Misleading Pricing.
I Googled the product I wanted to buy and Bloomingway was the cheapest and it was free delivery as well.
However, when at the checkout stage it added the VAT. Okay, the price is still competitive but once I had paid the bill it was transferred to US$.
With the current exchange rate and the VAT it meant I paid 50% more than that was advertised.
There was no information about this when first deciding to buy and therefore it is very mis-leading and future customers should be aware.
Bloomingway need to be more upfront and honest about their pricing.
That said, I was kept upto date with despatch times and the product did arrive in good time and was well packaged.
Charged more than advertised
Brought a mascara after googling it and finding it cheaper here. Purchased and checked out to find it had converted to dollars... Needless to say once appeared on my bank statement it had cost far more than anywhere else because of a poor rate. Will NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN
ABSOLUTE CON
Lure you in with cheap prices, then add VAT at the very end
I hate websites that advertise a price on Google.co.uk (Shopping), and then you go and order it, but it isn't until the very last step (once you have taken time to input all your details) only to find out they don't include the 20% VAT for the UK! Not only that, they then convert your GBP into USD and the conversion rate they display is estimated, so it costs even more! Why are you selling on the UK market but not displaying the full price we would pay? It's customer deception.
False advertising of product cost and difficult to deal with
I saw my favourite Jane Iredale product advertised at a discount in £s. After I paid and got notification from paypal of the transaction and the amount had been converted into dollars and then back to UK sterling which had pushed the price up. I emailed the customer support to stop the order but they said it was already being dispatched that day. They told me to refuse delivery but the delivery company they used left the parcel outside my house. I've had to pay to send back the product and they won't refund me the cost and are slow to respond to emails. I think it's very misleading.
Great Prices and fantastic Customer Service
I did a search on the net for an item I normally use and a new site I have not heard of before came up, BloomingWay they had the best price, including delivery and priced in AUD, but just so you know, as much as it is priced in AUD, they charge in USD so your bank may charge you a fee. That aside, I read a few reviews before buying f
rom them, most reviews I read were horrible, so I decided to buy just one item and see how it went. Now, when I buy things I look for a good price however I also look for a good trusted service. Sometimes things happen outside of your control or that of the business so what is more important than price is that if you have an issue, what is their customer service like, because it doesn’t matter if you pay the cheapest price but things go wrong and no one will reply, let’s face it, they are in the uS and you can’t go to Fair Trading or knock on their door. Well I had an issue and I emailed them, they responded within 24-48 hours, about 36 hours which considering the time difference is pretty good, they asked me for proof about my issue which is fair and I provided it, again a response within 24-48 hours with the issue being fixed and not just fixed but generously fixed.
As I have said, it is all well and good to pay the cheapest price, but if there is an issue and they don’t reply, then you have lost your money, I am in that situation at this time with a Public Listed Company in the US, but they simply do not reply to any messages sent through their own message system and this is a huge company. So how pleased I am to have my issue responded to quickly and fixed quickly with no hassle. I look forward to buying from this company again, even if the price is a few dollars more, I know that ios there is an issue, they will respond and in my case fix it immediately. I am so pleased now to have found this site because the prices are great and the customer service is fantastic. Like I said, it is all well and good to pay a dollar less but like the issue I have with another company, I had to lodge a Bank dispute because they just don’t reply and they are a Stock Exchange listed Company so 6 starts for BloominigWay You can buy with the knowledge that your item is at a competitive price and if you have an issue,, you have the peace of mind that they will address it promptly and fairly. Congratulations BloomingWay, you really have got your business model right.
I do always try and buy Aussie, but when the price including the difference between AUD and USD is atleast 30% lower, I am sorry but I can’t go past saving those $$ in a household with a very small income.
Misleading pricing - be very wary
I ordered a lipstick advertised as £22.23 (GBP), the charge came through in US Dollars and the actual cost was £28.85. When I went into the web site to look for an email address to make a complaint, I came across a statement that all charges will be in USD, prices in other currencies are for reference only. This is not made clear at point of order or payment hence I was fooled into thinking that the price was £22.23. Misleading with a definite lack of transparency, not what I would expect from a reputable company, I would never order anything from them again. I have emailed a complaint to them today so will wait and see if any satisfactory response is received.
Fair site. Good product, no billing errors, slow to ship.
Good prices but shipping is slow. Shipment notification received three days before product actually shipped. Also, if you review product they offer you 5% off your next purchase. However, coupon code never came through.

