Fraudulent JUNK!

Firstly, there is NO SUCH ITEM CALLED “Blaux” which given the company’s chatter....German technology and not even accompanied with the “Blaux” name a fixed to the fake fan that FINALLY arrived.
Secondly, your money is transferred into some BLACK HOLE never to be seen again as this “company” has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL to answer questions nor provide assistance for all the returns that are sure to come.
I thank goodness for my protective card company that promptly REFUNDED me and said “keep the junk as they don’t respond to us either”. The refund came when I emailed them the ads with the bogus claims, bogus name along with pictures of the “funny” salmon-pink colored box that (finally!) arrived but that in no way resembled the German made, hi-tech, high priced a.c. these hucksters had pictured.
Save your money and much frustration folks! As the little piece of junk actually suffered a MELTDOWN!!!! Who needs that!?!

Poor product poor service

Hi guys, Similar product is advertised & sold under few different brand names, like CoolAir etc. Wouldn't be surprised if sold by the same marketing company. Its definitely not an a/c or cooling device by any means. It's a simple desk fan but doesn't cool even from 1 feet away. It's a cheaply made, small plastic box made from sub-standard components and poorly assembled. You need to add cold water& ice to make it work in principal. I bought 2 units, those were leaking water in my kitchen from day ONE. there were also issues w/ USB connector which was faulty & broke after 15 minutes of use. I realised, like many of you, that product has absolutley no relevance to the ads. You get the picture. Tried unsuccessfully to reach their support, only e-mail available,waste of time.
My advise to you- don't purchase, save your money!! If you decide to order anyways suggest you *pay with PayPal*- they acted swiftly & after checking my inquiry refunded me the whole amount. Great service PayPal!!

Highly disappointed, I don't know if that's an intentional scam or just bad luck. Save your money

The Blaux portable air conditioner does…

The Blaux portable air conditioner does NOT work. It makes absolutely to difference to a room's temperature. I tried it out at home in a moderately sized bedroom. It did nothing. I took mine to my boat and tried to cool a very small, enclosed bedroom. It did nothing. I am skeptical about positive

These were over advertised and I fell…

These were over advertised and I fell for it. They take a bit of work to set up, like soaking the filter and keeping the freezer packs frozen. That's not a big deal really but the operation is nothing but disappointing! On top of that, I returned the two a month ago and just today, July 30th received a message that they are issuing credit but to wait another 30 days for the credit. I wish I'd have done more research on the company! Lesson learned. Do not buy these they do not work.

Very bad product and company is worse

Very bad product and company is worse. Total scam - they hook you into buying 2 when you want one and unable to see opt out button on website. Company unable to be reached to complain or return product. Product does not even work. Product does not "cool a room" and barely holds charge more than 20 minutes on high.
My bad for falling for scam - buyer beware and DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT!

Total rip off. They should feel fortunate to receive one star. Only keeps you cool if you put your nose six inched from the fan. Hopefully this company will be out of business soon so other people don’t get caught up in this SCAM. Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I bought one of came without bill or return address. I dispute the charges on my credit card. I purchased June 6 came in June 30. I couldn't returned. The credit gave me money back, and Blaux charge me again because I received the product, of course I got it, but I couldn't returned the customer service, never answer I can't a return without a return label. Also in the credit car statement they don't put the phone number either.
Finally when I got my statement I called my credit card company to give their number, I spoke to somebody and told me they were going to send me an email to processes my claim. Still waiting.
I been charge $ 116.00 because I purchased lifetime warranty .
This it's a scam and I telling everybody not to buy from this company. They are not trustable.

Unit did not cool as expected! Could not get refund!

The unit did not cool as expecte; therefore, I returned the item (within 30 days) and requested a full cash refund. I was given very specific instructions by Blaux staff regarding the return which I followed. Blaux confirmed receipt of item and advised that my refund was being processed. I never heard back regarding my refund. After several calls to Customer service, I was told that the refund period had expired and they could only issue a store credit. Needless to say, I am not interested in their store credit or in doing any future business with them.

Update...I understand that items purchased don't always meet expectations. My disappointment and frustration is that after I returned the item, I did not get my cash refund due to your delay in processing and since I didn't agree to the store credit, I didn't receive anything from Blaux. So I'm out of $90 and nothing to show for it. Not sure how this is fair or legal business practice.

Poor elderly mom got ripped off GARBAGE DONT BUY

My mom mistakenly purchased this for my son last summer but due to COVID I didn’t get it from her until a few days ago. Purpose was for sons computer room. I set it up to test it before giving it to him. OMG it was on a book on my bed beside me. Absolute piece of junk rip off. Had I know my mom was buying this I would have done my research BEFORE ordering it, always do your research before buying anything online with no store to return to, so like probably a hell of a lot of people got scammed. DONT BUY SCAM!!!

