I had a test kit in the drawer which I was intending to use only to find it had expired. I had done a previous test so this was going to be a follow up of approx 1 year interval. I contacted Biomesight and they sent a replacement kit free of charge. I was expecting to pay at least something as this was totally my fault. Anyway it arrived only a few days later. I am very impressed with the service and would recommend.
p.s. the actual website itself once you have done your test is very informative. I thought my akkermansia was extinct but Biomesight detected it clinging on for dear life at 0.002%

1st time I’ve ever done a test such as…
1st time I’ve ever done a test such as this. I was quite impressed with how much info came back… although not quite sure how to read the info or what it means or what to do with yet! More research needed I guess.

When you find and analyse all these DNA…
When you find and analyse all these DNA and RNA bits there are inevitably fungal, worm and protozoal DNA/RNA that you detect, but then don't analyse....
This is the only reason you're not getting 5 stars from me.
Finding candida and protozoal presences would be invaluable.....

great info- now what?
A huge amount of information on percentages of FAMILIES of microbes found.
However did not help me in my quest for figuring out what to do about the issue.
They need to recommend specific probiotics or products that will help turn the cycle of the negative microbes found. They do recommend foods and lifestyle changes which if you have been on this quest for a while, you have already incorporated those factors, like me with no results.

Dear JT, thank you so much for the review. We do already provide some prebiotic and (limited) specific products that contain those prebiotics. We are still working on probiotic recommendations and the specific products that contain them.
You can access the prebiotic recommendations by going to the recommendations section and then selecting the prebiotics tab.

The prebiotics are ranked by impact and if you click on them you will see links for specific products that contain them.
For probiotic recommendations, there is an option to transfer your results to a 3rd party site:
https://biomesight.com/microbiomeprescription
Once you log into that site you can view some probiotic recommendations from there.
Hopefully in the next 3 to 6 months we will have probiotic recommendations directly on Biomesight.

Amendment to Prior Review
I want to amend a prior review in which I gave 1 star due to a mistaken belief that the report had not been shipped to me. I reached Customer Service which rapidly and quickly helped me find the report which had been sent via email. The confusion was due to operator error on my part. The customer service was helpful and excellent. The report itself was detailed and likewise excellent in the information it provided.
