International shipments were too slow…
International shipments were too slow to communicate needs and get things on the road. I had to take the package down the street to ship it just to get it on the road. Communication was poor. When I called to try to understand what you needed to be filled out and how there was no one to talk to. As a suspension tuner for world cup athletes getting them suspension, time and help matter. I need to get things moving which is why I wanted to use Bike Flights but couldnt. Things are expensive and shouldn't also be hard at that point.

We’re sorry the international shipping process was frustrating, particularly when you needed to get equipment moving quickly for your athletes. We understand that time matters, and we apologize that you felt communication and support were lacking.
For international shipments, we do have an International Shipping FAQ that outlines the documentation required for different types of shipments and provides guidance on items that cannot be shipped. In this case, the shipment also included motor oil, which is listed on our prohibited-items list and unfortunately cannot be shipped through Bikeflights. This requirement is in place because of carrier and international shipping restrictions.
That said, we understand that navigating international requirements can be frustrating, and we appreciate the feedback about the communication and difficulty getting answers when you needed them. We’ll share that feedback with our team as we continue working to make the international shipping process clearer and easier to navigate.

Two significant problems
Front and center, your website tells customers to fill out a consumer product protection form. Nowhere does it say that if the customer is shipping their own bike the form is not needed. I had to call to obtain this information. Then, it turns out that somehow I created TWO orders when I only had a single box to ship. So, you folks had to cancel the second order and refund my payment. These are avoidable errors on the part of Bikeflights.

We’re sorry for the confusion and frustration with the process. For international shipments, we do ask for certain documentation upfront because that information is needed to help create the appropriate shipping and customs labels. That said, we understand that the reason for the request — and when it applies — could be clearer on the website, and having to call us for clarification was frustrating.
We also apologize for the duplicate order issue. If you only had one box to ship, having a second order created and then needing to have it canceled and refunded added an unnecessary step.
We appreciate you pointing out both issues. Feedback like this helps us identify where we can make the international shipping process clearer and easier to navigate.

Never again
So far, so bad; overpriced process between paying for boxing of bike and the shipment. I was forced to use this service and will never again. I will continue to fly with my bike; cheaper and often free. I just hope my bike makes it home and is not busted up.

A very good service with weak UI
While a very good service (perhaps the only one!) the user interface for entering addresses was very glitchy on the mac.
After messing with it, and the weird address verification code, it was fine.
