we often still hear that it surprises riders and the charged was frowned upon. Buen producto, aunque con un sistema de sujeción que no está a la altura.
The product works very well and has a fairly good light intensity.
The weak point is the helmet attachment system. A simple adhesive attached to the helmet and the product hanging as if it were a picture, does not give me much confidence that it will not fall off the helmet in a sudden movement of the helmet.
I previously had the Cosmo Connected, another product similar to yours... and this one was attached with a very powerful magnet... it was practically impossible for it to come loose on the road if it was not directly hit.
In my humble opinion, you should improve this point in future versions of the Break Free, which, by the way, is an excellent product.
