I purchased this test to gather more information about my microbiome. The test arrived timely and once I shipped off my stool sample the results came in 2-3 weeks.
When I did have a question, my answer came quickly. I loved that the results gave me foods which I should eat more of to make improvements to my microbiome. I went ahead and paid the addition cost for a in-depth view of my results as I am new at learning about my health this way. My consultation was easily arranged and feel the value was great.

My confusion is the external application of : microbiome prescription . I need further guidance on that. I played with it a bit , but I wasn’t seeing the value ( although I’m sure there is ) . Perhaps a you tube video on how to use it for myself , would be helpful

I plan to rested in a few months to see if the changes I made to my food choices helped and by what amount. I have recommended this test to others already. They seemed excited about it.

Excellent overall except for the way I can download and print the report. Please let us include all the tabs/ info on the side. Not just the overview.

Biomesight is an excellent test. I am looking forward the day when there is much more bacteria strains detected. Just telling me I need more Bifido or Lacto is not enough. I want to know the exact strain and where to find the product(if available commercially). Thanks for your great work. I will order again in 3 months.

Excellent customer service and quick response to queries. The report was incredibly detailed. However, a summary of the results would have been appreciated as it's almost too detailed to make much sense of!

The info you get sent afterwards is not very clear. I have spoken to quite a few people who were confused by what was sent to them. It might be more useful to reformat the results for the average, non expert! I wasn’t clear on what I was supposed to do next!

I was slightly concerned about the legitimacy of the test when it arrived without swab or return address. These issues were quickly resolved and from then the process was straightforward. The results came through in less than a fortnight were very detailed and have prompted me to re-examine my diet.

If you have any health concerns at all, Biomesight provides a really simple process, outstanding service and responsiveness, and simple readily understandable explanations and recommendations as to how you can improve your life easily through specific foods as medicine, prebiotic (not probiotic) supplements and simple lifestyle modifications.

It's not mentioned on the site, but it's best to entirely cut out refined sugar, processed foods, and pesticides (go organic!) as much as you can, as each of those have hugely significant adverse affects on the microbiome. Eating a rainbow of 30-40 different plant colours/types/variants a week (a teaspoon or more counts) is hugely beneficial as well.

Although I'm not an expert in the field, I am now fascinated by the potential of the microbiome to transform health and alleviate many and varied conditions. Accordingly, I hugely value the optional (opt in) integration available also between Biomesight and an external platform (Microbiome Prescription) for much more detailed analysis - particularly as to second opinions, specific condition complaints, specific probiotics which may help me make further progress, and detailed references to emerging science in medical journals. This would easily be far too much info and detail for most people, but if you want or need to go that big leap further to really address significant health concerns, then that additional integration is immeasurably valuable.

I have used Biomesight multiple times now and I can see myself doing so ongoing at regular intervals in due course, as I continue to make food, supplement and lifestyle changes accordingly. I have also used a lesser-known competitor provider in the past, and while they were useful for more detailed info on pathogens, Biomesight provides the best ongoing help to make dramatic changes in my health. In hindsight, and knowing far more now about how the microbiome works (add life / nutrition, and avoid antibiotic-based "kill" strategies like the plague unless life threatening, as they can exterminate for life beneficial microbes which you need), I now wish I had found Biomesight first and just used it instead.

i live outside the uk and still the sample kit arrived soon after ordering. the instructions were clear and it took about 3 weeks for the results to be announced by email. i really liked that the results come with suggestions that are easy to understand by anyone, but if you want to dig deeper, there are interesting decriptions on many bacteria. as a very big plus, it is possible to download or export the data. i used it to further analyse them with an external site (also linked in the menu) which was also helpful. however i have a background in that field, therefore it might a bit much for someone who doesn't. all in all i'm very happy and probably will buy a second kit to monitor my progress.

I can’t access my results. Very frustrating!

Took a few weeks after sending. The results were easy to understand, informative and could take actions on. Something the genetic testing companies don’t do is show how common a genetic variant is but this company showed the distribution of results for a particular bacteria so I could understand whether something was not ideal but common or not ideal and uncommon- very helpful.
Overall the user interface was great and I would recommend.

The ability to be able to download your own data & plug In elsewhere is so helpful ! You can go from basic info to really in-depth with the add on facility depending on your needs. Helpful for all & I'd like to see this as mainstream medicine !
