Took way too long to arrive missing the 50th birthday the book was supposed to be a gift for. No communication despite emails being sent asking where the book was. Used this company before and they were great, but now.... I won't be using again.

We create the books as maquettes, part of our editing process, & are always pleased with the result.

I am so pleased with the quality of my magazine.
Everybody has commented on how brilliantly done it is. Bit expensive when you include P&P.
But I couldn’t have asked for better quality 🙌

I have bought from here before and the quality was great. However, this time I paid EXTRA for even better quality and it was awful, the cover was very bumpy and had some sticky mark on the front that I couldn’t get off. On top of that it didn’t deliver to the address I had given even though I was home and I had to go pick it up from some random place.

This was for my final piece for my a level project and I am very disappointed.

Blurb let me down before and now they have done it again. My order (8923679), which I paid for has vanished into the abyss. It no longer shows on my account and the book I uploaded has vanished too. There is a message on Facebook that there has been problems with sales, login and orders, but it was fixed. Well obviously not. Also their customer service isn’t working because I have message and emailed them with no reply. Can I either have the book I ordered or my money back?

Really pleased with the quality of the colour reproduction.

The books were perfect and I had no complaints. However, the shipping took 24 days, which seems rather longer than I expected.

Example paper swatches are currently not available preventing any confident choice of paper for my project.

We have used Blurb for a number of holiday photo books with occasional text commentary. On the whole the experience has been excellent although some of the menus are not as self-explanatory as they might be. That means we have to remind ourselves of the way things work every time we start a new book after a long gap.

The one definite downside I find is that one cannot change the fundamental page dimensions once the book has begun to be populated. It would be nice to be able to do a “what if” … eg how might it work if I change from say 10x16 to 8x12?

Never had any sort of problem with Blurb before, in fact, quite the opposite, always been really impressed. Two issues though this time, on an order for quantity of 8 photobooks, each 240 pages. The first was Blurb choosing to use Fedex to ship the goods. Fedex chose to separate the two halves of the consignment, so I received the first one after about 10 days, the second nearly 3 weeks after shipping. The tracking info on the Fedex website was never up to date (often more than 24 hours old), and there was no forecast of when the deliveries would be made. The second issue is that one of the books was damaged before packing and shipping. To their credit, Blurb have agreed to send a replacement, but they have no idea when!!

I was pleased with the end result - a nicely presented neat little book. It's the second time I have used Blurb and I would happily use them again.

I can't be happy because it arrived a week after the "promised" date, though I accept this was not Blurb's fault.

As I said in my last review the quality of the Blurb photobooks is good but having ordered another print of the same book recently the delivery time was even longer (2 weeks) due to FedEX problems in their Paris Hub.
It's just not good enough! Get a courier that can deliver to the timescales quoted and stop ripping your customers off!

I've used Bookwright several times and it is so easy, even if you're not particularly tech-savvy. The quality of the printed books is excellent.

Very disappointing. I made a book and it arrived with faulty pictures.

I uploaded it all again, and it came back again with same faults - so annoying !!!
