I contracted Book Writing Inn and Johnathan to edit my manuscript, with a clear agreement that the service would be completed within 30 days. It has now been over four months, and the manuscript I received was riddled with errors, rendering it completely unfit for publication.

Despite repeated follow-ups, they failed to correct their work or meet basic editorial standards. I missed two important publishing deadlines, incurring not only financial losses but reputational damage. Their only deliverable — the book cover — was based solely on my concept and direction, with no added creative input from their team.

I have since had to pay another professional to fix their mistakes, effectively paying twice for the same service. I have requested either a refund or the source files (PSD) of the book cover which is based on my intellectual property, and have been met with silence and evasiveness.

This experience has been nothing short of unprofessional and exploitative. I do not recommend Book Writing Inn to any serious author or professional. I am currently exploring legal and regulatory channels to ensure they are held accountable.

I have all my evidences and i am going ahead to take legal actions against them. DONT BE CAUGHT IN THEIR WEB OF INCOMPETENCE.

I took on Book Writing Inn as their publication package looked ideal for my needs.
Unfortunately, some months into the process, I have now been subjected to a 350% price hike in order to get my book to publication. This came out of the blue, with no prior warning, after I have already paid my initial fees.
I asked the company for a response some days ago and nothing has been forthcoming.
I feel that I have no option but to warn other potential customers of this sharp business practise in the hope that nobody else falls for this.
I am looking into how I can obtain a full refund for my fees, but I am not hopeful .
