We love to help people make better coffee no matter what their tastes are, we know everyone likes their drink differently so we’ve made it our mission to roast the best coffee possible that’s bursting with flavour whichever way you brew it! We've been around since 2008 and roasting our own coffee in our Liverpool Roastery since 2015. You might have visited us in one of our coffee shops across the North West or we may be coming to a high street near you soon. We roast a range of speciality coffee that’s available on our online store, including many single origins and our signature Bean Blend – a number of which have won Great Taste Awards that we’re really proud of. Our passion for coffee comes from our love for the way it’s made, the people who grow it and the incredible pride and care they take when nurturing every single coffee plant and preparing each bean in harmony with the natural environment they all thrive in. From visits to coffee farms across the globe and the close relationships we hold dearly with farmers and trusted import partners, we have embraced our responsibility to help make the coffee industry better, starting by knowing exactly where our beans come from, who is growing them and who’s handling it between the farm and us. Understanding this chain is the key to ensuring a sustainable future for coffee growing communities and the ability to continually improve quality of coffee and quality of life. Closer to home we do our best to build meaningful partnerships that support our local community, and have been working with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with our limited edition single origin beans hoping to raise tens of thousands of pounds to support the incredible work they do. Disappointing experience at Meadowhall

I had a very disappointing experience at the Meadowhall branch due the aggressive blond hair manager!
I came to Bean to buy a coffee and was served by Matt. During our conversation, I simply said that if he was ever looking for a job, to let me know. He later came to my workplace of his own accord to ask about the role, and I gave him an email address to send his CV to. At no point was he pressured or encouraged to do anything inappropriate.
When I returned to the Meadowhall store the following day as a paying customer to buy another coffee, the manager confronted me at the till, in front of other customers, and accused me of "poaching staff," claiming that what I was doing was illegal. I politely explained that this is not illegal, but she continued to argue with me in a confrontational manner.
I found the whole interaction extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Regardless of any concerns the manager may have had, confronting and accusing a paying customer publicly was completely inappropriate. If she had concerns, a private conversation would have been the professional way to handle the situation.
I expect to be treated with respect when shopping, and I certainly don't expect to be publicly accused of wrongdoing when I have done nothing unlawful. This experience has left a very poor impression of the Meadowhall branch, and because of the way I was treated, I won't be returning.

Again, I also love my chats with the witty and delightful Georgia, she is lovely and brightens my day.

Your baristers are a credit to your company, they are not just doing a job, they are creating excellent coffee, serving great food, with humour, wit and basic human kindness!

Something we all need more of in the sometimes difficult world to live in.

Excellent coffee!

They deliver excellent, freshly roasted coffee quickly at a good price! I don't think I need to say any more than that!

Bean subscription service

I've been using the Bean subscription service for many years now, it's very flexible for changing the delivery date, the coffee always arrives on time, it's good value for money and best of all it tastes good!

Bean blend

My husband and I have been enjoying our daily coffee made from "Bean blend" beans for sometime now. We like the taste, quality, consistency, service and etc.
We had some visitors from abroad a few weeks ago staying at our house. They couldn't praise these coffee beans enough saying its one of the best coffee they ever had. I thought my Jura coffee machine will explode:-), nearly 1kg of coffee beans were gone in 3 days. And that says it all!
