When we arrived to pick up our car
When we arrived to pick up our car rental, it was not available. We had ordered a hybrid car but was given a petrol car instead. Over the 10-day hire this would cost us more money to run the car. Also, we were believed to have car insurance, but this was not the case as it was not fully insured.

We did have an issue with pick up from the airport due to the wrong phone number given to us from the 3rd party who we ordered the car from . We could not fault anything else . Very happy

A good simple efficient hire
The car was clean and as described. The staff were helpful, and the process simple. We had to change cars due to a break light out, but this was no problem to the company and was very smooth. The airport pickup and drop off was efficient and welcoming. We will certainly use and recommend them again.

Instructions for pick up need to better…
Instructions for pick up from the airport we're a bit off. The pick up area was on the complete òpposite side of the airport than explained in our email. We called the number numerous times but since our phone was out of country the office did not contact us and we had to pay a taxi to get us to the off airport rental site. We were told to contact corporate to see if we could get reimbursement. Will have to see where that goes once we return home. Otherwise, we did get a car and were encouraged to purchase the additional extra covered even though we had a third party rental coverage tbat was supposed to be included with our rental through vroomvroomvroom.com which increased the cost quite considerably than we had planned.

It is unfortunate that the shuttle instructions you were provided weren't accurate. We do have a map for each location on our website showing exactly where the pick-up is.
We're very sorry that the conversation at the depot was confusing. We are required to inform our customers of any risks they're taking, so regarding the third-party insurance, this product is not related to Bargain Car Rentals, and this is where the confusion lies. It cannot reduce your excess, and if an accident occurs, all excesses and fees are payable to us.
You can then file a claim to be reimbursed through the third-party insurance provider. We do then have to advise you of the conditions of the basic level of coverage, so you're aware of what you could be paying to be reimbursed at a later date.
