Order never shipped and was never linked to the confirmation number i received
Placed my order and was told it would be delivered within 3-5 days, and after a week with no updates to shipping i reached out to customer support just for them to tell me they had no orders linked to the confirmation number they sent me, then after multiple emails between support they said they would reach out to me regarding my order and i haven’t heard back in multiple days and it has been well over two weeks since my order was placed

Great customer service
I give BASED BODY WORKS a five out of five stars because I purchased a texture powder from TikTok shop and it arrived damaged, I sent a message to their support team and they got back to me the day after saying they will send me a FREE replacement. Two days later I got a email saying that a replacement product was on its way to me. Their products are really high quality and no harmful ingredients.Highly recommend BASED BODY WORKS.

Clay sucks
Ordered clay off TikTok Shop and it is not as advertised. It's advertised as high hold and low shine but when you use the recommended amount, it makes your hair look extremely oily even when applied to freshly shampooed hair. The hold lasts like 5 minutes. Stop falsely advertising/reformulate the clay.

I placed order #1345485 with Based…
I placed order #1345485 with Based Bodyworks on May 15, 2026, and as of May 29, 2026, I still have not received my order. I have emailed multiple times asking for an update, but only received what appear to be automated AI responses with no real assistance.
The tracking information has also been frustrating. It showed the package arriving at a UniUni warehouse on 5/27/2026 and then “interfacility transit” on 5/28/2026, with no clear delivery date or meaningful update.
I am very disappointed because this order was intended to be a gift and did not arrive on time. Based on this experience, I am not sure I would order from this company again or recommend them to others. The shipping process has taken far too long, and customer service has not been helpful.

I am very disappointed with this company and wish I had read reviews before placing an order. I placed an order for 2 hair products and received an email on 27th April to say items have been dispatched. I have had no further updates and no tracking information and have still not received my products. I emailed the company on 22nd May 2026 and have not received any acknowledgment or response. I am very disappointed with this companys values and commitment to customers

Unfortunately I used a fraudulent company posing as Based.
When I got in touch with Based themselves, they were very helpful to the situation and I was able to sort it out through my bank.
