I recently purchased a dress for £189 and was shocked to receive a Royal Mail card telling me I had to pay an additional £60 customs charge. When I placed the order, I checked the website carefully and there was no mention anywhere of extra fees for delivery to the UK.

This unexpected charge has made the dress far more expensive than I anticipated. To make matters worse, I’ve emailed the company multiple times and have yet to receive any response—and there’s no phone number to call, so you can’t actually speak to anyone.

Unfortunately, I won’t be buying from them again. Just wanted to share my experience as a warning—buyer beware!

Absolutely awful quality. My friend and I ordered 4 garments between the two of us- spent over $800, and when they finally arrived (a week late) we were stunned by the quality. Everything was glued on and falling apart. They refused our request for a refund, giving us store credit even though there isn’t a single thing I would order again.

De body Medium, maat 38 te klein. Ik had een L moeten hebben. Mijn advies een maat groter bestellen. Body moest voorzichtig los gemaakt worden, stof van gaas,, dit zat vast geplakt. De gekleurde steentjes zaten goed vast. Retour aangetekend 30 mei, kosten 12,60 euro via PostNL. Ontvangst 13 juni, pakket was afgeleverd bij een afhaallocatie Carlav 53, 11449 Stockholm. Werd pas op 18 juni door de winkel afgehaald. Na vele berichten met Jennifer en Rebecka, eindelijk een reactie door Rebecka dat ze de body retour had gemeld bij Klarna. Gelukkig via Klarna besteld en niet gelijk betaald! Mijn retourkosten omdat het artikel te klein was, is opgelopen naar retourkosten 12,60 euro via postNL+ 16,95 euro via Born in Stockholm voor de verzending. De retour heeft mij gekost in totaal 29,55 euro. Persoonlijk geen goede ervaring. Misschien heb je iets aan mijn advies?

I ordered a dress for my hen party recently and didn’t realise the dress was on back order, so I had paid for it and then realised it might not come in time. I reached out to them via their chat function and they were SUPER helpful, within a day they rushed through my order to make sure it would finish being made in time and they booked it in for express delivery (which I hadn’t paid for). My hen is this weekend and it arrived 4 days before and I love it, originally it wasn’t meant to arrive in time at all. Couldn’t be more impressed with their customer service ❤️

If there was a zero star option I would press that!
I ordered the raquel mirror dress at a cost of £167 .
I was charged a further £58 for customs before it could be delivered.
I have just received it , it’s disgusting, lots of the mirrors are missing, it’s chap nasty fabric, not at all shaping like stated in the description.
The packaging was terrible, it was just shoved into a plastic bag .
It will literally drop to bits after one wear !
I have had better items from SHEIN at £20 !
I have also ordered the boots , they have not arrived yet but I’m not hopeful.
You can not return for a full refund, only offer credits, as if I would want to replace with another item from this scam of a company.
I shall be taking this further!!!

I spent 200 plus shipping (and was later liable for £67 customs after the parcel was delivered.

The dress was not lined, had no edging on the garment and was the poorest quality material and finish. The shells were stuck on with glue and the strap at the top of the neck had a plastic popper and again no stitching round the edge of the material. I am shocked at how the items are presented in pictures. The dress fitted me but it was the poorest quality and very expensive. It had a cheap label sewn on the back and came in a polythene package.

Luxury is the furthest away description possible. These items would be ideal if being sold for £20 but do not spend £200 on this without expecting to have your mouth open in disappointment.

I purchased some items from Bourne in Stockholm in the amount of over $600 I only received one item out of eight things I ordered. This order was placed on April 2 and it is now the end of June. I contacted them. They sent me the tracking and the package has been stuck somewhere since the middle of May they refuse to help and keep saying that I have to contact the shipping company however, the shipping company says that the sender needs to contact them. I am very disappointed. Do not order from this company. Very bad customer service.

Dont order!! They dropship from Ali express for over 3x the price!! And if you want your order to be canceled they dont do that you have to send it back at your OWN cost!! So sad i spend so much money en did not look at this review site sooner. (Echt niet doen dames!! Zonde van je geld) ik moet het eerst nog zien terug te krijgen.

Possibly the worst online purchasing experience ever - ordered a jumpsuit for an event, had 7 - 10 days delivery stated, emails bounced & online chat went unanswered regarding delivery. I sent repeated messages requesting the order be cancelled as the event had passed - no response until a note that it had been dispatched whereupon they answered that I could return via the usual method (I pay for return courier & import tax will be deducted, making it unviable, which I believe they know).

Eventually materialised in the UK over a month later & £75 tax to pay to HMRC for import tax to be delivered.

This may not be a scam site but their business practices are dubious. Avoid.

Ok . I sometimes like to write reviews for restaurants but I don’t even think I’ve written a review for an item of clothing . But I just had to .
I am heading to Ibiza in a few days and I will be going to a lot of parties … I fell in love with the Eloa festival rhinestone jumpsuit . It was exactly what I was looking for . Now I read the reviews and some of them weren’t great BUT I also read the other reviews which WERE great and I thought I’m going to trust my instinct and not take the lead from a few negative reviews and go ahead and purchase this item of clothing . As a prior business owner I know how difficult it can be to get a negative review whilst feeling it’s deeply deeply unfair . So I bought the item , paid for express delivery . Guess what ? , it came in the time frame that it said it would come . It comes very carefully packaged and in a lovely tote bag . It is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous ! And it is not cheap BECAUSE of the quality .. it’s clearly handmade ( as in each gemstone and crystal glue on individually and extremely secure !) and it is so so so comfortable . I have had so many incredible compliments and I will also be wearing it this year for several festivals . Also just to mention I communicated with Rebecka who was beyond helpful when I sent an email re delivery , she got back to me straight away and was delightful to deal with . Honestly , I am so HAPPY with this jumpsuit ! Do not think twice !

I got a Lovela feather jacket with sequins in OS and I am a XL, +0 or +1 and it fit EPICALLY, I often have issues with jackets being tight in the top but this still will fit most people just right. I am soooo in love it, it's sooo nice and well made. I am very pleased. It arrived in 10-days, which surprised me as I give most places several weeks to a month depending on shipping location for delivery. It came in appropriate packaging as well.
