I have purchased from this store several times because of its creativity. For what these pieces cost, I should not need multiple trips to a tailor just to make them wearable. On my first order, the stitching was already coming undone on one of the skirts. On my second order, the mirror-futuristic jumpsuit began falling apart after only one night. The sizing is also inconsistent. Even when I follow the size guide, I still need alterations. I have spent over $100 on EACH order on tailoring alone. I do like the designs, but for handmade, high-priced pieces, I expected much better durability and construction.

The item I received was accurate to the picture (hence the 2 stars) but the quality was awful. It felt like a bad Temu item (some Temu items I love), DH gate or Ali express. They definitely bought this from China for $6 and marked it up to $93. The tag that said “L”for large was sewn on shredded, backwards and uneven like a cheap $1.99 special. The Glitter sheds like crazy. I’m just grateful I only ordered one item. I’ll wear it once as a beach coverup and put it on poshmark for $15.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They charge additional pick up fees if you’re in USA. I was not aware of that and to return the package it’s also an additional fees. FRAUD COMPANY.

Do not buy from this company - they have zero customer service - they say you have to contact them for returns/ exchanges, but they dont reply, they dont answer their online chat. Then you will get undisclosed import duties further raising the price significantly. All of their stuff is from AliBaba super cheap you can find on other websites for 75% less. At their high end luxury prices I was expecting exceptional pieces - and responsive customer service, both of which are non existent and products are misrepresented.

I paid £170 for this outfit as well as £53 for customs fees as in the UK. It’s for my 40th party and so I wanted something really special. The material is cheap rubbish and the mirrors have just been hot glued on and are really sparse. No sewing and the print on it looks so poor. For such an expensive garment, I’d expect much more. Given that I’m in the UK, I’d only be eligible to have store credit or an exchange. I’d lose the £50 I paid for customs as well. Very disappointing to say the least. I won’t be buying again.

Just wrong in every way!! My order was a month late - so missed the event I purchased my playsuit for, plus it did not fit me properly, plus it was of poor quality, plus I was hit with import taxes TWICE (approx. £120) as they shipped my order in two parts without my approval (l also bought a fur coat, which I had decided to keep, although the quality is not great). No clear mention on website of only offering exchanges or gift vouchers to UK customers, so after I returned my playsuit, I was not refunded. Sent a gift voucher instead, which I am unable to use as their stock is so limited -I don't want to order swimwear or a festival outfit, which does not leave much else to chose from their website. I placed my initial order in early June and in September it's still unresolved. So so upset with their customer care and I'm out of pocket of nearly £300!! I feel a real injustice has taken place and they do not even care.

DO NOT Purchase from them if you live in the US. I purchased 3 items and received 2 of the 3 and had to pay an extra $31 customs tax I was unaware of. The 3rd item was not in my package and they apparently shipped it separately so I got a notification saying I owe another $21 for an item that I paid only $16 for. They will not respond to emails or messages. I want my refund for the 3rd item immediately as it will be returned to them via customs after 5 days. Terrible customer service and their lack of transparency of additional customs fees should be illegal. It says if you read through terms the purchaser is responsible however it would be helpful to provide what those costs would be. Nonetheless respond to emails.

I ordered a dress with the expectation it would arrive within 3-7 days as outlined on the site. However, after 10 days and no communication despite mails and messages sent via chatbot,(there is no phone number to call). I was finally told the item was on back order so as soon as it was ready it would be sent express delivery. The item was eventually sent more than 2 weeks after the order was first made. I then received a call from customs telling me if I wanted to claim the dress I owed £70. The dress cost £199. I chose not to accept dress given it was so late and all the issues encountered so it was returned as unclaimed. A refund was issued minus the customs costs. So all in all I am left out of pocket and still minus a dress. All I would advise if you choose to purchase from this shop then make sure to be prepared that you will not be told the item is on back order. Communication is ad hoc and significant customs fees will be charged in addition if ordering to the UK.

I was SO excited about my dress!! Unfortunately I had to wait 4 weeks for it as it was "made to order". It is stated on website, albeit not very clearly.
Anyways, 4 weeks go by and I excitedly receive my package only to realize that it's - drop shipping. It's exactly the same as lower priced competitors - Born In Stockholm just take better pics.