After I typed in my details to make a purchase it came up as an error. Then the company sent me several emails to try and lure me in and then my card got blocked.
No goods received, poor customer service
After no goods were received within the delivery window stated i left a voice message for Blooming Way. I received no reply. I followed this up with an email a couple of days later. I received a reply that simply said the goods were delivered and i should contact their couriers. There was no apology for my lack of goods and no responsibility taken for following up with their couriers. I still do not have my item and am now going to have to contact my credit card company for a refund.
BEWARE of ILLEGAL UK VAT FREE pricing!
All their prices on their websites are advertised without UK VAT included - a practice that is illegal under the UK & EU VAT laws, rules & regulations. Their billing is in US$ and therefore final product price doesn't reflect advertised price in other currencies, after currency exchange transaction is taken into account. Therefore ALWAYS change advertised currency price to US$ and bear in mind that it is without VAT. This e-company should be reported for further legal investigation to the UK HRMC Revenues & Customs, UK Trading Standards Authority, UK Office of Fair Trading and EU Consumer Centre & EU E-consumer.
No Blooming Way - Do not be fooled!
Awful company. Bought goods for £30.55, got credit card statement, they charged me £10 more - £40.18. Do not touch this company with a barge pole. Wish I'd read trustpilot before I bought. I'll go back to using feelunique who's customer experience is impeccable. After now reading other trust pilot reviews, I don't understand why Bloomingway is happy to get reviews like this and no repeat purchases compared to a company like feelunique who I've bought from multiple times and are a pleasure to buy from and I'm going back to after this disastrous experiment with Bloomingway. No Blooming Way am I using them again!

Reasons for discrepancy: -
1) VAT not included in initial price
2) Price displayed in GBP but billed in USD
3) Currency conversion shown on website is "optimistic"
Despite above the price paid was not unreasonable and goods delivered in UK by courier 4 (calendar) days after ordering.
I ended up pleasantly surprised!
Overcharged me and ignored my emails!
Buyer beware! Blooming Way overcharged me a significant amount above the advertised price they had listed in Australian Dollars. When I saw my credit card statement, I emailed them requesting they rectify by refunding the difference, I even included proof of their advertised price. They responded the first time, without acknowledging my request for a refund, and I received no response to my subsequent emails.
I can't believe that businesses can be so misleading, deceptive, conduct fraudulent activity and still get away with it. Steer clear.
UK consumers - Be Wary!
Shopping online from UK, all prices shown in Sterling Pounds. Decided to order from Bloomingway.com based on the confirmed amount of £71.24 (Again, take note in Sterling Pounds) for my purchases. Checked bank but was charged £75.30. The discrepancy appears to come from the currency exchange between US$ and Sterling Pounds. We find this very strange as the products were priced in Sterling Pounds at the time of shopping and confirmation of the payment. Not pleased and what a very disappointing experience. This company provides misleading information on the pricing of its goods and will definitely not use them again.
Nearly Perfect - NOT GIFT WRAPPED
I just received an item that I ordered. Very happy with the delivery time and the product itself, however the 'Free gift wrapping' is really very poor, I understand its free but it shouldn't be advertised if it isn't up to scratch. It came as standard cardboard box with a delivery sticker on it, with some white ribbon wrapped around... that isn't gift wrapped, I wouldn't give it as a gift looking like that. And also you do end up charging more than advertised which is really disappointing. I was really happy with your service until these factors came into play and it's left me with a negative view about the company which I didn't want. People that have reviewed you in the past have mentioned they got a complimentary gift etc. and I've actually had the opposite, I didn't get my free gift wrapping and I got charged 20% more than was advertised. I know that it's down to VAT etc. but this needs to be made more clear during the ordering process. In future you should just send a strip of nice wrapping paper or something and then I would be happy with the 'gift-wrapped' aspect.
Price con! Beware!!!
I bought the Gucci Guilty gift set because of the £32 price tag, including free gift wrapping and delivery. The packet just arrived (free gift wrapping means they tie a ribbon around the parcel, which still has my name and address on it), and I noticed there was also a bottle of cheap hand cream which I didn't order. On checking my bank statement I have been charged over £42 rather than the advertised price. It's companies like this who make people wary of online shopping. Never again!
Excellent Service
Purchased perfume from this company, the price was cheaper than many English outlets including Amazon, even after paying tax and postage. Perfume arrived promptly and was well packaged. Would not hesitate to use again as I was extreamly satisfied. Do not be put off from buying from the USA, as they do practice good customer service.
Deceptive tactics
In the UK all consumer prices must be inclusive of VAT where applicable. To have a UK flag and state 'prices are in £' yet not include sales tax is deceptive. They rank high on Google Shopping because of this and I nearly got caught out. I bought from another UK based company whose headline price were more expensive but also had free shipping and more importantly no hidden taxes. Deceptive tactics in my opinion. I will not buy from them now.

Price is OK, not great, free delivery helps - if you can't find it in the UK, then Bloomingway seems fine.