Terrible product and service

Like others I would have left zero stars if could.
First, I never received a confirmation email for my order despite emailing the company for it several times. I did however get their other promotional emails.
Second, it took around a month to get the order, with very little information as to when it would ultimately get sent.
Third, the product was little more than a plastic box that very lightly pushed out warm air, even with ice added. I live in a small room in Manhattan. If it can't cool this room, it can't cool anywhere.
Forth, when emailing for a.refund, my email was ignored. It's going on six.days without a response. Prior emails were answered in one day (granted with little information).
I don't ever write reviews but his product and company are so scammy it required one. Stay away!

Edit:
7/12 update: in response to their reply about contacting customer service... I have!! I sent one email asking about how to get a refund 6 days ago and another 3 days ago! Last night I got an automatic email saying I'm a high priority, but still nothing around twenty four hours later.

beispielhafter Kundendienst

Habe eine tragbare Mini-Klimaanlage und einen Ersatzfilter online gekauft. Lieferung erfolgte innerhalb von 10 Tagen, das Gerät war schon wertig und funktionierte wie beschrieben. Der eingebaute Akku dient vermutlich ausschließlich für die Beleuchtung. Zum Betrieb des Gerätes ist ein beigefügtes USB-Kabel erforderlich. (ca 80 cm lang).
und der Betrieb des Gerätes erfordert eine Verbindung mit dem PC oder einem USB-Hub. Für einen Standort , der weiter entfernt ist, ist ein Adapter für eine Steckdose (11 € ) erforderlich, der leider nicht in der Lieferung enthalten ist. Mit ihm kann man das Gerät unbegrenzt lange an jeder Steckdose betreiben. Ich habe es nach Vorschrift in einem Arbeitszimmer von 8 qm über einen Zeitraum von 24 Stunden lang betrieben und die Raumtemperatur ist von 26° auf 28° angestiegen !
Darum habe ich mich entschlossen, das Gerät zurückzugeben ! .. und teilte dies dem Kundendienst mit. Nach nicht einmal 10 Minuten erhielt ich die Nachricht, dass meine Entscheidung bedauert werde,
gleichzeitig unterbreitete man mir das unverbindliche Angebot, 20 % des Kaufpreises zu erstatten, wenn ich das Gerät selbst doch weiter betreiben würde.
Ich wollte jedoch das Gerät zurückgeben und den Kaufpreis erstattet haben. Unverzüglich teilte man mir eine Rücksendeadresse mit und bat mich um einige Tage Geduld, die es brauchen würde, bis die Rücksendeprozedur absolviert sei. Ich teilte am 07.07. dem Kundendienst mit, dass ich die Sendung aufgegeben habe und nannte auch eine DHL- Paketnummer für eine Sendungsverfolgung mit.
Nun war ich darauf vorbereitet, dass die gesamte Rücknahme- und Erstattungsprozedur bis zu 30 Tage in Anspruch nehmen könnte , wurde jedoch überrascht, als ich bereits 10 Minuten nach meiner Rücksendeankündigung durch PayPal von der vollständigen Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises informiert wurde, und der Betrag war bereits heute, am 08.07. auf meinem Bankkonto gutgeschrieben !!!!
Fazit:
Ich gehöre noch einer Generation an, der ein Handschlag zum Abschluss eines Vertrages ausreichen würde, und darum stelle ich fest:
Die Abwicklung hier ist vorbildlich , schnell und kompetent durch einen beispiellosen Service
erledigt worden! So macht Online-Einkaufen Spaß !!!
Ein Online-Einkauf hat stets den Nachteil, dass man den gewünschten Artikel vorher nicht ansehen oder ausprobieren kann. Die Anpreisung eines Artikel ist die Werbung. Das Risiko dabei ist, man könnte von einer geschickten Werbung mehr zugesicherte Eigenschaften von einem Artikel erwarten, als er dann tatsächlich bietet. Und jetzt kommen die im Voraus bekannten Geschäftsbedingungen zur Anwendung !
Falls hier einmal ein enttäuschter Kunde dem Unternehmen Betrug vorwirft, ist das völlig unangemessen und unverschämt, denn der Kundenservice ist vorbildlich !!!!

I was interested at first

I was interested at first, but after reading the reviews I changed my mind. The thing is, I filled the order form with my address and credit card number, but NEVER SUBMITTED IT, and they billed me and sent it to me anyway, hoping I would keep it to save the trouble of returning it. I still have to pay the return fees! That,s a waste of time and money, please learn from this! Never opened the box, I don't know if it works actually.