Sequins fall off - they're not even sewed on. They're GLUED on.

Backside has way less sequins - it's mostly just fabric. If you zoom in on the images, you can tell.

Bottom line - was so so excited!! Got MASSIVELY disappointed. Honestly such a scam to charge 300 euro for this quality & service. STAY AWAY!!!

Ordered to ship to UK. Did not expect to get stung by DHL for an additional £224 customs charges that were not mentioned when ordering (and I will not be paying). I have tried to contact Born in Stockholm several times times to arrange return to sender, with no response on chat or to emails.
For the cost of the bodysuits and dresses I would have expected excellent customer services, or at least some service, not total radio silence!
I would not recommend ordering from here unless you are confident you will not need any interaction with this company after purchase or are willing to pay excessive customs charges!!

Ich kann Born in Stockholm leider nicht weiterempfehlen, auch wenn mir die Designs und Outfits sehr gut gefallen und wirklich außergewöhnlich sind.

Mein bestelltes Spiegelkleid konnte zunächst nicht zugestellt werden. Ich habe – entgegen der Zusage – keine E-Mail mit einer Sendungsverfolgung erhalten und daraufhin mehrfach versucht, das Unternehmen zu kontaktieren: über das Kontaktformular, den Chatbot auf der Website, Instagram und per E-Mail. Auf keinem dieser Kanäle bekam ich eine Antwort. Erst als ich mit rechtlichen Schritten drohte, erhielt ich eine Rückmeldung per E-Mail.

Positiv ist zu erwähnen, dass mir das Kleid kostenlos erneut zugesendet wurde. Allerdings dauerte auch dieser Versand weitere drei Wochen. Als das Kleid heute ankam, folgte die nächste Enttäuschung: Viele der Spiegelelemente waren bereits abgefallen, da sie lediglich auf den Stoff geklebt sind. Für ein Kleid, das ursprünglich über 200 € kosten soll, ist das absolut inakzeptabel – die Qualität von günstigen Shops wie Temu oder SHEIN ist deutlich besser.

Aufgrund des mangelhaften Kundenservices werde ich auf eine Rücksendung verzichten, auch wenn ich davon ausgehe, dass das Kleid maximal für einen einmaligen Gebrauch taugt.

Had ik hier maar eerder gekeken. Superslechte kwaliteit stof. Op Temu of SHEIN vind je dezelfde kwaliteit alleen bij Born in Stockholm hebben ze de items beter gefotografeerd. Retourneren bleek ook een heikel punt. Geen retourformulier na drie keer mailen kreeg ik uiteindelijk een adres waarheen ik het kon sturen. Via DHL verstuurd € 18. En later krijg ik dan een mail dat een sale item niet geretourneerd kan worden. Tuurlijk complete onzin, volgens de richtlijnen binnen de EU mag je altijd retourneren binnen 14 dagen of drie weken. Dus ik ben er nog steeds zoet mee en ik raad iedereen aan om hier vooral niet te kopen en je zeker niet te laten verleiden door de mooie foto’s, want de kwaliteit is helemaal ruk.

I purchased a maxi dress for 343 EURO and what I received looked nothing like the website photos.

The color was a off grey instead of transparent mesh and the glitter was falling off immediately as I took the garment out of the packet and covered my house.

It was very cheaply made, the material didn't fall at all in the way as advertised. Overall very disappointing,

Ik kocht een harnass top en betaalde €61,- En vlak nadat ik deze binnen kreeg zag ik precies dezelfde top voor €6,- bij shein. Ik voel me zo opgelicht. Dus ik stuur een bericht met de vraag hoe ik het terug kon sturen. Ze zeiden met het retourformulier die bij het pakket zit. Die zat er natuurlijk niet bij. Toen ik een printscreen stuurde van shein en het bedrag en zei dat ik me opgelicht voelde kreeg ik geen reactie meer. Ik koop nooit meer hier!! Kijk gewoon op shein allemaal! Daar kun je hetzelfde vinden voor veel goedkoper. Hun foto’s zijn gewoon beter waardoor je verleid word.

Usel kvalité. Rent Kina skräp till premium avgift och omöjligt att säga upp deras nyhetsmail.. avreggat men fortsätter att få dem..
