BASED Bodyworks 

I placed an order nearly 1 month ago and still not received the products, even after sending two emails to their contact email and receiving no response. Starting to feel like this is a bogus website and been duped. Avoid!

My order still hasn’t even shipped. I ordered it May 2nd and it’s been 5 days and nothing even shipped.

I ordered off basedbodyworks.com and I was told on the based tiktok account I would get a free toiletry bag when i order a set. I ordered a set of shampoo and conditioner and did not find a toiletry bag in the box. I emailed customer service multiple times and none of them got answered.

I ordered sea salt spray and texture powder from the website basedbodyworks.uk I know apparently it’s a scam but it came and it was the real product surprisingly I’m not saying order it from there but I did and the results were so good major upgrade from my previous brand the website promised 2/4 days delivery time but it took 3 weeks so bit concerning but products were real good quality.based please reply you guys saved me thank you

Spent £40 on 2 product as a gift. No reply from customer support, no shipping info and no product delivered. May as well have thrown my money down the drain. Went to this company specifically for their ethos. Poor judgement on my behalf.

The company replied to my email and set everything straight. It turns out I was duped into believing the UK site was legit and that was scammed. Thankfully the guys at Based were super helpful and I was able to get my money back from the bank and reorder the products from the official site.
Experience rated changed from 1-4 I’ll maybe go to 5stars when the products arrive.

I wanted to share my experience as I’ve seen quite mixed reviews.

The products themselves are clearly high quality and I can see why they work very well for a lot of people. Unfortunately, they didn’t suit my scalp and I experienced a flare-up, but I understand that this was down to my individual condition rather than the products themselves.

Shipping to the UK did take a little while (around 2 weeks for me), so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re ordering internationally.

Customer service was very good overall. There was a slight delay in getting a response initially, but once they replied, they were helpful, professional, and handled everything properly. They honoured their guarantee and provided a fair refund, which I really appreciated.

Overall, I’m happy with the service I received and would still highly recommend Based Bodyworks, especially as everyone’s experience can differ.

My clay and deodorant are kinda weird like my deodorant is hard and after about 1-2 hours after applying I smell odor and my clay when I rub it on my hands it just feels like sand

Their Shipping to UK is accurate. Their products are healthy.

But, I think their products are too gentle. Like the under eye elixir, it didnt do anything to my eyes after 3 months of using it, their skincare cleanser doesent get rid of issues like sabecous filaments, however their moisturizer is good. Their shampoo and conditioner is amazing and will 100% cure dry scalp after a month and half of use, and their curl cream works perfect. Just their skincare I think isn't the best.

As someone who has never used body lotion, I think theirs is normal/good

i purchased the shampoo and conditioner bundle it is so soothing and calms your scalp all day made with peppermint oil scents making it smell good, look good and feel good which came with a free toiletry bag and on top of that bought the clay and sea salt spray duo these products unlocks my hairs potential so well, will definitely purchase more once i run out also came with another toiletry bag due to the bundle of clay and sea salt spray

In the past I ordered one time but now it doesn’t let me to select Greece as an option at the check out the products are good but pls make shipping available to Greece again !!

Best product i have used but shipping to uk was 20 days and £80 on a £150 order

I haven't even received it to evaluate the product but there shipping is just down right awful and their response to concerns is also ridiculous. We order 4/24 it shipped 4/27 okay fine they sent tracking cool. Well all the track says is label created which seems to me like it hasnt even left their building. Why would you use a shipping company with so many issues. The majority of bad reviews are from the shipping why would you continue shipping through them. I contacted based customer service just to ask if it was actually shipped and they sent me the same tracking info as I already had and it still say label created and they just said sometimes there is no movement with tracking but its still shipped that is the most dumbest answer I have ever received. Do better. It also says 3 to 5 business days so the 5th business day is Monday 5/4. If I do not receive it by then I will not buy the products again.

I love this company and the products are very good. However, they need to be better with communication. I have had two orders that were randomly delayed and I was never told why. When I spoke to a real person over the TikTok chat my question was answered with a pre written looking message that had no relation to what I asked. I’m afraid my most recent one will be cancelled because it is not available to purchase anymore. Also RESTOCK BEEF TALLOW ! ! !

My 14yr old autistic son ordered £46 of stuff without my knowledge. Contacted support and had quick response to emails. Refund issued which we are appreciative form.

It absolutely sucks. The clay is really dense like very oily very very actually doesn’t make my hair stand up at all like I can’t stand it. It’s the worst kind of thing I’ve had but the texture powder was an OK version but I don’t like the products and I bought texture powder and clay for our show, not looking good based.
