In around February 2026 I bought 2 lots of Rose plants which were 3 for £10. I SPECIFICALLY chose them because they were marketed as FRAGRANT.
I am an experienced gardener and planted them all appropriately.
Only 3 grew well the others died. My main disappointment is that ALL surviving roses are NOT FRAGRANT at all‼️
These roses are from a company called De-Ree UL Ltd.
I want B& M to know they are marketing bluff.

Portmadoc store a nightmare .Labelling and pricing incorrect on a lot of items.Whilst B and M is very welcome in Portmadoc ,shopping there can be frustrating, as having to get things price checked .This is a regular problem Staff dont look very happy in their work

Excellent customer care service!! Needed a copy receipt to obtain a refund on a faulty product. Phoned up customer care & less than 3 mins later I had an email from them with a copy of the receipt. Went to the shop & was refunded without any problems.

I called Customer service about an issue I had with an item I bought at Livingstone B & M store . Tried to phone store couldn’t through so decided to call customer services with the issue . I got through to Lisa who was extremely helpful and she waited while I got the information she required . I was so grateful as I am a total technophobe . Lisa dealt with my issue in a professional manner . Many thanks for all your help !

Bought a clock at one branch, when attempting to use it was faulty! Took it back to local store to exchange but as I had no receipt they weren’t able to exchange. They advised me to contact customer service they could generate a receipt then I would be able to exchange. Contacted Customer service, spoke with Lisa, she was absolutely fantastic, generated the receipt and emailed it straight to me, Lisa also stayed on the phone to ensure I had received email with attached receipt. This I what all customer service’s should be like. Thankyou Lisa.

Ignorant manager and sales assistant in your bridlington store when a customers tries to asks a question 3 times and is still totally ignored becuase the members of staff are discusinng what they are having for tea. Clearly this business can afford the loss of £45.00 sales on lego.

Absolutely disgraceful aftersales policy. I bought some garden items back in March and about 4 to 5 weeks later the pots (all 4) had all started to crack. Because I had no receipt paid for by my GPay on phone and it was 6 weeks after i purchased them they wouldn't exchange them.
Three weeks later after hours of searching my bank transactions i located a receipt for 2. They then accepted to let me exchange 2 !!!!!
I am still really annoyed at there service and will not shop there ever again on principle.

On a recent visit to Cockermouth B&M we were buying a pack of garden labels and a small pair of secateurs. At the check-out the lady operator said, oh I can't sell you those without my supervisors authorization. Authorisation was given and purchase made.! Please be aware that I'm 79 years old and my wife is73. This situation is absolutely ridiculous, I could understand it if we were under aged and trying to buy them but certainly not us being pensioners. Needless to say we won't be in a hurry to shop again any time soon at B&M's in general

I recently bought a faulty set of flat-pack furniture. I spoke to Jane on the customer services team and she couldn’t have been more helpful, even calling the store to see if they had replacement parts for me. Great customer service.

The young lad that served us was wonderful, however his manager Steph spoke to him like absolute garbage and it was heartbreaking. He made a simple mistake and she spoke to him like some kind of idiot and made no effort to help him. He was such a lovely lad and no retail staff deserve to be spoken to that way.

I was grabbed very roughly by the security guard in Canvey Island b m and he refused to let go of my bag then accusing me of shoplifting, I had not attempted to leave the store nor conceal the 3 tins of spray paint that I had put in my bag as I could not carry them all and when I entered the shop I asked the assistant if that would be ok as there were no baskets she said yes. my husband is disabled and sat in the car I was calling to him from the door way as I needed my phone to check that the spray paint that my daughter had asked me to get was the right colour, I had not attempted to leave the shop and was so shocked when my bag was pulled from my arm, and the guard would not let go, my husband came in to see what was happening by now there was a crowd all looking and he said to my husband that he would not let go of my bag, the manager came over the assistant manager they stood and did nothing, the guard then put his hands on my disabled husband, and started to say that I was in there the Sunday before as well again shoplifting, he then spoke into an intercom twice asked for the police to be called, I was at my daughters house on the Sunday, I also showed the manager I had a debit card in my pocket to pay when I knew if I had the right colour, cand finally barred me!!! I have complained several times to the head office only to be told that b m can withdraw an invitation to their store at any time, I have had no apology or explanation as to how they have come to this decision, I have been told the cctv has been viewed from the incident, it clearly has not because the guard grabbed me so roughly for no reason, this needs addressing by b m if I could have given 0 stars I would have.I have also since found out that none of B M security guards do not have a SIA licence, I spoke to head office today that told me this, so he has no formal security training so essentially he is just a random person that they have employed, so that makes this even worse, he grabbed me when he had no authority to do so and I have also been advised by their head office to contact the police as this is assault. As b & m replied to my review on trust pilot and asked me to contact the head office by telephone, I did and got an email saying I have been given a banning order and that they will not tell me the name of the security guard so I can not go to the police to lodge a complaint of assault against him and I am banned! I am considering legal advice now.
