Our Tui flight was changed to a Avion express flight on an old noisy plane from Gatwick to Arrecife,sat on the stand as the plane had a software problem on the return flight.there is no legroom on these planes with no neck support. You charge enough tui and don't give a dam about your customers. If I ever get told my flight is being changed to this carrier I will cancel my booking and make a claim to get my money back .flights on 3rd August 23 and 17th August 23

awful experience on this plane operated by BA. broken arm rests with sharp plastic and torn seats, even in business class. I've written to the CEO of BA with photos. do the same if this happens to you!!!

Not BA however staff were very friendly and helpful during a very bumpy and turbulent flight when passengers were feeling unwell etc. pilot had brilliant communication with the cabin about the turbulence and that was brilliant. Staff get a 5/5 however the cabin itself was unfortunately dated. No recline and very little legroom I struggled at 5 feet 10 so anyone taller would most certainly need extra legroom seats. Was it the plane BA, no but the service was of BA standard.

The most uncomfortable seats on an old plane and the most utterly miserable staff. BA use them when they’ve overbooked and transfer you to this carrier as I can’t think why anyone would choose to use Avion otherwise

Flew back from Faro to Gatwick; wasn't made aware that flight was being operated by Avion Express instead of BA. On check in I was offered an upgrade to Club for 130 euros. Thankfully I didnt go for it. Plane was old, noisy, hot, more seats crammed in than any cheapo no frills airline so zero leg room. Also dirty. Sat on the tarmac for over an hour whilst the crew chatted in the galley. No updates from flight deck during the flight. It was awful. Didnt feel safe, landing was dreadful. Will not travel with them again.
BA cheats by using this sub-standard company
I'm a regular BA flyer (silver member). Like many of us, this Summer I have had the misfortune of flying with aircrafts from this company, which BA's subsidiary BA-flyer uses for mane Gatwick routes in the Summer.
The short of it is that the is service is absolutely not up to the standards one expects when booking a BA flight.
Staff are poorly trained and obviously inexperienced, sometimes hapless (god knows what would happen in an emergency). Cleanliness and logistics leave much to be desired. Procedures on board are annoying and irritating, enforced brutally and with zero communication skills.
Avion Express Malta as TUI flight
Avion Express Malta are running Gatwick to Girona flights for TUI...the planes have the TUI logo but are plain white.
Both flights were on very old not well maintained A320's that were noisy, rattly, seats falling apart and some of the smallest legroom I've experienced.
Last flight with TUI before this was on one of their actual airline 787's....a totally different experience.
Cheated And Deceived By British Airways
We bought a holiday from British Airways to Rhodes, flying Club Europe with BA and staying at a luxury hotel. Hotel was great. BA did not fulfil its legal obligations in any way. It subcontracted out the flights to this Lithuanian company, presumably skimmed off a profit and said 'get on with it'. I echo the words of others; Avion Express has NO Club/Business Class seats, they are all economy with tiny amounts of leg room. The staff are inexperienced, the food was overcooked, the toilet at the front was 'out of order', the toilet at the back had the paper towel disposal taped up. The service level was shocking, two young people who have clearly never served customers in Business Class in their lives. Totally untrained, customers having to wave at them to get a coffee. It was the most god-awful 4hr flight I've ever experienced. As the tray doesn't fit the tray table, red wine spilled on my trousers. No duty free. Staff that struggle to speak and understand English. I could write pages on it but I'm sure you get the drift. Do NOT under any circumstances fly with this company.
As a technician left the aircraft, I heard him say to the staff, 'this is unacceptable, if you fly this plane like this, it's down to you, but I've got better things to do with my time'. That was technician as he left the plane, prior to take off.
BA Club World - Avion not a replacement
Our BA Club Europe flight to Lanzarote was replaced with an Avion Express flight - by BA. We were reassured by BA that we would have the same experience. Absolutely not true! Aircraft are old, tiny leg space, food overcooked, staff out of their depth.
The most worrying thing was the dirty state of the aircraft. When I put my table down for my meal the table hadn’t been wiped - still full of food & wine stains from previous passengers. The seat pocket / seat back were also dirty. I showed the flight attendant who was apologetic but he said they are not given sufficient cleaning time on the ground.

Avoid at all costs
We recently had an Easyjet flight fulfilled by Avion Express and it was the most uncomfortable flight of my life. The seats are TINY and legroom non existent. If you thought the likes of RyanAir/Easyjet were uncomfortable, think again. I am 5ft4in tall and barely fit my knees in. The seats don't even have seat pockets to put things in. Everything was so rickety and creaky. Horrendous.

Mine forældre havde bestilt deres billetter gennem travelmarked.dk i maj måned, kastrup-chania var Norwegian, chania-kastrup var med avion express. Eller det troede de. For mine forældre sad i chania lufthavn kl 3.40 d. 31/07/22, og deres såkaldte fly med avion express, var ikke eksisterende! De havde endda fået en mail fra avion express d. 30/7 at flyet var til tiden men at de kun kunne tjekke ind i lufthavnen .
De fik endda også en mail fra avion express om formiddagen d. 31/7,at nu var deres fly landet sikkert i København 😡😡😡😡
Vælg aldrig avion express!!!!
Det var så 9000 kr dyrere ferie, da de blev nød til at finde et andet fly.
De og vi er tosset og er blevet meget snydt!!

The flight my parents were supposed to be traveling on, chania-kastrup (31/7/22) never existed!
They ordered the tickets though travelmarked.dk, my parents even got an e-mail that said that the flight was on time. But it never existed.!!!!
My parents feel so cheated an pay 9000 Danish crowns to get home at last.
We are so angry!!

Forsinkelse forsinkelse forsinkelse… på turen fra Danmark til Kreta blev vi 4,5 time forsinket. Vi sidder pt. i flyet på Kreta, og venter på at lette. Også i dag er vi 3+ timer forsinket. Ikke godt nok 👎🏻
